The cargo van I was assigned via online/24-7 check out was being held for someone else. So the lady at the desk had to give me a different vehicle. I was double charged for this so my bank held $600 away from my account for the whole weekend. The first vehicle they gave me had a flat tire, and the second vehicle I was requested to "not lock the drivers side door" because it was broken into and needed to be fixed. When I returned the van, the gas station was out of gas, so I had to add a few extra miles to go to a different location and back, just to fill the tank. I never signed any paperwork, and I never approved damages that were previously made on any of the vehicles. It felt very sketchy to me, and will never rent from this location ever again.Jeremy M.

It is annoying to have to walk â€œdown the hillâ€ to get the truck and then again to drop it off. The annoyance there didn't compare to your website, though, which has never allowed me to register, submit any data, or send a picture despite trying probably a dozen times. Your website is a worse UX than Red Robin, and that is difficult to achieve.MATTHEW M.

You need to hire a worker to handle only this type of job. Hsving one person to dealing with the customers at a gas station,plus handling the duties for reservation for uhaul is very inconvenient to the least.Mammie K.

Scammy location. We returned the truck a day early because we were done with it. They still charged us for three days. The girl on the phone when I called and said that we'd be returning the truck early did not say anything about still being charged for three days. There was a dolly in the truck that we never asked for and never used. The green zip tie on the dolly was apparently broken, just shoved through the hole and left hanging there. We did not realize that until we were half-way through loading the truck. We never used the stupid dolly. I guess they are not making enough money and so are scamming people that way. I question their maintenance as well. Steering was making strange noises on the highway, like a steering linkage was loose. Well, it's done with, we're gone, good riddance. 1. My pickup, took 35 mins, as I was 'verified' right when I went to pickup the vehicle. All this needed was an alternate number, yet it took 35 mins because of in the moment and processes. 2. I was told there would be an appliance dolly in the van, it was not there, I had to go ask for it, have them trace it, and then wheel it in myself, and then wheel it back to the attendant.Sharad B.
Unorganized or just not enough staff. Staff will wait on all gas paying customers 1st even though I was in front of them. My time was not taken seriously. When I dropped the truck off the guy that waited on me wasn't friendly. The lady that helped me during initial pick was great. Very kind and doing the best she could. More staff is needed.Monique M.

Vehicle was in great shape. Brand new with low mileage. There was no walk-through before the rental. I was told to record mileage and gas level before I left, which I did. When returning, I was told to leave the vehicle. I replaced the gas I used at my cost. Once again, no walk-through for return, and I was still charged for fuel even though I returned the vehicle at the same level as when I received it.Philip B.

Uhaul continues to advertise a military discount however each of my last four rentals the locations did not follow the policy, it's clear that Uhauls military discount is a fraud. Also, this location took my reservation for a 20 foot truck and called me an hour prior to my scheduled pick up time saying they didn't have the truck available, resulting in me having to pay for extra miles due to using a smaller truck than I reserved.MARK H.
Service is horrible they checked me out once I returned my truck inspected everything sent me my invoice and everything they asked me to park the truck all the way in a different parking lot in 95 degree heat because the lady working couldn't drive the truck even tho the truck was parked in a parking spot might I add once I declined she got upset and 3 hours later once I'm gone charges me an additional 25 dollars for an additional truck cleaning fee that I will be calling uhaul during business hours to get that refunded because as I said my truck was clean and inspected and I have picturesGORDON S.

The lady working there is a perfect assignee to destroy company reputation in seconds. I have been using U-Haul for more than 2 years already and probably today's experience will be the reason not to even glance to this company anymore. Moreover, car was stinking like a fish... Literally! As if someone kept dead fishes inside the car for a long time and I had to carry brand new furniture in it...BAKHTIYAR M.

I returned the truck to the location and pumped gas there. Your site says trucks get 10mpg. I put 2 gallons. I used 13 miles on the trip so 2 gallons should be enough at 10mpg. The attendant checked the mileage and the gas level while I was at the pump. Since their lot is not large enough for 20 ft trucks they asked me to drive the truck back over to a big parking lot across the road while they calculate the refund. I came back and the guy said I would get my receipt and he didn't know how much the refund was. Refund should include mileage and dolly that they didn't have. The receipt still had charges for the dolly and they also added 2 gallons for the fuel. He said his picture shows half of the tank. My photo is above half and in any case he checked this right at the pump because I wanted to check that everything is good before driving the truck back to the big lot (since they can't actually hold their capacity of trucks in their facility). I have receipts via Citibank showing that I purchased gas there. I shouldn't have had to ask them twice to refund me for the dolly they didn't have. I also should not be charged any extra gas per your mpg guidance on the uhaul site. Their additional charges on top of my 2 gallons would imply that I drove 40 miles instead of 13. I also shouldn't have to drive trucks around to other facilities and take up extra time. This headache is on top of the truck and the attendant smelling very bad. And when I and other uhaul customers were trying to handle business they kept taking other customers who were buying cigarettes and other items at the gas station, taking up more time and also talking amongst themselves. It was extremely rude. After inquiring again they offered to refund me for the dolly (which should have already happened) and $5 of the $10 for the gas. I said okay and walked out as I already had been there for probably 30 minutes attempting this return and anything less than a full refund for the gas I planned to discuss with customer service. Email has not come with any updated receipt, even for what they said they were doing. In any case it should not be a negotiation to refund the dolly they never provided and either they have very weak pumps or your mpg guidance as a company is incorrect. I will not use these non uhaul sites any longer and most likely will check other companies outside of uhaul as my customer service chat inquiries have not been responded to twice when these non uhaul sites haven't had dollys and I didn't get the refund. What is the point of planning to not have to lift things without dollys and renting with your company only to have excuses but still be charged? What is the point of having to ask repeatedly for a refund for something I didn't get.MENSAH A.

The truck needs servicing. It was a very rough ride especially when accelerating and decelerating. Additionally, the location did not record the correct mileage out number and over charged me. When I called they were rude and told me I didn't do something right. The entire process was digital and I answered and corrected the information provided as requested. It is unacceptable that the information I uploaded was not reflected on my contract - especially when there is not paper copy. I expect a resolution to this issue promptly. I have been on hold for more than 25 minutes waiting for corporate customer service. This is an extremely poor experience .ELIZABETH J.

Padma the manager was very rude when I tried to explain that the pick up location put notes into the uhaul system regarding the rental truck not having AC for the entire trip. Padma would not listen to a word I had talking over me and cutting me off. She told me that she could not do anything and did not see any notes after I confirmed with the pick up location that the notes were in the system. I will never be using this location again as this is the second time I have had to deal with her and her rentals.Joshua H.

I returned the truck with the needle on full & the ExxonMobil station/Uhaul required that I add another gallon (I guess to be overfull???) Then they required that I sweep out the two pieces of paper & minimal dust. . .which was there when I got it. The before rent did not give me the opportunity to take a pic of the back (because that would have shown that it looked EXACTLY like that when I picked it up. The overall attitude of the dealer was VERY different when my African American male friend dropped it off then they were when I (a white female) picked it up. They were petty & rude & obviously trying to make additional money (i.e. the threats of huge additional charges of he didn't comply). I will NEVER use this location again. My friend us a professional mover that was doing ne a favor but uses UHAUL all the time & has NEVER been treated like this before.CHRISTINE F.

Easy process getting the keys to the truck; and I love that the UHaul location is at the gas station so it was so easy to refill the tank. I had a very bad experience with a lady who had an accent from India. She threatened not to rent me the truck after I asked her to read the terms of my reservation, which I received by email on the day I reserved the truck. The email says that I should return the truck by 10:30pm. The lady asked that I return it by 8PM. I would not recommend any customer to deal with this lady.Theodore B.

POOR customer service!! Vehicle mileage and gas was wrong on contract. Owner disregarded the concern stating she was home with her family and unable to assist. Warning lights were on and oil change was nearly 10k miles pass due. Poor communication and a total ignorant stance regarding customer engagement. ALWAYS check your mileage and gas in comparison to the contract!! It was off by nearly 100 miles!!PAMELA S.
There were problems with the reservation in the computer. I had made the reservation online and it seemed like it was all good but when I arrived for pickup the computer system had incomplete information and I had to spend anther 15 minutes to straighten it out.
