I opted out of the 20' because you showed a 15' so close to my house. I booked this truck with a dolly two weeks in advance. I received a call the night before pick up and was told the location changed and pick-up was now 20 miles away instead of 3. I was told 20 miles would be added, although, the lady verbally told me an incorrect number. She also mentioned nothing about the dolly so I assumed it would be there. Wrong the gas station I picked up did not have a dolly and the lady also said I would not be getting 20 extra miles. Then I call Uhaul and they state my order did not show a dolly although it clearly is shown in my email. She then told me I'd have to drive an additional 10 miles to the closest dolly. I was awarded 30 miles so this made up for it. I also accidentally overfilled the tank by about $40 worth and I can prove this through the photos I took of when I filled up the gas and when I returned the Uhaul. Due to my inconvenience, I would appreciate a refund of $40 to cover the extra gas I added in the Uhaul for the company.

Truck had small amount of trash from previous rental. Oil light indicated low oil level. Online damage check was stuck in uploading mode. When I brought this to his attention he said “nothing I can do about that.” Had to add 2 qts. of oil on my own. Returned the truck after hours but they called me looking for the truck instead of checking their lot.

App required I filter every tie to find order. Arrived w/24/7 web order, but app required in person check in. I then had to wait to store opened. I ordered reserved blankets...store had zero and did not contact me to advise me. Truck had battery and oil light on entire time. One of the most stressful days of my life...I payed full retail, but had a horrible experience. --matt

asked for drop off location and could not give me any info. Advised to call corporate line to get assistance. Called 12 times for a total of 3 1/2 hours to get through on hold. Rep could not give me any drop off location for trailer. Hung up called bacj k another 5 times and finally got someone who could help. He said no drop off locations near me. I checked and found several in the area but he was unwilling to call. I finally got a hold of someone at the location I dropped it off and they advise the customer service # should have done this for me. So i wasted over 5 hours trying to return a trailer 15 minutes from where I was. WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN and will not recommend anyone from using your company Horrible customer service.

Allow for more rental and drop offs from/at this location. I relocated to Dunkirk for work, I have rented multiple trucks and each time you online reservations did not allow me to drop the truck at this location. The closest option was 20+ miles away. It was very inconvenient. I do not understand why I cannot drop a truck in the very town I am relocating to.

Dropping off was awesome. The lady was very helpful. The system wasn't working correctly snd I was in a rush to get somewhere so she wrote down the time I dropped it off. Figured that was that. But she called me to let me know it was fixed, and my total. Was not expecting her to go that extra step!! Kudos to her and for the great job she did!!

Two vehicles in site, inside had animal hair and pet smeared glass, no blankets I had ordered. I think you would do well to not allow this to be a UHaul site.

They didn't help me hook up the equipment in any capacity, so had to try to figure it out myself, and as a result almost had an accident where the trailer fell off the hitch. Would be good to at least provide initial assistance with making sure the equipment is set up safely.

There was no one at the location to help me hook up the equipment I had to fight to lift the tongue up find a scrap piece of wood in the woods to prop it up and back my truck up eight times to get the ball in the right location. I would have cancelled the rental if I hadn't of needed it right then and gone somewhere where they have customer service and help !! This location should. It be representing UHaul

The help provided at this location was pretty bad. I asked the clerk whether or not the trailer had electron brakes to determine if I needed additional electrical hookups. He was clueless and seemed bothered by my question. I finally got him to walk out to the trailer as I thought maybe that would make a light go off in his head. No Luck. I finally realized that the trailer had a brake that would be activated if the trailer became detached from the truck. When I asked him what the thing on the front of the trailer was, I was told it was a shock absorber.

The equipment that was selected online wasn't all there but to be honest that turned out to be a benefit as I didn't need one piece so I saved money. At first the employee seemed annoyed that I was asking questions but ultimately they got me what I needed and the record was correct (only being charged for what I used). I would use this place again.

I made a reservation for 8am. I go there and I'm told the lady who handles rentals isn't coming til 9am. I waited around til 9 and the cashier said he called her and she's still at home. They ended up taking care of it without her. The tank was less than 3/4 full in the truck. I barely drive it but put $20 in the tank and returned it. I now see that I've been charged $93 somehow. The whole experience was a total joke and I'd like to be forwarded a receipt so I can see how I'm being charged $93. They couldn't give me one at the location for some reason. If it's for fuel I'm going to go in there and demand it be taken off my bill. How in the hell does someone make a reservation for 8 and can't be given a key til 9:15?

They seemed surprised I was bring a truck back. Did not do a fall walk around vechle to inspect for damages. Did not could returned pads. Was not able to resolve a billing question and I had to call U-Haul. People were very friendly.

This experience was terrible overall. The uhaul itself was fine, but the check out and check in process was miserable!!! First, when i resereved the truck i reserved it for the Dunkirk location. Then I got a call that they couldn't do it there and they asked us to switch it to the owings location. THEN i got an email that sent me a confirmation for a third location in hungtingtown! So after switching the location 3 times, I get another notification on my phone saying that the car was now available for pickup at the dunkirk location. Talk about giving the run around! It got worse from there. I reserved a furniture dolly and another dolly. When we went to pick it up, they did not have any of the dollys I paid for. My husband had to argue with them to get the dollys and finally did. When we get home, we notice they gave us the WRONG dollys. We needed the furniture one, not the appliance one! So we had to make due lugging furniture with a dolly that wasn't equipped for the task which made things so difficult. But still it gets worse...when we go to turn in our truck after hours through the app, the app requires us to padlock the dollys in the back of the truck...except we were never provided a padlock! It was after hours so no one was there to help. We couldn't just leave it in the truck unlocked because if it was stolen we would be held liable for hundreds of dollars! It took us an hour of holding on the phone line to get a hold of customer service who finally told us to just stick it in the front seat and lock it there. There were no instructions on where to drop off the keys, took forever to find the dropbox. Overall the customer service and experience was terrible from start to finish! I HATED it and wish I could get my money back for the dolly they never provided that I paid for.

We were supposed to given a 10% military discount. When we returned the truck the computer system was down. The rep siad he will email us the recipt. When we got the reciept he forgot to honor the military discount. When we called asking them to update the invoice to reflect the discount he said he could not but to call coorperate to get them to fix it. We called corporate twice on 25 July and waited for over 30 on hold until the U-haul line abruptly disconnected us after telling us to call back at slower time. Not happy at all with the customer service. The $98.00 truck ended up costing us over $250 after mileage was added in. Will not rent from u-haul again to pick up furniture locally. but the check out person was having computer problems

No ac in the truck which really sucked. It had some garbage under the set, had a cup between the cab and box little things they missed. Lady cashier was rude. There a was a longer hair guy there both days and he rang me in and out which was great. If it wasnt for him the experience would have been even more horrible.
