Check in & check out was amazing. Kudos to the staff. But, the exterior of the trailer was incredibly dirty.

The vehicle seemed to have issues, besides the good size dents, the brakes always squealed, not just when they were warm, sounded like metal on metal. Transmission seemed like it was slipping, I haven’t driven a gas motor, with over 167k miles on it, much less a rental truck that gets all kinds of abuse, might be time to upgrade

The 20 foot truck was not at the designated pick up location. This screw up required me to drive an extra two hours on a moving day. The U-haul person found a smaller (16') truck 50 miles away in Thornton CO. What a mess. A word of advice. Call to verify that the equipment is where Uhaul says it will be. Also I was not impressed with the Uhaul guarantee. They offered a $50 credit. That does not even begin to cover the cost of wasted gas and time.

We swept the truck thoroughly and got charged $20 for cleaning. I called them up and they said they had to mop it because it was muddy!!!! We hauled wood fences and don’t see how it got muddy on a nice sunny day.

The staff was more than helpful maneuvering the truck and trailer into place and then removing the trailer for us. They went over the inspection before leaving. They got the truck ready and into position for me to be able to easily leave the lot after getting the trailers off our 20 and 26 foot trucks. From what I witnessed from another customer dropping off their truck, it looked smooth and seamless. Looking forward to an easy truck drop off.

Truck was not available at 7 am time as agreed. 1. 1800 number claimed supplier did not prepare the truck 2. The supplier said 1800 used my truck that was already prepared for someone else the night before. I lost two hours of my moving time with movers due to your system gave my truck to someone else. I’m not happy!

While clean, the 26' truck we rented had a major issue with the bumper that came apart while driving on the highway. It did not cause any issues, and we did address it at drop off in Tacoma. We unfortunately did not take pictures of it. This was very concerning.

I want to thank Thornton for their great service. I was late in picking up my trailer and the staff were kind enough to wait for me even after closing. Likewise, I was late in dropping off the trailer and they gave me the gate code to be able to drop it off after hours. Thanks you!

Very tough to park where I was told to, when I returned the van. The signs clearly state that parking is for U-Haul customers only, but I have a feeling the residents in the apartment complex are using those spaces. There was one space at the end that I was able to squeeze the van into. Overall, the van was clean and easy and very efficient for us to use!

Friendly and quick service. I do not like the pre-installed dolly and pads. I did not order them but they come in the truck “just in case”. I know the goal is as an add on charge ( break the seal to use then get charged) but this was very inconvenient. I was moving large couches. They had to be in the back because they needed to be offloaded first and only fit sideways. The equipment I did not need or order was in the way. I had my own dolly and pads so now I am hauling twice the equipment. Next time I need a truck, if this cannot be removed, I will rent elsewhere. Otherwise the rental and return was easy.

Trailer was clean, but obviously old & hard-used. Had dents everywhere, including a bent tailgate & securing pin. Worked fine to haul a palette of stone, but was not a good advert for U-Haul.

Don’t like how you treat your customers! God forbid something happens and your late. Not only do you still pay late charges but also threaten you to get it back because they had it rented out. You don’t even ask if you were okay! You don’t care. When we brought the trailer back 2 hours late! You still had 5 technically we had it for the next day we paid for it! But still threaten my wife with consequences if we didn’t get it back Now! No I will not recommend you to anybody!!!!

There wasn’t much parking and I had to drive twice as far to pick up my rental when my original email said I could go to the nearby facility in the town I was living. Also, my vehicle was so low on oil that i had to put 3 qts of oil in and the inside of the van had a water leak to where my dresser received water damage along with wet boxes. Not impressed!

I rented a 6 X 12 open trailer. The trailer came equipped with hydraulic brakes activated by a tongue mounted master cylinder. When empty, the trailer is almost un-towable do to brake lockup. A functional brake lockout should be provided for towing the trailer whilst empty.

Have the equipment promised available. After going to the location we reserved at, we were sent to a different location because the truck we had reserved and were guaranteed wasn't available, The new location didn't have the truck either, so we had to take a smaller one.

I had issues with Uhaul customer service. The location where I picked the truck up was very good, accommodating, etc, but Uhaul itself really screwed me. I wasn’t supposed to pick up my reserved truck at this location anyways, rather at a location an hour away (an hour closer to my house). While the man at the Thornton office was able to help me right things (a little bit) in the end, it took hours on hold with Uhaul over multiple days and many many calls, not to mention mean CS representatives, to just go in a loop that lead back to him, and he wasn’t the person who messed things up to start with. Uhaul needs to work on customer service and fix the “system” that every store owner I talked to (since I had to go to multiple stores) mentioned was “acting up”

I paid for the extra insurance. When I picked up the truck they said there was no need to do an inspection of the truck since any damage would be covered by the insurance. When I returned the truck they said I had new damage. They then charged me $55.00 for the damage because they said it wasn't covered by the insurance. I know for a fact that I DID NOT cause the damage in question. Why do I pay for insurance if they don't honor a claim. I have used U-Haul many times and have never been disappointed with your service,until now.

This location charged us hundreds of dollars with no notice, or receipt. Promised to help us and then left us to deal with customer service for 2 weeks now with no actual help or compensation. Was told we should have screenshotted our experience ordering the Uhaul incase anything like this were to happen. This company is unproffesional and out to scam people.Never going through Uhaul again.
