Not an easy place to return a car transport

Kathryn LThey don't answer the phone, there is no were to park. Not helpful at all. Hours of operation is suppose to be 10-4. I called probably 30 times and no answer.
RAQUEL AMake sure truck is not blocked in by other rentals.
Deborah BI was overcharged for the rental. I was charged for 2 dollies, 2 packs of blankets and 2 day rental. The rental was returned the same day. I only requested 1 dolly. We only had 1 dolly. We only had 6 blankets.

Enestine MRental location had a menu to buy marijuana, entire transaction was handled with a. Phone to an offsite agent by an attendant and the phone was being passed back and forth. Had to search for agent several times. Truck has been smoked in and smelled foul. Alignment was off and steering wheel had to be turned aprox 15 degrees to drive straight. Nothing about contract was communicated

Pamela BThere should be someone in the shop that actually handles the business and paperwork right there. The guy has to call a woman who takes your info over the phone which I personally dislike but I needed the equipment. I would also suggest making a reservation.
Angeline GTruck was dirty, nobody was there when I returned it and I was charged 20.00 for returning after hours, there was no drop box for keys so I had to leave it in the truck!

Richard JI could not complete my reservation on line. I dropped trailer at different location, so if web site allowed me to complete reservation, I would have been aware that the price doubles.
Charles ETire on trailer was extremely low on air location had no air compressor so had to pull trailer to service station to get tire aired up.
Eddie RIn the rental agreement I was to drop off the trailer at 8:30 am. I was there and found out they don't open until 10:00. When I called U-Haul they said to just drop the trailer but there is no jack on the tongue. They hooked it up with a portable jack and said the people at the drop off point would unhook it. When the people at Thelma's arrived they looked at it and said how are we supposed to get it off ! I could not believe what I was hearing. The two men walked off, started with their chores and left me sitting there. It was a nightmare! When they decided to help me, the bigger guy got in the back of the trailer and jumped while the other guy, while mumbling about his back lifts up on tongue and I pulled forward ! I would not recommend this place because they don't know their equipment nor do they have the proper tools to do their job.
Bryan CThe reservation was originally in Estill,SC. Even with a week in advance reservation, the Estill, SC location did not have the rental (dolly) that I had reserved. Lady there said it had probably been rented out. When I asked how that could be, when I had a reservation? She responded that it was “first come first serve”, and that she couldn’t help me. After some hassle on phone, was able to get a trailer they had at the Hampton location. While the folks at the Hampton location were helpful, everything else from the reservation process, to the lack of honoring my reservation in Estill, was a major hassle. I will only use Uhaul again if there is absolutely no other option. Very disappointing.

Darrell DMy pick up time was scheduled for 10am. There was no one there at this time so I called the number on the door. A lady showed up briefly then left to get her son to move trucks. While I was waiting another couple showed up and was then helped ahead of me. Did not get to leave with the truck till after 11am. The windshield was dirty from being parked under oak trees and the tires look low. On the upside the personal was friendly.
Terry BI would like a refund to my prepaid debit card. I was unaware of that UHual did not accept prepaid cards and paid online. I had to cancel the first reservation and use a different card to complete another reservation. I did not like a refund for the order that was canceled.
Joaquin WIt took almost 3 weeks before I was charged. Surely you can see where my concern was with having had my card number held for so long. Not very trustworthy in my opinion, but the customer service was great throughout the process. Just need to charge the customer immediately after returning the truck and not 3 weeks later.
Tanika WI arrived 5 minutes prior to the appointment, wated 15 minutes then had to call to get someone to come open the place up. Waited another 15 minutes for service. VERY dirty place.
Eric GTheir service is very slack.. my pick up Appt was 11:00 and no one was there. I called and spoke with the guy and he said he will be there in 7 mins.. it was more than 20 mins when he got there.. then they charged me over than what my receipt on the contract said

Geoge FI paid for the truck for 2 days and 350 miles , only use the truck for one day and 30 miles . I was charged for 569 miles and for the extra day I didn't used the truck . I was charge $702.99 . I will never refer a friend, family or a evil to uhaul . I am getting the run around about my money
James RRefrain from overcharging. I reserved the truck for one day but was initially charged for two. Also I declined the insurance but was was billed $14.00 for insurance (Safemove). After I complained the charge for the extra day was removed, however, I was charged for the $14.00 even though. Now this location's phone is out of order and I cannot reach them.

Verna WThey didn’t show up At pickup point as planed and wouldn’t come after they finally answered phone. I had to hook it up myself really not sure if it was safe and clean it off. When I got to my house and opened trailer it had a bunch of trash in back. I also didn’t receive dolly and blankets I ordered. When I arrived at destination They wouldn’t take u haul because they were full. Had to go to different location. The entire rental was a joke and I should be fully reimbursed for charges. Will never use u haul again and will tell others about my experience.

Scott SThe location was supposed to be open, the number I was given was disconnected and it took awhile to get in touch with the person in charge. Once I finally did she was more than pleasant and very helpful. Her contact information just needs to be updated and there should be a warning that she is not in her office just because it does technically say she open for business hours.
grace mHave everything in place. I was suppose to put up my truck at 6am and didn't get it until after 8am. The picture that was taken to locate truck must be was old. The truck that I was assigned to was right behind the building they had to move to other trucks to get to it. The picture that was taken to locate the key must be was old as well because it wasn't there also. I had to call dispatch which called the owner of this location and the owner stated that she lived right down the street from the build and she would be right there but it took 45mins for them to get there. Over all the service was really poor.

JOHN YI could not get the location on the phone. They were not there when I arrived early but they did arrive to open at 1615. They did not know how to put the trailer on the ball and I had to do it for them. They need more training
Bryan SPerson to be there, have some supplies, and give you paperwork before you leave with the truck. The wrong amount of fuel and mileage was charged me. This location is terrible!
christine gThis local gem is always great to go to for uhaul services. At drop off they were closed but the phone number on the store is always available. We had no issues.
