The truck clearly needed to be vacuumed and wiped down. Also, the mobile check-in process was a nightmare at this location. The directions were trying to guide me through the gate to get to the truck(which the code didn't work anyways). The chat function in the app did not help my issue. But, there were clearly trucks parked outside of the gate and key boxes on the outside as well. I had to call a different UHaul place for them to transfer me to receive help and the correct instructions. I will now only rent a truck from the Chippewa location, not the Beaver Falls or Monaca location.
Gennifer DTried to charge for mud on tire and a receipt from a previous customer. Def charged for gas when I have photos of the gas at pickup and drop off.

I was very disappointed in finding a lot of my stuff damaged by rodents. you would think a storage place of this size and caliber would have regular treatments to keep this from happening. also, id expect the place would have been better protected from moisture damage several very expensive stereo pieces were damaged by moisture.I found this out a couple of weeks after moving out so I doubt I can even put in a claim. shame I trusted this place for 5 years to keep my stuff safe.

Mollie MThe back of the truck had to be swept out of things including USED MASKS! Also in the front cab, candy(skittles) had to be swept out! Otherwise it was a very nice easy experience and the person I dealt with in the office was very friendly and helpful. I would certainly use them again!

Linda LOn a prior trailer rental at a different place, the U-Haul Rep personally attached the trailer and worked with me to confirm all lights were operational. At this facility, while the agent was very friendly, I was directed to drive to the back of the lot and hook it up myself. I was lucky that I knew what I was doing, could properly attach it and test the light functions. I was surprised that this facility allowed/required customers to attach trailers themselves and based on my previous experience, wonder if that's against U-Haul policy.
Ron Thad trouble locating vehicle I needed. called chippewa office, they didn't have one, called another location and they were out of vehicles. had to call monaca pa phone number they located the vehicle at the beaver falls Vault office. would make it easier if Chippewa office had that information right away. Nothing against the Chippewa office because they did me a great favor on my previous rental. I showed up as they were walking out the door, went back in to rent me a truck. forever grateful for that and thats why I called them first.

justin sIts confusing on how to enter, the inside looks run down. I returned the truck with the amount of gas they gave it to me with and I was still charged for 5.5 gallons. Seriously??? HORRIBLE representation for Uhaul. Once you are through the gate it looks like more of a junk yard that a rental place

tawnna cI booked online and the location changed without my knowledge , i had to take uber for 40 dollars to new location , i went to it no one was there i had to call a number so the door can open and people wbo works doesnt rly know what are they doin! I got charged twice and i called and understood why is the difference abd i asked how to pay she said on the phone that it will be taken from my card when i put money in it and i did but they didnt take the oayment and charged me late fee !

Raeann DInform clients of extra fees for cleaning before rental. And to notify them that the rental contract is needed during drop-off. Fix the system so clients are not waiting around for their rental and rental contract for almost 45 minutes. Better truck maintenance for mileage.

Craig MI had to wait longer than it should have taken, as the person that helped me with picking up my reservation hadn't done it before. The office I was in to do the paperwork for the rental was musty smelling and didn't smell to good, and I coudn't wait to get out of there!
Peter SExcellent service. When I booked on the U Haul web site they were forcing me to return to a UHaul way out of my way. I picked drop off anywhere and dropped off at this site. Which was 5 minutes from my move. The rep was very helpful and took care of everything . Message to UHaul corporate: work with customers- do not make them drop off rentals at places most convenient for U Haul!

Rex AI was supposed to pick up at 8am at a different location. Uhaul changed my pick up to vault storage which doesn't open until 10am. I stood in front of this location for 1 hour until their employee decided to show up for work that day. After which the truck was not ready to go, I had to clean all the snow off and I had to hook up the trailer. Anytime I've ever picked up a U-Haul, the truck was hooked up to the trailer and ready to go. I was supposed to start my long day of moving at 8:30am but because of U-Haul and The Vault Storage's major screw up, I didn't get started until almost 12:00. Worst experience ever. Will not be using U-Haul or this storage location ever again and will make sure everyone else knows never to use these companies.

jeff bI would never recommend uhaul to anyone. I reserved a truck weeks in advance only to show up to the first location which was not open on time. After nearly an hour of waiting the truck did not start. 30 minutes later they found another truck 25 miles away and through several tolls. Not only did I have to drive past my moving location and back with the truck and incur those tolls. My other vehicle had to incur these costs and gas. This caused my move to be delayed 3 hours with paid workers having nothing to do. Uhaul issues a $75 credit which does not nearly reimburse me for my added costs and time. That is a joke. I am moving again in 1 month and will not even consider uhaul for this.

Jay MPicked up in Beaver Falls,Pa. Returned to the Ellwood City, Pa location.Get ur story straight U-Haul! I was TOLD it was Ok! I don't like being threatened...with a lawsuit if I didn't return it. It was overall a negative experience. Had appt 4 pick-up at 10am. Computer problems...No receipt. Trailor still attached. Left after 1105. And then a message the next day. I'm tired of being nice! I will never get a U-Haul again. Cost me time and money!!
