Truck still had debris in the back of it from the previous renter, gate was open when I drove off with the unit. There were no moving blankets in the bag in the back and the hand dolly had no security seal, just glad I didn't get charged for them. Took photos of condition of rear inside once I got home to document the condition so I wouldn't be charged for the missing blankets or the missing security seal on the hand truck.STEPHEN G.

The business establishment is disgusting & very unprofessional & rude!!!! They also tried to charge my credit card over what my fees are because I received a notification from my credit card company that they denied their 1st transaction!! Then they ran the final fee of $42 & some change that was approved!!! I will be calling them & asking what they tried to place on my card but I don't appreciate them trying to add anymore charges than what I purchased. I have rented from UHaul several years & NEVER had any suspicious fees added until now!! This business establishment is bit to be trusted & if I wasn't in the jam I was in, I would have walked out as soon as I walked in!!! This isn't a good look on such a well known company as UHaul cause I will never use them again or recommend them!!! Im EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED & ANGRYMarcus O.

The store claimed to open at 9 and I had a 10 reservation, they didn't open until 10:15. When the store runner arrived, she made no apology for making us wait when we were in a rush. Thank God we didn't have an earlier appointment, this was unacceptableKyi O.

I was quoted a package including 109 miles and any additional miles over that I would be charged $0.40 per mile. So please tell me why my invoice states that I was 1. Charged for the 240 miles when I should have only been charged for the additional 131 miles. 2. I was a higher rate ($0.69) than I agreed to. 3. Everything about this location seemed shady. The location wasn't good, parking was bad, the interior of the building was cramped and filled with gambling machines. The staff was rude both in person and on the phone. Equipment we put down on our rental wasn't available and the staff made it sound like it was our fault that's what we requested. The truck was dirty on the inside of the cargo area. The staff also tried to charge us for fuel that was not in the truck when we picked it up. We made sure to put the same amount of fuel back in the truck as it was when we were issued the truck. Will never rent from this location again nor will we recommend it to anyone.Jill Nathan P.

It would have been super cool if the twin axle trailer that I rented had a jack. I acknowledge that the presence of a jack increases the risk of damage to equipment from drivers neglecting to fully stow the jack before moving the trailer. Totally worth it to me. It is wholly impractical to disconnect the loaded trailer from the tow vehicle as the trailer is currently configured. The Trading Post lady was great.Eric W.

Make the customer aware they are not renting by the day but by the segment. I did not know I was set to the 6 hours I approximated it would take. Thought I had a 24 hour period. Guess I should have read the fine print if there was any. The location and vehicle were great but I went past my 6 hour approximatatiin and was charged twice. Truck wasn't swept out when rented. Also, this wasn't the location I reserved and it was changed without notifying me. Caused me to use more miles than I budgeted. Lady lowered mikeage to .69 per mile but it still ended up over budget. The attitude of the scheduling lady was disgusting and her attitude is the primary reason we wont ever again choose Uhaul.Mildred D.

We wanted a 17' truck. I reserved a 17' truck. I specifically chose this location because the website said a 17' truck was available. When we got there, there was only a 15' truck. The location was very nice, and the people were great, but I was disappointed that the truck I needed wasn't available after searching for that specific length.Jonathan K.

Let people know ahead of time that you reserved a pick up of 7.00 am and come to find out they do not open till 9.00am . They changed my pick up 1 day before . It took me 1 hr to call customer service and then to find out to download a app to keys left under seat , Then another 15 minutes taking pictures in the coldmario M.

We were suppose to be able to pick up @U-Haul Moving and storage of Fayetteville at coliseum. I was called on by an employee of that location on Friday evening and told my equipment was on the lot and ready for me to pick up on Saturday. Then on Saturday we were called before we checked out of our hotel and told we would have to go to a location called the Trading Post to pick up the equipment. The trading post closed at 1pm on Saturday, I tried to get someone from the Colliseum location to go pick up the equipment for me and they would not. I called Patti at the Trading Post and she agreeded to wait for us, she didn't have to but she did. I asked both the employee from the Colliseum location and Patti at the trading post how we were to go about getting the $50 credit because our equipment was not where it was suppose to be for our pick up and they both said that when I turn it in I would get that credit. When I turned it in the woman tried to say I was late and when we got that sorted out she said she credited the $50 back to my account, but I have checked my Discover card every day and its not on there. Now I can find no one at UHaul who is willing to help me and willing to stand by their guranteeSamuel G.

I was under the impression that a rental is for a 24-hour period, not a 6 hour period. I ended up needing the vehicle an extra day, which in turn meant I paid for 3 days of rental instead of 2. Also, the driver side mirror was broken and made it difficult to use.donnie P.
Your trailer was not water tight and while I was on my trip it leaked all over my stuff and damaged over $2000 worth of my personal property including an original Italian poster for The Good The Bad and The Ugly worth $500. When asked if i could use the worthless insurance i purchased (when at the time they told me would cover everything) to cover the damaged items they simply said no. I will never use U-Haul ever again for the rest of my life after the ordeal you put me through but not only that I'm going to tell everyone about my awful experience and tell all my friends never to use U-Haul. I will go on Twitter and Facebook and just bash U-Haul any chance i get for its overwhelmingly unapologetic behavior and push so much business to Budget Rental.kevin G.
