ANGLEA ANDERSONThere was not enough room to return trailer into a slot so I left it to the side of the lot and I was charged a fee. The lady who answered the phone sounded like she just smoked a bunch of meth and was charging me a fee for it. The guy that checked us out was cool as hell though, he wasn’t there when we returned it unfortunately.

My original reservation was to p/u in Napa but there were no trucks available, not sure if we were going to make it by 5pm we checked in on line and then we did not receive anything on how to retrieve our key I made many calls to the call center they did help but to have to make 5 calls and then I was to receive a $70.00 credit for the trouble and that never happened. Not sure I would rent from U-Haul in the future after what I went through..

manuel ballescaFor the distance I traveled it was a real pain not to have cruise control. Past trucks I have rented had cruise control and a lock for the roll-up door. This one had neither, and I could not buy a lock at this location.

Athanasios KapernekasHad a reservation months in advance when it came down to the wire uhaul called me over 8x times shuffled us around, shortage of trucks. We ended up getting placed here at american canyon rental place. It was a total nightmare. I had to pick it up before they were open so the technician failed to update my pickup time so i had to waste hours on the phone at 5-6am to fix the mistake. The key for the truck was inaccessible due to a faulty lock. More wasted time. The truck was disgusting inside covered in soda and bug splatter. Not to mention THERE WAS NO GAS IN IT. It caused major delays starting my move and the friends who were going to help me unload from an upstairs unit had to leave go to work. So i had to do most of my move BY MYSELF. Major frustration. I even called uhaul a week before to make sure everything was smooth but they had truck shortages. My truck was a gas hog and the vacuum switch kept making the vent &a/c only work on my feet so it got hot
Brian McdonaldThe staff were incredible. Carter, especially. They resolved a massive issue that the Customer Service number/team left me with: I had a one-way motorcycle trailer reserved for Elk Grove. Customer service moved me to Stockton (which was not convenient for me.) I called and had it moved to American Canyon. The representative on the phone, after my persistent asking, confirmed it was indeed one way (would be dropped off in San Francisco), it was indeed a motorcycle trailer (with a front wheel chock), and that it was going to be available at American Canyon. Upon arriving, I learned none of the above was true. Carter said the only motorcycle trailer they had needed to be returned to the American Canyon location. There was no way I was about to make that trip twice, so he met me halfway between SF and American Canyon and picked the trailer up from me. If he's eligible for a bonus or some kind of formal reward, please give it to him. If it weren't for his actions, I'd never have used UHAUL again.

The new owners are incredibly talented in providing the best customer service possibly available. The coffee and the Halloween treats were perfect. Great job Rabonnie and Sanata. Douglas SauderWhen we dropped off the truck the person working at the desk was named john. We were told to bring the car back with a quarter tank. When I picked it up it was on an 1/8th of a tank so I was told that uhaul would pay us if you brought it back on a quarter of a tank which we did when we turned it in we were given our mileage but never shown the starting mileage so we're not even sure we were charged proper mileage because the dude in there was such an inappropriate representation for U-Haul he insulted us and cussed at us and it's on if the audio and video if the audio and video are being recorded like it says it is then it should be on video between 3:30 and 4:00 on the date of return he actually said to my boyfriend when we are arguing we didn't really argue about the truck being on a quarter tank but he said he was giving us a gift by marking it at a quarter but it was already at a quarter and I made sure of that because when we put gas in it it was across the street or down the street rather, from you guys and I made sure that it was over a quarter of tank because we were driving it there and when we got there and we looked at the tank and it was exactly on a quarter of a tank he told us it was not at a quarter of a tank and continued to argue with us and laugh at us about it and said you guys are arguing with me about a gift I'm giving you and then my boyfriend because I asked him to went outside to check the meter and he said it's directly on a quarter of a tank and so when he came back and told John that John said you better learn something boy it's not on a quarter of a tank and then proceeded to call him a dumbass and then told us he was going to call the police on us for refusing to pay which was not the truth he hadn't even told us what we owed yet for us to be able to refuse it. that was kind of crazy so I told him nobody's refusing to pay I just need to know what we owe you and so he told us that we had put 300 and something miles on the truck which was not the truth and we didn't even drive the truck the second day we had it it parkeded at one place never driven so and then the next night my boyfriend went to San Francisco and back and that was not 300 miles so I feel like we got screwed on the money we had to come out of pocket for a lot and then be treated like s*** by your employee which I don't think was very good at all and I demand that somebody do something about that we are good customers and he was a terrible terrible person and he was actually training a new person who actually looked quite embarrassed by his superiors behavior
