The 24/7 Pickup needs someone to think it through in the real world. I was delayed 25 extra minutes while resolving an issue with the "alternate contact". I took my picture, the picture of my Driver's License and the next step was to Locate the Truck. We did that. I clicked continue, where it asked for an Alternate Contact, so I gave them the name and number of the person with me. We then got out of our car to look the truck over. He left his phone in the car while we walked around the truck. Likita, from UHaul, tried to call him, we missed the call. I get notified on the app. We go back to the car, see the missed call. I think "no big deal" I will just re-enter his information in the alternate contact fields and wait in the car for the call back. No such luck, I can't re-enter his info because it is now "already in the contract". I opened a chat and about 15 minutes later Likita tried again, my buddy answered and we were "approved" to take the truck. Seriously, that delay was not necessary. At least warn the customer to wait for the immediate call that is coming so they can warn the alternate contact that it is coming. Bizarre delay.Randall W.

You can have equipment more broadly available. Another vehicle that I'm renting,â€ In Townâ€, I needed to drive 25 miles one way to pick up. That 50 miles shouldn't be passed on to us when you used to be able to rent equipment close to your home. While times are unprecedented with all of the growth in this area, we should be able to expect the same things from a company that have always been done.Julie F.

The original reservation was for a 5x10 trailer for $30. When I got there, they didn't have the enclosed trailer I booked and I chose to go with a 5x8. This came out to $40. I don't understand why a smaller trailer ended up costing more. Seems unprofessional to me. I'll go with budget next time. They always charge what they say.Joshua J.

Give a correct quote. Before I took the truck out I was quoted .69 cent a mile but when I returned the truck I was charged.89 cent a mile. "I'm sorry they changed the rate and I didn't know " I asked if they would honor the original quote and they said "I'm sorry I cant"TROY H.

They did not have the trailer ready to go, the jack they used to hook me up broke and they did not have another one, so it took a while. Then they sent me off with questionable tires on one side and one blew out on the drive which put my life in danger. The person who fixed the tire said he would never rent a trailer with the extensive wear on the tires on the passenger side.Todd S.

The mileage on the truck was different than what was in the system, and so we had to call in to resolve this before we could head out. This caused nearly a 20 minute delay since we were on hold for so long, it would be great if that could be resolved quicker!Brianna R.

I ordered a 20' truck with a 24/7 pickup and it took me almost an hour to get it. They did not set me up for 24/7 pick even though I said it like 10 times. I had to wait for the morning worker to get there just to finish the process. Also called U-Haul support 3-4 times to get it situated.Corey K.

The truck mirrors where corroded and not adjustable. One windshield wiper was torn but neither worked very well. Both are safety issues. The web check in process (outside of regular business hours) took about 45 minutes (very slow). For GPS to understand that you are at the property you need to stand on the front porch. Gps will not acknowledge you are at the facility even when you are sitting in the parking lot.Emily S.

We had a horrible experience dropping off the trailer at Bargain Barn and learned that in future I should just go to a full service Uhaul location. The poor young woman who accepted our return didn't really know what she was doing and had us park the trailer on a grassy area which turned out to be sloped, and when she used a hand-crank lift to get the trailer off the ball of the hitch, the trailer rolled forward and dented the bumper of our less-than-one-month old car. We were so tired from driving and unpacking, it didn't cross our minds to question her.Denise S.

I hate to complain, but I know if I don't say anything nothing can be improved. The person working wasn't properly trained and she was alone when we showed up. We'd made an appointment a few days before and were anxious to get on the road, but she didn't know which trailer we were supposed to take and was up able to help us hook the trailer up (wasn't trained on how the hitches with brakes worked). We were very surprised to find the trailer did not have a jack feature. This was ridiculously troublesome during the entire moving process. I would rent from the location again because I love supporting small local businesses and the people that I came into contact with were incredibly nice and cheerful and were as helpful as they could be. I hope they keep up their positive attitudes; that's how you get repeat customers.JANET W.
The site we rented from was fine but as it turned dark we realized there were no working lights. The person told us we should have checked before we left but we assumed if you rent something it would be in good working condition.
