Left blinker light seemed to be dim and only visible from a certain angle which made transportation semi-difficult with changing lanes, especially in the rain. I walked in the office to drop off and nobody was there so I looked around some more and someone finally came to the office. When greeted, was told that he was gonna tell me to leave at a different spot on the property, with very little room to maneuver, and was told to just leave the trailer. Did not ask for order confirmation or anything and went on my way.
GRANT AI needed the uhaul for a few hours. I did not have any problems getting it and it was easy to turn in. I was happy that the place was close and I would not have to go far to pick it up or return it. Will definitely do business here again!
georgeina dNo info in the app about how to get into the gate. Location was closed. Lots of chains and locks on the gate and metal posts, I finally was able to see how one of the chains was just "tied" up, and I was able to get the gate open. We were exhausted, it would have been nice to know how to get in. This is the only reason I considered the location 'not inviting.' Looks like they had lots of equipment on hand. I'm sure if they had been open, the personnel would have been helpful.

Jay SOlder man at the desk is very rude. I asked for prices he didn't give them to me he just gave me the cheapest U-Haul when I realized he gave me the smallest U-Haul I went back in and asked if we could switch it he said no and so I told him that he did not ask me what size U-Haul I needed and then he tried to argue and said he but that his computer was down so he could not help and that I would have to wait outside and he would tell me when the computer was back up I waited about 10 minutes and went back in to ask if it was up he said no . I told him I needed to return in Houston he did not put that in the computer so when I got over there I had to pay an extra $191. He did not complete the walk through with me to check the truck I did that on my own one of the truck sensors was on for the tires I did go in and let him know he said the tires were fine and to take it.
MICHELLE EAli was helpful, making the experience smooth and easy to rent and return. Definitely rent again, and prefer to anyone who needs u-haul in Texas city.

Maritza MI am a woman and not a weak one so being told that the drive from Texas to Kentucky alone would be too much for me. I found offensive, and condescending. Also the box of the truck was dirty with soil from previous user. The port where you put your charging plug is not working.

brandy mTruck was dirty inside, did not have a full tank of gas. I had to clean it out. Only drove it 15miles and was told at pick up to drop off with a full tank of gas, I had to put in 5 gallons of gas when I only drove 15miles and when I returned it I told them and they said o ok well ur good people thanks. Also I turned it in 40mins before my drop off time then I got 3 calls and a text by 5pm saying that I need to return the truck I'm past my time, told the man twice I already dropped off to him he was confused who he was calling due to no internet. Worst service I have ever had with u haul. Will not ever use this place again.

Wayne SManager of the establishment tried to pull a fast one over on me and my wife to try and get more money out of us by changing our contract without discussing it with us. We payed for a 24 hour use and the establishment changed it so I would be at work at the time he scheduled it to be returned knowing I would not be able to make it.

JOHN KManager or like he would call him self the BOSS was EXTREMELY RUDE ! charge me for an extra day when I delivered the Uhaul on time and once I called him to ask him about the charge he hangs up the phone on me. I Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND this location it gives the Uhaul a bad representation. Honestly he should be fire and they should hire someone more professional and responsible.

Sammy M | Overall ExperienceInside of cab had soda or something spilled in it. Back of truck was never cleaned out from the previous rental. Truck needs to be serviced. The fan belt was screaming when you got to about 55 to 65 mph. One of the reverse lights was out.

Delbert ROwner? Man working was extremely rude and doesn't know how to talk to people. Blamed us for leaving the truck there overnight when he clearly saw my husband pull the truck up in the morning. Very disrespectful to both myself and my husband and we will never use this location again.
Jamie AI was guaranteed a truck at 7pm. The place called and said under no circumstances could I pick up my truck at 7pm even though I was supposed to be able to use my cell phone to pick it up. I had to take off of work and rush to the place because he said I must get there before 5:30 or the gate locks. Why was I offered a 7pm pick-up? I would've gone to another place if I couldn't pick it up then. I shouldn't have to beg to leave work. When I got there the guy was weird and kind of rude. Not a great feeling there. Truck was dirty and he didn't offer a walk over or anything like we usually get.

pete hI moved out of unit #262 in late June! I was billed $70 for July. Thank God my account was overdrawn in August. I got a notification that it was submitted for payment on August 18. Did not get July's $ back. Will never use this site again. TERRIBLE!!!!!
Lawrence H | Overall ExperienceThe trailer had a lock on it. The employee failed to check to see if the trailer was ready for use. Had to use a hammer to try and get the lock open. All this caused a delay on my plans. Please check if there's a lock on the trailer for the next customer.
Jonathan RThe guy is a crook!!! He didn't check in my trailer when I turned it in. Once I brought it to his attention that he actually helped me unhook the trailer, he said he would talk to corporate for a refund. Meanwhile a month later no refund. Also a cramped office the size of a closet, no where to park the trailers, cramped area for navigation of trailer, he actually had to ask cars to move.

THOMAS/karen C | Overall ExperienceI hate to give the rating I did, because I do not blame the location for my problem, but the dispatcher. Got to site, hooked up and the lights on the right side did not work. The owner called whomever is responsible for service (because he had called the day before and they said it had been repaired). They told the owner to replace the wire to/from the trailer to truck, which he did, and that still did not make the lights work. So, he called again and they told me I had to drive to Galveston to get another trailer. I was not happy about having to go to another location, but was told if I wanted a trailer, I had to go to Galveston or to Baytown. The dispatcher said Galveston already had the trailer ready for me and I just needed to drive there and get it. So I went, and the location had no idea who I was or why I was there. My contract was not even in their system. After waiting for over half and hour, someone finally called and said I was an emergency situation and to hook me up and let me go. After a few more minutes, I was hooked up and on the road. I do not blame either location for the 3 hour ordeal I endured to get the trailer, but I am very upset with the dispatcher and traffic and think that they should be better trained in customer service.
Fran SStaff were helpful in getting hitched up - process was pretty easy and expeditious. Only small complaint was the trailer was pretty dirty on the outside - inside was okay. Road grime on hitch components and even back door was pretty bad and required hand washing after touching any external trailer surface. Not too surprising, but could do external wash occasionally to improve this aspect.

AARON HI was denied access to my unit due to on-site tenant blocking the aisle with vehicle. When asking to move the vehicle, was told to walk to my unit. This happened many times over the last 4-5 years. Was told by management to just move out. Compounding the problem recently, as the addition of U-Haul equipment also denied access to many customers.
JENSEN A | Overall ExperienceI arrived to drop off the truck and gates where locked. I called 4 times and no one answered. He finally came out and looked like I was bothering him.
Sharon EThe facility and vehicle were ok, but if you need to drop the vehicle back off after their office closes, you can't. There is no drop box for the key and the one guy working there doesn't tell you this.
