I was moved from one location to another to another and on the day I was supposed to pick up the truck they moved me yet again. It was a total fiasco. The person that they sent me to spoke very poor English and he kept waiting on customers walking in after me and it took about 45 minutes to just check out the truck. Unacceptable since I had made a reservation in advance. I also had requested on my original reservation a 15 ft truck for $19.95 and ended up with a 20 ft truck at $29.95. The whole process was not good and I will probably never use or recommend any use U-Haul.carol B.

The location was an extremely busy small gas station and had only one employee. I was there for about 40 minutes because first he hardly understood the English Language and he will never finish my rental documents because the customers that where coming in inside the gas station will come first. He even never came out to give me the dolly that I rented with the truck. At the end I took the dolly out of the dolly location and left.Juana G.

The location itself was great. However, dealing with the individuals on the phone was the problem. The First Lady I spoke with was great but that last lady was terrible. They sent me to a location to get a truck after I made reservations and that place not only didn't have any trucks but they were closed for that weekend. I called them and then they sent me elsewhere who didn't have any trucks available either. I called again and after speaking with the second lady my head started hurting. I had to change my reservations to a different weekend. It was a whole hot mess! I ended up finding a place my self and just going in to rent a truck for a few hours! Was given the wrong truck , was supposed to be a one way and it wasn't, had to pay double plus the battery died . Very rude and unhelpful associate. Kept having to be told to move and wait so they could take care of the gas station customers in lineBobbie Jo C.

Absolutely terrible, truck was on empty when I picked it up, there were left over clothes in the truck from the previous rental, and I was charged 516.00 for 100miles, and 24 hours. That is outrageous!!!!!Joshua W.
A convince store. With gas pumps where no one could speak or understand English well enough. Messed up our reservation and had to start the process over. We were there 90 minutes waiting. Our reservation was for a 20' truck and appliance dolly. NO appliance dolly. Right rear outside dual had bold spots. And yes, we threw that tire. I am VERY UNHAPPY with uhaul maintaince. This is the second truck I have rented from u haul and the second time they threw a bad tire. YES, U Haul is aware of their because it has been place on an outside dual both times.Tommy H.

The trailers are sitting off pavement in mud and overgrowth, in the dark, no lights , you have back into mud to hook up, and hope you don't sink your vehicle. Even though I did everything online he had to get information, and made me wait he took customers buying beer and cigarettes. There were other employees standing around in back but none of them offered to help. It took over 45 minutes for him to write down a number on a piece of scrap paper and say " this is your number " and hand it to me. No direction, or assistance, or inspection ( which can't be done in the mud, in the dark)Miriam W.

I reserved a truck prior to this one at the same location in which there was a $50 guaranteed for the reservation but the truck was not there. I was told they would not reward me the money saying that the guarantee had nothing to do with available equipment even after customer service was unable to assist me with finding a new vehicle. I asked for Dallas Nebo location when I requested a uhaul truck, I was given this location. I am disappointed in the fact, the truck was not clean, and broke down as soon as I got it, within 5 minutes, it took an hour& half for roadside assistance, I had helpers wanting. I should receive some type of compensation, percentage off, etc. I even had to ask the pump to be turned on to put gas in the truck, I had to go back in the store twice. I wasn't rude or anything like bad attitude. It seems they are too busy for uhaul transactions.DORETHA S.
Yes the truck was free of trash and dirt but someone had strayed the interior of the truck with tire shine. It was slippery and extremely dangerous. I fell twice getting in & out of the truck and was almost in two accidents due to my foot slipping off the brake petal.. I truly did not feel comfortable driving the truck after the near accidents. I called uhaul but did not receive any help from 8-10 people I spoke with about the unsafe conditions. The truck broke down about 10 miles into our trip. Waited on roadside for 3 hours before getting set up with a second truck. Wasted half a day and had to drive further out of our way to pick up the other truck. They left the first Uhaul sitting in the driveway for over 24 hours before having it towed. Well I was told I could gas up at the location but due to the gas shortage there wasn't gas available and then I was charged a gas fee and gas at $4.25 a gallon. So I was billed an extra $55 which i think is unfair considering I pulled up to a pump and it was the locations failure to have gas.Rebecca F.

I have been an uhaul customer for years and use y'all for every move . However my recent experience has tarnished my view on Uhaul as a whole. I was contacted the day prior and informed that my Uhaul was going to be transferred to another location which was okay but when I arrived I could not access my Uhaul. I had to call into the Uhaul regional support center after I was on hold with Customer Service for 30 plus minutes. After speaking to a representative she had to transfer me to another location. Once I arrived to that location that was a gas station I had to wait 45 plus minutes to even get the cashier to look up my Uhaul order. It was very unprofessional. Once he was able to pull up my order I walked out to my uhaul. Once opening the back of the Uhaul I noticed I didn't have the two dollies plus furniture pads that I had paid for. At this point I was furious because I have already been delayed two and a half hours to to relocating my Uhaul. The representative could not speak English and had to call his brother to translate. He then informed me that they only had one small dolly either though I paid for two different types of dollies. Once getting my Uhaul to my old location I noticed the previous renters never cleaned out the back of the Uhaul . It was covered in dirt and broken glass which is dangerous.Shelby S.

due to a training or some technical errors it took the better part of an hour to get the truck. He was unable to log into the system, and finally had to call his manager who did it from her location offsite. So I believe this is simply a training issue, but the site should have better support either a Uhaul tech support number, or something else.John B.

This place should not be a UHAUL distributor because the guy was rude and swore at me and did not apply my discount. I think this place has activity going on which is not for me to never step foot into the store again. Uhaul is really going downhill just letting stores get license to have Uhaul trucks at their location. One person in the store waiting on customers and accepting lottery paying people that's bringing products to the store from the warehouse. Plus he wanted me to go get a dolly and there was a man standing in the back of the store not doing anything very scary where the dollys. I tried to contact Deon more than 10 times but he never return my call now I have a VIP CERTIFICATE I CANT USE BUT I WILL NEVER RENT ANOTHER UHAUL. I hope this doesn't get to the guy was in the store because this could myself and family at risk. I'm not contacting Deon anymore because evidently this job is to much for him or he just getting paid because he's not checking on these place of business. I will be getting in touch with the higher ups because I don't think this store should be handling a company like this. Bad experience as their priority is tobacco, alcohol and lottery tickets. They will help you when they have free time. After rental, I attempted to contact them by the number they furnished to let them know of an issue I was having and would be a couple of hours delay in returning the rental. I called more than 8 times and let the phone ring until it would stop ringing, but no answer. I returned trailer at 7:00pm and it was due back at 3:00 pm. I was charged $40.00 , that is more than the daily rental. Beware of this head shop when you need a U-HAUL rental..... do not go there !Stanley S.
CASE #1927025 -- I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY RESPONSE TO THE COMPLAINT FILED AT DROP OFF ON 8/28/2020. THE TRUCK WAS NEWER AND IN PHYSICALLY GOOD CONDITION BUT A WARNING LIGHT CAME ON 3 TIMES AND COST ME 7 HRS. DELAY TO ME DESTINATION. U-HAUL HAS A RECORD OF THE STOPS FOR SERVICE. Not sure how they got the UHaul store. Smells and sells incense, shady clientele. They also called and said I didn't fill it up right; I started 3/4 and ended 3/4. I told them I had a picture of the mileage and a video of the truck exactly like I got it and said if there's a problem I'd call UHaul customer service. They said oh ok it's all ok. Said they had hand trucks and furniture movers then didn't; luckily Dion Deprill showed up at that exact tim. Mr Deprill was great and if not for him I'd have left and returned the truck elsewhere.Michael P.
