They were very communicative regarding everything going on both in general as well as with a system upgrade that happened to be happening at the same time which affected the actual vendors. A dolly I rented wasn't in the truck and I called right away and because I couldn't come back as the helpers already arrived, I was credited. But the helpers ended up bringing one so it didn't affect the move in any way. I would definitely use again or recommend to someone else. Very professional and helpful.

I was not charged correctly. I booked a day with mileage included. I was charged in some other way including a daycare plus mileage. Over charged by around $50!

RANDEL SYour on line reservations and ability to have all the paperwork done before actually picking up the rental is a total waste of time. When I went to pick up the rental we had to do all of it over again. This made the preregistration a useless step and a loss of time. Your return procedure are not very user friendly and we never received a link to start the process. We rented blanks and there not a return box for them and it rained.
STEPHEN MI was told in person that I had the trailer rental for 24 hours, but when I dropped the trailer off at 6pm that same day (I picked up the rental at 8:45am) I was hit with a $20 "after hours service fee". I unhooked and left in same parking spot as instructed in the morning. Not a fair practice; if I am told I have the rental for up to 24 hours, I can drop it off at any time within those 24 hours with no penalty.
KEITH HThey did not have the furniture pads that I requested in the truck. And the location was closed so I could not get them. I received a call. I halfway through my move with a very rude man on the other end saying that I parked my car in no parking Area and had to come back and move. It would be towed. The sign said no U-Haul parking. It didn't say anything about cars so I assumed you couldn't park a U-Haul truck in that lot. The gentleman was just overall rude.

AARON TThe operator of this location has always given me subpar services. My first time years ago I moved and needed the 26 footer for an extra day so I made the necessary changes online. Minutes later I received a call from this store operator yelling and cursing me out that I was messed up his rentals because he had someone picking it up the next day. This time around he took it upon himself to make changes to my reservation and force me to take 2 rentals from his location. He was very rude and grumpy until I put a stop to it.

JOHN TThis will be the last time we use UHaul. We made a reservation and received a confirmation. The day before the pick up location was changed, 15 miles further away from confirmed location. What's the purpose of reservations and confirmation if UHaul doesn't honor them. We did a 1 way rental with the drop off in Milwaukee. The contract stated an agreed upon drop off location. We arrive at the location listed for drop off only to be told they no longer accept UHaul vehicles. The business honored the drop off only because we had the UHal paperwork. From now on we will find another company for a box truck rentals and will not recommend UHAUL to anyone.

Michael DTruck was not ready for mobile pick up. My truck was sitting with door in back wide open. When owner arrived at 8:30am he stated he could not help until 9am when store opens and I was suppose to pick up at 8am. Suddenly at 8:45 am the truck was ready for mobile pickup and when I went to retrieve the key the key was not in box. Finally the employee not the owner brought the key out to me. The owners attitude was like as a customer I am an inconvenience.
Jeffrey FI would check the tires on the rental before you leave the lot. There was a bald spot on one of them that needed to be replaced. If it wasn't for the extra day that was offered, it would have put me way behind while I waited for the tire repair person to come out and change it.

John OThey charged me for an extra day. The app did not work when I return the truck, so I just dropped the keys in the box per the instruction that the app was giving me. Then, they charged me as if I had held the truck until the next morning. I have chased several times to try to get them to remove the charges on that extra day, but they haven't responded.
ANDREW HKeys weren't in lockbox. App took forever. Wasted an hour just trying to get the trailer. Awful. I don't think any of this was the locations fault but caused by terrible app experience.
Brandyn KOn the App, information detailed that the location was open. I expected to see and talk with an associate. However, the office was closed, but the vehicles are fully accessible only through the U-Haul App on Sundays. It would be a HUGE help if the App could explain that and it would be a HUGE help if the business had more detailed information that on days the office is closed, the App MUST be used as that's the only way to obtain a vehicle. Not sure if the App need to be updated to fully explain that for the U-Haul system? Outside of that, the vehicle was clean, accessible and fueled-up. The vehicle appeared to be well maintained.
Charlie BCalled on Thursday afternoon and was quoted a rate of 180.00 to 200.00 for a one way rental. Asked to reserve the truck and was told I have 8 of them here just come in tomorrow. Went there Friday morning and the rate was 100.00 more. Told him what I was quoted yesterday and he said U Haul changes their rates daily and that's the new rate. Had no choice since I needed to move some furniture that weekend so I had to pay the higher rate. This location is also unorganized, guy complained the the night crew didn't check in the vehicle so had to wait for this guy to go check the truck out. The return location was much more professional and the return process went well. Pros where the truck worked and ran well. Cons where bait and switch pricing they raised the rate 100.00 from the original quote and an unorganized renting office

Jessica SNo pads in my truck as requested on my reservation; check engine light was on for a long period of my move; traction control randomly turned on and off causing a herky jerky ride; I felt every small impression on the expressway and highways; truck had exactly 63 miles of gas in it when I picked it up.
Jason EThey called me multiple times trying to get me to come a day early and pick up the truck. Also, on the day of pick up they called again asking where I was when I was already on the way. Basically have a pushy vibe but otherwise I had a very pleasant experience and the pickup was a smooth process.
Christopher DI really appreciated that I could complete the rental all online the day before. The process to pickup and drop off without having an employee there is clutch. So seamless. Good idea to take pictures as well for verification to cover the renter and company.

Larisa LWe dropped off the trailer in the evening (the day before it was due back) and we were charged an after hours fee - despite the fact that no one was there helping us to incur a fee and despite the fact that we dropped off the trailer 14 hours before it was due back. We both had to work the next morning so we thought we would do the right thing by taking it the night before rather than bringing back the equipment late. Lessons learned for us I guess.

Craig NStaff is condescending and rude. Don't want you to bother them with any issue or question. Almost bully-like. I've used them 5 times and had this experience 3 times. Next time I will travel out of the way and pay more for miles just to avoid interacting with them.
Jennifer RPricing on the side of the vehicle is misleading. The actual cost to rent the vehicle was 4x the price listed. The process of checking out the vehicle was tedious and not customer friendly.

marc rCustomer service is poor. The quoted price is never what the final bill comes to. Once you discuss the bill with the proprietor they "adjust" the bill but it's always more than what the quote provided. This was my second time renting from this place but it will be my last. Your web site is complicated and the emails are non-stop once you reserve the vehicle with repeated information that conflicts the original terms. The "two" final bills were sent via email and provided two different totals with incorrect details of the time and day. Poor service all around. Never again.

Daniel BI was disappointed that my online reservation, that I confirmed the afternoon before, had been canceled and that they didn't even have the trailer I had reserved. However, they had one that was a better size for my needs and cheaper.
