This was my second time renting a uhual there and both times the employees where really nice and respectful they helped me and my mother with everything even asked us questions nicely. Very happy with this place highly recommend to anyone in need of a uhual and or a first time renter. They also gave us the option to rent a storage there and explained how much we would pay and the different sizes. Manager was rude on phone when I called because I had some questions to ask about rental. Pick up took an hour, asking the same questions I already answered online. I asked her if I could drop the trailer off at another location, she answered yes but did not provide information that I would be charged extra. I only learned that info at the other location. So I drive back to Kingsville and apparently they are closed on Sundays. Manager was sitting outside and ran inside when we pulled up the location. Had to leave trailer outside of gates. I was worried that it would be stolen so I took lots of pictures showing we had dropped trailer of with no damage.Jeremy H.

Make vehicles accessible to women. It was a challenge climbing into that truck. Company needs to provide stepping stool. Also, for this same reason provide smaller vehicles I.e. small trucks, vans, vehicles appropriate for a female to be able to get in/get out. Not fair that a 66 old woman with knee problems had to rely on step stool which your company didn't provide.Hermelinda G.

This storage facility is the best place I have ever dealt with. Very friendly and helpful staff. Besides being a great storage facility, they are also a U-Haul facility that we are working with for when we move. Some equipment needed oil/rust protection to operate properly, I speak specifically about the left tire strap assembly. It was difficult to tighten due to rust. By the end of the trip the tire was not fastened at all!Martin C.

The whole bus was very dirty on the outside. The weather was rainy and the windshield wipers didn't work. We had to purchase new ones.Lucy F.
Took much longer to rent this trailer than I've ever had to in the past. The gentleman at the window was cool except he wanted me to wear a mask even though he was inside behind the glass and I was outside the entire time and never mind that his mask was never actually covering his mouth or nose, it was more of a chin cover but he gave me a mask and I kindly put it on so I could continue to fill out the online contract. FINALLY got it all squared away and to the back of the premises we went and he had us back up to the trailer that was completely covered in bird droppings. Not a huge deal but I was going to be using it to transport several sheets of fairly expensive cabinet grade plywood. Again, no biggie, figured I was going to have to sand it anyway but the principal of it being that nasty is what bothered me. The rental was to be a 24hr rental and we were to have it from 11-11 but because I worked early the next day it was up to my wife to drop it off on her way to work. She arrived @ 0850 and was told by an elder female that she wasn't open yet and my wife would have to wait to drop it off. The business (or office portion) didn't officially open until 0900 and she went on further to tell my wife that even if she were open that she didn't hVw anyone to take it in. My wife sat and waited the additional 10min before she was allowed into the gated area and pulled the trailer around to the â€œtrailer areaâ€ where the gentleman from the prior day disconnected it for her. My main problem with this whole ordeal is that I have NEVER had an issue with not being allowed to leave rented U-Haul equipment at the designated business or place of return. U-Haul policy says that you can leave equipment at the location 24/7 so long as you complete the return on their website. As a matter of fact, according to their FAQ page, it's ENCOURAGED, to drop it off early. It's not a huge deal I understand that but I just think that ALL locations should be held to the same standards and not allowed to make up their own rules, making it more convenient for them instead of the customer. To avoid the hassle for the next time I'll just drive the 45min to one of the main U-Haul locations to do any future rentals.Brandan R.

Please ensure you are checking tire life. I blew a tire after only driving 20 miles. Roadside assistance was amazing and so fast to help with this issue though.Yasmin A.

The manager was one of the rudest people I have evert met. I simply asked if I could use the restroom since I had just driven a distance to get there and she became angry and irate and said NOâ€¦there is no restroom for customers here!Terrible customer service. The lady at this location takes her job way too seriously. To the extent that she tells you that the gas tank is the place where you put the gas. And I had to give her more emergency contacts to rent the truck than I had to provide my doctor before surgery. It was tedious and demeaning and really unnecessary. But it's a very convenient location so take the good with the bad.Cayce L.

I've been given the run around from Uhaul Customer service to the location of where I rented the Uhaul regarding a refund for the "Dollie" I was charged for. I was told to call CS and they would make a note for the refund. The location only gave me a refund for 1 day, not two. Poor customer service.
