The lady that made my reservation for a 12 foot enclosed trailer had it scheduled as a local rental. It was supposed to be a one way rental. The tail lights on the trailer were not working. It was very dangerous while we were on the road at night. Cars and trucks kept flashing their lights at us and we had no idea until we stopped at a rest stop and another driver told us. The truck I reserved was not back. I really needed a pickup but was forced into a van. It limited what I was planning to do with a rental. No inconvenience rate was applied to my full charged rental.Robert M.
I initially rented a smaller trailer but had to rent a larger one to safely transport all of the equipment. The turn in/exchange/upgrade was seamless. I did notice that the original trailer I had rented had expired tags; would think UHAUL's database would support data fields for equipment registration dates and alert the businesses NOT to rent a piece of equipment with an expired tag.Philip C.

Steering was loose and power steering died off engine rpm's were not high. Oil was over 2 quarts low which led to oil pressure dropping and oil light coming on frequently. Location is good and customer service was good.steven S.

Uhaul was a terrible experience. We booked the truck for a guaranteed Friday pickup time (including confirmation emails from Uhaul). Arrived for the truck and Uhaul told us it would be 6 hours late due to their reg system mistake. I have explained to multiple staff that their mistake cost me an extra $400 in labor (had to send the movers home for several hours), PLUS a premium because we needed the movers now on Saturday - due to Uhaul's error on a guaranteed rez. Even spoke with their regional who "....covers almost 40 rental centers....that refund is all we can do". Terrible experience, lousy "customer service". Apparently all uhauls are independent franchises, some of the on-site staff was helpful, one woman notsomuch, they explained the situation is not their doing, but all Uhaul's responsibility.......Sean A.

Rental rates are VERY unclear. I had my vehicle for 27 hours. I did not realize picking up at 12:30 on a Friday and returning on a Saturday at 5:00 would count as TWO days. The vehicle wasn't going to be rented out on Saturday OR Sunday because the location was closed. Also, not sure why dropping a key in the drop box incurs a $20 after hours fee. Onsite service was good. Just disappointed in the fees and calculations.Scott L.

When we showed up to pick up the U-Haul we went to pay for it and we found out that the card that our paycheck is deposited on required a 100 dollar deposit. We were told that it was only cash that needed a 100 dollar deposit. Then we were told that they could not use the card at all. It was a Visa card and had we not had another person with us that lender us thier card to use it would of really screwed up our moving day. You should tell customers in advance that certain cards may not work.eric R.

My rental truck had a damaged passenger side mirror which was not usable. It was not noticed until truck was half full. Driving was extremely dangerous and unsafe. Ramp was muddy. Pick-up location should not have rented this vehicle. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. My concern is with the vehicle.Paul D.

I would absolutely recommend this place for rentals. All of the staff was more than courteous and helpful. They went above and beyond to explain the process, show me the vehicle, and help me to walk through it all. I so appreciate meeting a person face to face and not having to do it all on line. The truck was so loud that I got pulled over on RT60 for the noise level. Gave me a truck at 1/2 tank, of course they said 3/4.. returned it how I got it and was charged over $60 for 1/4 gas. Have emailed uhaul and reported itKevin C.

Maybe not have people scam customers for damages when damages were not done by said customer or while customer had equipment. The damage was probably done there in the parking lot between the time pictures were taken after the last customer had used it and before I drove it off the lot. No pictures were taken of the equipment on the day it was taken by me, and now I'm being charged nearly 400 for damages on the passenger door. Everything that was on the truck was there when I got it. There is a huge flaw in your bullshit. I will never use uhaul again. By the way... The truck came from TA Auto in Jamestown, NY. The owner, Tim, was very rude to me and hung the phone up on me when I was trying to ask him about the damage charge on my receipt. He said there was a clean mark, whatever that means, on the passenger door, picture was taken before and after (there was no picture taken before) and there was nothing I could do about it and hung up on me. Called back, got a new secretary who told me to call tomorrow because she was new and didn't know what to do when I asked for said pictures.April G.

When renting it tells you to drop off the truck at one place but you return it elsewhere. Also, I originally requested 6 hours and when I got the instructions to return the truck, it shortened my rental by 1.25 hours.Abigail P.
