After putting gas in n getting charged ! Ridiculous!! I d recommend another u haul location. Seems like no one knows what there doing cause only one person was working when I returned the truck. This drop off was different. I was not able to find a person. I ended up calling the 800 number and the person on the phone walked me through the drop of through the internet and drop of key box. Maybe have it noted on contract to be prepared to do the drop off this way. It was easy once I went through it.ROBERT A.

There was a face mask left in the passanger side door and thats not ideal. I've picked up uhauls at plenty of other places, like I'm pretty laid back but it took almost a half hour just to get me on my way. Hope they don't charge me the late fee for not returning it before they closed at 6pm because I went super out of my way to make sure it was very well cleaned. Also only time i've been charged an "environmental fee" not sure what thats about. Overall was just barely a sub average time.Austin N.

Since my move was from Renssaler to Albany and I had to take a $25 uber ride just to get to this completely obscure out of the way location I'm frankly rather irritated with Uhaul. The operator of the location had a what I can only describe as an indifferent bordering negative attitude toward my customer service experience let alone Uhaul. The truck was $155 when I thought it was $85. There is also the dolly $7 and furniture pads $10 but with tax is far away from $155. What's with the fees ? Environmental fee? For what? Nickel and diming and misrepresented cost is poor customer service and may prompt my reporting this further. I also find it ridiculous that you blatantly advertise local moves for $19.99?! Explain that one. The moving help showed up and immediately bailed on me and the only other help I had. Total bullshit. I cancelled them through the online portal and expect a full refund! As far as the uber ride and extra fees good customer service would be to provide concessions for this extreme inconvenience on an already stressful day.Matthew M.
The woman did not check me out in a timely matter and seemed confused with the software. I believe they do not do the uHaul fulltime as it was another company where the office was located. It was very frustrating as I had a schedule to keep and the delay in checking out and getting the vehicle caused a backup in my day.Barbara C.

The whole experience was negative. The 5 x 8 trailer I went it was supposed to be picked up at the menands location. I got a text saying it was in half moon which didn't work for me. They then arranged for a larger trailer at the Troy location. Got there- no one was there. When the woman arrived she didn't know how to hook it up. The costs were significantly different than I agreed to so I will be taking that up with either haul or my credit card company. Hope I don't need to use U-haul again. The invoice mess was not because of Sycaway.luann S.

Truck required, "Oil change soon. Truck seat was very wet Truck stunk of manure Rear of truck was wet There was water in the cup holders The truck had obviously been hosed down on the inside. The next morning the inside of the windshield was covered with fog. As you check your records you will find I have been a very good customer for truck and trailer rental. Communicate with correct information. Learn the system and become Customer Friendly. Invest in a better computer system and upgrade your internet! Help your clients to understand the online process if you INSIST they use that because your internet is so SLOW. Educate yourselves on how U-Haul works. We will not use this location again and will be referring everyone to the Campbell Avenue location. Gracias.Gary K.

I reserved a truck on line from Sycaway Creamery to pick up 2pm Wednesday 7/5. I put the order confirmation in my phone. When I went to pick up the truck, there was no record of my reservation. The order confirmation came up empty. Later in the evening, I would get an email stating there was a reservation at the Campbell Ave site for 8am Thursday 7/6. I have used this process many times before without issue. This time the site and time were not what I had entered. I tried Campbell Ave once and it was a disaster. Not going back there. I was actually on the phone with the Sycaway site as I ordered. I called to see if they had a truck available so I could expedite the process on line to make pick up faster. Faster didn't happen but the job got done.Daniel F.

Owner calling his son stupid in front of my fatherinlaw and myself. Owner not being able to process my rental at his store location, he left his store and went home to do the paperwork then called his son on the phone to get my information and the straw that broke the camel's back in my opinion. He charged the wrong card and cost me over a 150.00 in over drafts fees.David A.

I was told by my rental agent that I Oils return the truck at anytime in the morning since this location was closed. This is my review of our uhaul experience: the first questions asked about sycaway creamery specifically, I gave them rave reviews... Then I wrote this in the comment section: We ended up at Sycaway Creamery, because the trailer that I reserved AND had a confirmation to pick up at 2pm at the Campbell Ave, Troy location was not present when we arrived. After dealing with the attendant at that store, for over an hour, with no results and no explanation as to why our trailer was not at the location ready to be picked up, we needed to leave because we had planned our trailer pick up around other appointments. After leaving, we received 4 phone calls from the attendant, all of which led us nowhere. We contacted Sycaway Creamery directly and were able to reserve the trailer we needed, for pick up the next morning. We promptly arrived in the morning, hooked the trailer up to our truck and safety tested it. We then went inside to finish paperwork, only to find that the U-haul computer system would not allow Mr. Duncan to rent the trailer to us. After multiple phone calls to a main office, and "traffic"... We were finally able to leave with the trailer, but not before getting very stern with the main office attendant over the phone, and proving that we had a reservation for a trailer, from Campbell Ave, and that we weren't just walking in off the street; that we were trying to get U-haul to correct the problem THEY caused. Luckily, Mr. Duncan went to bat for us and we were able to rent the trailer. Sycaway Creamery is a fantastic location, but the U-haul company was terrible to deal with, both from the customer, AND from the contractors (who work for U-haul) perspective. We will be taking our business to another rental company in the future.Tiffany F.
