Nothing at Mason Rd, but The Put It Down Plaza, needs help with customer service and being more professional.
Kim RamseyThis reservation was moved from Put It Down at 4666 Broad St Sumter, SC 29154. This was required because the doors were locked and no one was around at Put It Down even though I arrived within their posted business hours. I've experienced similar problems picking up a UHaul in Columbia SC. I strongly recommend that UHaul screens their service providers more thoroughly to ensure that they have the ability (and willingness) to service UHaul customer's in a professional and timely manner. I did not experience any delays or issues with Sumter Rentals!!!!
William ScottThe initial truck had engine misfires that one associate tried to pass off as nothing. Thankfully another person heard the conversation about the check engine light and decided to check it out. Had to wait an hour for another truck.

James RiceThe Wi-Fi connection was awe full. Had to find a place to connect to be able to maneuver through the program. Took an hour to complete the process and had to call U-Haul support and they confirmed need better Wi-Fi to complete the process. The store location was very close to the main road (378 I think) and that was good. I ordered a flat furniture dolly but was given a stand up dolly. The truck had damage to it so I took pictures of the damage in case I have to prove I didn’t cause the damage. If I ever have to rent another truck I’ll chose a location that has real people to provide the truck and not an electronic rental system. The truck drove good and was user friendly to operate.
Richard Dorman SrThey were closed so I didn't get to interact with anyone there. I tried to use the website to return the trailer, but it sent me into a maddening loop of trying to upload pictures. Finally gave up and just left the trailer sitting there.

Shirley CrowderWork on your pricing. It’s no way I should rent a vehicle that says the price is &19.99. I have the vehicle for MAYBE all of 45 minutes. ONLY drive 4 miles and my bill somehow comes out to $36… something isn’t right with that pricing and it really needs to be looked at. I honestly feel cheated out of money as small as the amount may be.

Logan Smith1$ a mile over plus the tax dependent move per state. Your moving equipment is overpriced and over hyped. Calm yourself and your company, you are not worth that much. Also the seller lied to me and told me that the price per mile was .40c before I left, and rushed the contract.

Honeybee StampersI had to go in to collect the key. The gentleman that helped was VERY polite and it was so refreshing after the morning we had. My only takeaway is that the establishment smelled of cigarettes which was concerning as I'm an asthmatic. Other than that, we were very pleased.

mike hensonThis was not the location we were supposed to pick up from, but they were quick to provide most of the equipment we needed. The truck park has a lot of damage: broken mirror, broken front bumper, and numerous scrapes and dents. Overall, the truck operated fine.
SCOT TAYLOROld truck. Smelled of burning oil. I would not recommend unless my friends checked out the truck well first. We drove 11 miles and put $10.01 dollars of gas in. The company added $21.00 to my bill unexpectedly. There is no way we used that much fuel to travel 11 miles. Sorry.
John StodghillWhen ask about the difference in quoted price (about 70 dollars) was told the quot did not include taxes Was never offered or even mentioned that the travel coverage or told that it was most of the difference in the price which I would have declined but didn’t have the choice This happen because of traveling interstate and had an accident and needed a truck and tow dolly to get vehical from SC back to home in FL
