Marci MooreIt's also not his fault. I don't think these reviews should just be about the pick up and drop off locations. We had alot of trouble caused by the actual U-Haul company. And would like review them. The people I talked to were nice. But the system almost screwed us completely. I had called a couple weeks in advance to reserve my 20' truck. There weren't any in my town so we had to commute. They gave us those miles. Totally fine. Except noone informed us that the out of town location, like 45 miles away, did not have our truck. That it got sent somewhere else or something. So we drove out for nothing. We ended up just taking a 12' trailer instead because it's what we could get so last notice. It almost ruined our move. Luckily we could get storage to put everything else in that wouldn't fit. But we had to go out of town AGAIN to go get the trailer too. The trips really ate into our gas budget for our cross state move. And now we have to go back in a month or two to get the rest. It was pretty messed up honestly and had us really panicked while it was happening. Noone followed up to say hey, well give you another discount or miles or whatever since you have to go out of your way. It just sucked. And all we asked is we get some extra time to unpack because of all the running around we ran out, and we were told it would be fine and we got charged for it anyway. Like, c'mon. We only had it a few more hours and returned it that night. I would understand if everything went smoothly, but with everything that happened? Meh.

GLEN LOUCKWe had selected a different location but were contacted the day before our scheduled pickup and told the only U-Haul the size we had requested was at this location. Due to travel we would be picking up after hours. There were people loitering around the area when we arrived. As soon as we pulled in our vehicle was approached by a woman trying to sell drugs. We ultimately had to call police to come clear the area so we could access the lockbox. But the ‘pickup’ time had expired so we had to spend 15 minutes on the phone with U-Haul answering service to gain access to the truck.

Drop off location was poor, horrible, not friendly, office was filthy, etc. They charged me for 54 extra miles, when my contract from cubby hole, shreveport, la., showed that I was allowed 50 extra miles....so I should have only been charged for (4) extra miles. Terrible communication in the beginning, I had a truck reserved for at least 2+ months prior to needing, 6/6/18. I understand that Uhaul will credit the consumer $50.00 due to having a bad experience..... also, I am requesting an additional credit of 50 miles, due to miss calculating at time of drop off. Uhaul Traffic division was supposed to call me back....I NEVER received a call back from them. I understand that cubby hole documented extensively the issues/concerns, please review their notes on my reservation. So, I am requesting a $50.00 refund (customer service experience) AND a credit for excessive mileage charge of (50) miles. THIS EXPERIENCE WITH UHAUL WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I will also be contacting my American Express account, regarding my issues and credits. Thank you, Marlena Morris

Greg GardnerBoth times I have scheduled a rental, I get sent to a place less and less convenient for pickup. If I make a reservation weeks in advance, it should be made available at the place of my choosing. I’m fully expecting my next pick up to be one state over.
Jon CheekI was satisfied with the service I received from Stormys Car Care, however I was very disappointed with U Haul. Even though I reserved my rental ahead of time on line, my reservation pickup location was changed twice, and instead of a pickup time of 8:00 am as I had requested, It changed to 11:15 am. When I had several prearranged meetings scheduled for my move, U Haul changing my pickup location and time was very inconvenient for me.

Morning StarChristopher, the agent, was at the DMV at the time I came to pick up the cargo trailer. I had to wait an hour for him to return to rent the trailer. Then, when I asked for time extensions for the trailer's use (via U-Haul), which is what Christopher recommended if I needed more time with the equipment, he ended up calling me on the second day of the time extension to say he needed the equipment back for someone else to rent. If rental extensions are allowed, then everyone should be on board with the concept. I could not predict to the day how long I would need the equipment, which is why he gave me the advice on extended the time of rental to begin with. So, it was inappropriate for him (1) to be an hour late to rent the equipment, and, (2) call me to pressure me to return the equipment during my rental agreement. U-Haul gets paid, no money was lost. What gives?

Barbara KingFirst the email I got as to where to pick the trailer up was wrong. Then I was sent to two different uhaul stores before they finally found a trailer for me. Before this pick up when I called to confirm my order, I was told that I had ordered a van. Noooo, I order a 12' by 6' enclosed trailer! Good thing I call. When I ordered the trailer I was told it was going to be $89. My husband showed me a receipt for $166. I am waiting now to see what I actually get charge. Also, while driving we hit a pot hole and the trailer hit the car leaving a huge dent. That part is not your fault but it does add to the frustration I had with uhaul in the first place!!!
linda janowiakFriendly and helpful. Nothing against Stormy but U-Haul communications are awful. Originally scheduled a one way trailer rental at a different location online and after multiple phone calls to customer service ended up with this location.
Kenneth RobbI was supposed to pick up my equipment at North Hearne location per my order and my email. When i got there i was sent to Stormys. N Hearne was rude unprofessional and lied about how far away Stormys was. This caused a lot of delays as i had a moving team in from Texas to work. I won't trust uhaul with my order again. They thought it was ok for me to have to go to three different uhauls to get my ordered stuff!!!
Pamela FlairWindshield was very dirty on the truck rented. Also, after I left saw the fuel gauge was at 3/4 not 7/8. Spoke to person at dropoff location about it and was told to take it with pickup location. Not worth the effort for 5 gallons of fuel.

PATRICIA SCOTTI made reservations online for a truck, in addition to ordering 2 dozen moving blankets. When I arrived there, the back of the truck was filthy, and they had just sold the last of their blankets to a previous customer. I had to go to a different UHaul place way on the other side of town to get blankets. I don't remember the name of the place, but they cleaned out the back of the truck for me and provided me with moving blankets.
