The help line for U-Haul because we could not log in to pick up our 24/7 share truck was a 60+ minute wait. By the time we got through they had already rented the truck out to someone else. Upon return there was no one at the desk to return the key to. I stood in the lobby for about 5 minutes and no one showed up. I ended up walking into the back portion of the store and knocking on one of the offices. The woman was very nice was, although surprised too see me there, very prudent in her handling that the situation and assisting me in returning the truck. She asked me if I had fuelled the tank to which I stated that I had. I drove the truck for about 30 miles and had just refilled the tank to the 7/8th mark, or as close to it as the I can tell, about a mile from the return location. By the eye it looked like I had used about a fifth of a tank total. I put just under $12, about 3.5 gallons, in which, when turning the ignition, appeared to be almost exactly where the gauge was at the time of pick up. After leaving the truck I received an email with my receipt about 15 minutes later and noticed that my bill was higher than I had anticipated. After looking at it I realized that I had driven more miles than I had intended. I ballpark it initially at about 20 miles but it ended up being more the range of 30, not a problem. The next line on the receipt, however, charged $9 for 2 gallon fuel. While the $10 in and of itself is not a big deal the fact that it was even and itemized charge was a bit frustrating. I understand that uhaul charges more for gas than a gas station would and perhaps 2 gallon is the minimum chargeable amount.. I do, however, have the receipt that shows the purchase amount of gas as well as the time and location that it was purchased. Doing the math by dividing miles driven by the amount of gas that I had put in it is pretty clear that it isn't possible for it to have been returned under 7/8 full. $11.36 gas@ $3.09 a gallon [3.67 gallons] 38 miles By my math that would average to about 10 miles per gallon. 38Ã·3.67=10.4. I know that a 10 ft truck gets about 12 mpg so, if true, I would have actually returned it with more gas than it had to begin with. Again, nothing that would stop me from renting from U-Haul in the future, perhaps would stop me from renting or recommending that specific location. I don't necessarily expect a response back from this nor do I expect a refund. Our original rental was in Greenwood at Johnson Equipment Rental. No one was there to service us. We had to locate another location which was 35 minutes away. I will never use U-HAUL again because they couldn't even locate the owner of Johnson. Very unprofessional!!!!!Grant H.

I tried to reserved a truck at a different location that was .4 miles from my location but no trucks available so I had to pick up a truck 4 miles away. I then get a call 2 days before pickup telling me that I now have to go an additional 4 miles to a different location to get my truck. It was a 20 minute drive. When I drove by my original location choice at noon I counted 7 trucks of the size I wanted sitting in the parking area. Very frustrating.Karen B.

I really love the facility. The professionalism of the staff was great. My only complaint is the first storage room they gave me had a leaky pipe which set my things up for mold. i wasn't happy at all with that but they gave me another clean dry storage area. The only reason I picked up from this location is because the truck I was supposed to get from 6014 Michigan Road Indianapolis was not there when I went to pick it up. I called customer service and someone from the location had modified my reservation the day before and I was not notified, NOT good customer service. The agent I was speaking too, located another truck 5 miles away and I was able to go there and pick it up.Jeff M.

The respresenitive, Zach/Zack was rather rude to me and my boyfriend when we came in to purchase the uhaul. He said we appeared suspicious and had us verify our identity with someone? Does this happen all the time or just when they feel like it? It should be everybody, but even still, it was very insulting ... I was anxious because I had about 800 things to do today, just now sitting down at 11:30pm. He didn't try to make us feel welcome, rather made me feel like I should go elsewhere.. but we needed the truck and had already arranged it. I understand needing to keep an eye on your trucks, but the way he presented himself was insulting to me. Also, he offered a discount on storage... literally after telling him we were moving in today. He said, "sorry for being a dick, I'll give you a discount on storage".... we don't even need storage. Gee thanks, Zach. Not professional at all. He was rude and made the start to my moving very stressful and upsetting. Thanks for listening.Sheena W.

I had to check in the truck after hours and using the online check-in was very challenging. I spent a long time trying to log in, reset my password, etc. Once I downloaded the app, it went pretty smoothly. It would help if the instructions recommended downloading the app at the beginning.Karen H.

There was 1.5 - 2â€ of water in the back of the moving truck. We were picking up a wooden dining room table. We had to go to CVS and pick up large trash bags to lay down on the floor and then utilize the 6 moving pads to try to not sit the table and 6 chairs in water. What really aggravated me was when I turned in the vehicle and mentioned to the lady TWICE that I hadn't planned on that expense thinking that she would â€œ make an adjustment â€œ for my inconvenience it was as if I never said anything. She said â€œ I will tell Kyle when he returns. â€œ I brought the vehicle back and parked it in the same location that I found it. Put the paper windshield cover back and locked the vehicle. Kyle was the individual that I dealt with when I picked up the vehicle. Very thoughtful and professional. I reserve comment regarding the lady. First time using the app. Honestly I am not sure that I would utilize U Haul again. Budget is across the street. I am 68 years old and I am of the era of customer service.Michael W.

The office was to be open until 5 pm so we hurried to drop off the truck at 4:30 pm and no one was there in the office for the drop off, eventhough stated hours should have been open until 5 pm. No clear instructions where to park and leave the returned truck. Will not use this drop off location again.Sharon A.

They did not put my car on the auto transport for me. I had to take the truck over to the keystone plaza location where they told me they wouldn't help me either... I had to beg them. It was disgusting... after 3 hours of moving in 95 degree weather to go through this. Then I after I begged and offered money he said yes and then I had to Uber back to my car and drive back. I originally asked when making this reservation if they would be able to put my car on the auto transport. Then last minute the Sunday before uhaul changed it to this other location where I was told they would. It was a nightmare. I missed my movers who didn't even call me.adil M.
I can't tell you what to improve, the people I worked with went above and beyond anything I would have asked of them. Mooching is always a stressful time for people. Your people at this faculty made my move so much easier, they did what they said they would do and they were extremely sympathetic to all my needs! Y'all should be grateful for this team and try to pay attention to how they treat customers, if your entire corporation ran like this facility you'd have zero competition.CHARLES H.
