Better customer service, I asked a question about U-Haul and was corrected by the employee that she doesn't work for U-Haul but I was at a U-Haul location so I asked exactly that this is U-Haul right? Truck was more pleasing experience then the human being.
AISHA TNot charge them three different times. I have been charged 3 different times, 3 different amounts. I am not at all pleased. The only reason for the rating is because you asked me about the location, location and customer service at this particular location was awesome. But other than that, terrible. I think I'll be renting a trailer from now on instead of getting ripped off by uhaul
Monica CAir conditioner in truck would not produce cold air. With the current weather (hot), we had to stop for an inhaler for their asthms. They also have cancer and it did not contribute positively yo their health condition.

VALERY LWhen I arrived, I attempted to mobile check-in. After receiving multiple errors on the App, I went inside to speak with the representative. While I would rate her service a 10/10 the overall experience was not great. She informed me that someone else had taken the U-Haul that was meant for me which was creating the error. She was also having issues with the technology. She then advised there was another 10-foot U-Haul available but it hadn't been cleaned and it was under 1/4 of a tank of gas. I accepted due to having to get a piece of furniture moved. I am not sure who it was possible for someone to take the incorrect truck however, it took 30+ minutes in store to get a truck and the issue resolved. As mentioned, the representative was great and doing the best she could given the rough start to her Saturday.

Michael WThe truck itself was in rough shape and shifted hard. The check in process requiring 7 pictures be taken at night in a poorly lit lot is both ridiculous and dangerous. Ended up hurting myself by banging into the trailer hitch because it was pitch black.

shauntasia rTwo complaints. #1- The truck floor mat was not very clean - had mud on it both sides. #2- My agreement was made on the phone and I was told that I could drop my one-way truck off in Union City. That was not listed on my contract. The Mitthoeffer Rd. office did not show Winchester, IN as a U-Haul location on their computer screen. It took a phone call to rectify this. Too much reliance on cell-phone app.
DAVID DIt is very frustrating for those who are not computer savvy. Renting Uhaul should not be this hard and difficult. The clerk or attendant should be customer friendly and willing to help first-time renters.

Jesse CThe person who helped me on the phone was the same person who helped me I. Person upon picking up the vehicle. She was not helpful at all. We really suffered because we had to move washer and dryer without a regular dolly for appliances We used a furniture wheel dolly to move the washer and dryer. The truck was very dirty and smelled of pungent ashtray. The seat did not adjust for someone who is short in stature had to completely sit halfway up the seat to drive. Not safe at all. Overall horrible experience. I will most likely never use this location again

anthony LThe reason I say below average isn't actually because of this location exactly. I had the worst experience because 20 min before I was supposed to pick up the truck on 3016 Southport rd I was called and told they didn't even have what I reserved. So makes me wonder what the point was. Seems they just wanted to avoid giving me the 50$ or something. They made me go half hour out of the way to get a different truck which made me an HR late . They say they gave me 40 miles free supposedly but I don't know if I believe it because the truck was more than they said it was going to be when I got there. It went From 166$ too 200$. Oh and the woman who called me was kind of rude about the whole thing. The woman at mitthoeffer was nice at least and helpful. Oh and another thing that needs some work is the pictures you refer to about damage. they are so tiny and you can't zoom so I had no idea if it was right or not and then later notice the handle of the truck was messed up so now I just have major anxiety that I'll have to pay for something that some other stupid individual did. And there was no one I could speak to about it. So overall I'm probably not going to use this service again unless it's like last resort . So much anxiety and headache. My mother passed and I just wanted to get her things before I lost them forever. So uhaul gets a 1/10 from me.

JOSHUA SI have used moving truck companies for years. Even Uhaul before and I thought it was industry standard for it to be slow, dirty trucks, poor service. However, Uhaul has changed the game. They are not the same old boring moving company anymore. The Uhaul truck rental app is so easy to use and the fleet at this location was clean and updated with WiFi and Onstar. It was handsdown the best moving experience I have had in my life.

We waited like 15 minutes or so before we could get the u haul because the process we had to do like take pictures of this and that etc in oder to get the keys or truck itself. The truck had damage to the front end of it prior to me getting it also but wasn't in the picture they sent to me.

Jaspreet SMore signs to show the location. Locate the Uhaul pick up location closer to the persons address of moving. There are three other locations visible within 10 miles of my house. I had to drive 28 miles from there to pick this up. Instructions on using truck share are poor. Nothing said that if I was late its canceled.

WILLIAM KThe location sucked , PAM the only lady working was EXTREMELY RUDE. She caused me to have a panic attack and embarrassed me in front of all the other customers all because I asked for HELP. she wasn't rude to anyone else. PAM claimed she knew NOTHING about customer service or anything about her job. PAM deserves to be fired. She was an awful woman. Second the truck that was given to me was a death trap. And it shook every five seconds like it was going to fall apart and made weird noises when I would turn. The brakes barley worked. And the truck even turned off at one point while I was driving it. I had to wait at the location for THREE hours to get my truck. RIDICULOUS!!!!!! and there was cooking grease all over in the back of the trailer where my new couch was going to go. I will NEVER use U-Haul again. And I want my money back ASAP!!!! Who treats their paying customers this way ?!?!??! Learn better customer service!!!!!!
