Large tow trailer did not have a hitch stand. How did you expect me to pick ip the trailer and hook it? Too heavy. I went to another location - St Albans. They hooked it up for me

Lisa SThe mobile pickup was easy. However, we rented a dolly, and there was no dolly in the truck. U-Haul easily refunded the money, but there was no solution for us needing the dolly.
amy sHave more than one person waiting. I was scheduled for 11:30 and had to wait about 35 minutes to get my trailer as someone was renting a storage unit so there was no one to help me.
Keith WAn improvement would be if you would not double charge for the rental, I am still waiting for this to be corrected. It appears I will have to dispute the charge through my credit card. The individual at the front desk was extremely helpful and courteous; however she can't correct the double charge, the manager has to do it.

CARL AYou have nice trailers at a fair price. If you can offer money back for early returns. A lot more local people would rent your trailers. Some people just need one for 1 to 2 hours. Renting uncovered trailers for a bit. You would not need to own a pickup. Just saying.
Dan WThe staff member at the pick up location was awesome. I do believe the trucks should be wiped down inside after every use. It was a little dirty.. cupholders were sticky and dirty and dashboard was dusty. So a wipe down between uses would be great because for the money you pay you shouldn't have to do it yourself. Other than that it was a good rental with easy pick up and drop off

Joe BThe pickup and drop off experience at the self serve location where I picked up my uhaul was a royal pain in the ass. My order number was #19271235. The furniture pad, utility dolly and furniture dolly I requested where not in the truck and there is human at this pickup locations. It appears I was charged for these anyway. The cellular service made it very difficult and time consuming to send all the required pictures I had to take (selfie, drivers license, the empty back of the truck where there were no dollies or furnture pads, the interior and exterior of the trunk upon return. I also found out that since I had an out of state driver's license, I had to have my identity confirmed by three different people prior to my approval for the rental. In all it took over an hour to perform the pickup and drop off procedure for the truck. This was ridiculous. I warn anyone else who is not familiar with the self serve pickup/drop off procedure using the app to strongly consider avoiding this painful process and deal with a uhaul site staffed with humans. I recommend posting videos how to go about the process and to ensure that there is appropriate cellular service at these locations to ensure the process of uploading the many required pictures doesn't take as long. I WOULD NEVER USE THE SELF SERVE/APP TO RENT A UHAUL IN THE FUTURE. I hope that I will be refunded the expense for the furniture pads and dollies that I was supposed to have rented that were not in the truck as promised. Jana HThis was my worst experience with Uhaul. I never had this much trouble with you guys. I been using uhaul for over 30 years. I put 63 miles on the truck. The truck stunk like dirty butt. They charged me $165 for 3 hrs of ice. First I had to wait 2 hrs to get the keys. Then the truck would not start. The customer representative was a female. She was super rude and wasn't helpful at all. So I hung up and called right back. This time it was a male. His name I believe was JD. Jr was helpful. He made sure that I got my keys. Overall my experience was very stressful and unprofessional at the least.
Kelly GI don't like the fact that you're not open at this location on the weekends so I'm forced to pay for 3 days rental of an appliance dolly when I could have rented it and returned it same day. The reason I used this location is because it is close to my home. I will look at alternative rental companies going forward like Lowe's or Home Depot since they are open 7 days. I ended up paying $30 plus tax for a 1 day use of an appliance dolly. Lesson learned.

Chris DThis is a new location and is not well staffed, the young lady was very helpful, but not overly aware of all duties. Now I have been renting cars and box trucks for over 30 years, this was the first time there was no walk around and inspection of truck with renter. i was overcharged for mileage 20 miles and in the process of some type restitution. The truck its self was not a great truck, it struggled for take clunky shifting and constant vibration.
Eric PI explained my needs and the professional staff explained to me the best way to handle the situation. Great advice, great service.
