Only the amount was charged incorrectly, since I only drove five miles with the car and I returned it with a full tank it didn't last 25 or 30 minutes and they charged me 51 dollars, I understand that the amount is wrong.

Marissa SThe dolly and the pads which I reserved were not provided when I picked-up the truck by the self-service process. I had to rent a dolly and pads from another location which was an inconvenience. When I contacted the Hudson location on the next business day, they were not able to issue a refund and explained that I had to contact the drop-off location (Salem). After numerous phone calls, I eventually was refunded, but it was a very time-consuming process. If I decide to use U-Haul again, I will only use a location that is open during the pick-up process.

Lucas GThis location has terrible network coverage (Verizon). The Storage Plus employee was gone when I tried to return my truck and the network connection was so bad that the page timed out before it could load my account. I was trying for an hour to return my truck while my babysitter was stuck at my house with my infant and toddler. I was only able to return the truck because I resorted to asking a neighbor who lives next to the parking lot if I could use their WiFi. It was an incredibly frustrating experience and I recommend selecting a different location for your rental pickup and return. The actual truck was great and the check out/in process was otherwise fine, if a bit involved.
Charlotte BYour truck was a safety hazard. Swayed on the road. Hard to control steering. Hardly had any breaks. Aircon didn't work. Tire pressure light was on right after I drove away. Dolly wasn't loaded although I paid for it. The truck was decaying and old, very old. I shall never hire U-Haul again. I apparently overrated your company

Derek LUhaul should follow through with good customer service. This location doesn't have good customer service. This location should give attention to scheduled pick up times for truck reservations. My time is important. I expected to be treated with respect and I didn't get that respect. I was supposed to pick up my truck at 10 AM in the rental office was closed and locked at that time I had to wait around one hour and 15 minutes to get my truck.

Jean HThe Hudson location folks told me I could come in and pick up the truck on Saturday because they are closed on Sundays. On Friday, they told me they closed Saturday at 2 pm the next day (their normal hours). I went in at 11:45 am and they were already closed. They left a sign with a number to text or call for help. I did both but was completely ignored. I was frustrated and tried to use the "pick up your truck" system using my cell phone. What the U Hall folks didn't tell me was that you can't use that until your appointed hour of the rental so in fact I could NOT pick it up a day early. I wasted an hour between driving, there and back and trying to figure it out with the nice folks at the 800#. Next morning the online "pick up your truck" system didn't work because of problems on their end, and it took 55 minutes with the 800# folks who admitted that their website had been very spotty to use since December. Eventually she had to beg her boss to make an exception and they did the process manually which gave me the code to the lockbox to get the key. My crew was waiting around, and I was stressing out the whole time. What a nuisance! The online drop off process, however, worked perfectly. The truck was fine and in good shape, although they neglected to put in the furniture pads I ordered, and they still charged me for them. I don't know if the staff there are stoners, or just don't care, but the experience was not pleasant.
JOSEPH DEasy pick up and return. I arrived at my reserved time and there was the vehicle, waiting for me and ready to go! It's surprising how many truck rental businesses can't say this! Excellent service, perfect vehicle for my project, easy to use and very affordable. UHaul is my #1 choice!

Paul BMy pickup was very confusing because I was not told in the emails or voicemails I received that the location would be closed and I would be doing after-hours pickup with a lock box. When I went to the website to try to check in, I had already completed express check in, and my account page had a notification at the top prompting me to complete check in but when I pressed it it just reloaded the same page. I was hesitant to complete the checkin on the website because I did not know that my key was in a lock box, and I was afraid that if I completed check in and then couldn't get the key I'd be charged for the truck - I was not informed that I'd be provided a lock box code upon completing checkin. The phone numbers for the location provided in the email went to voicemail because the location was closed. I called the 800 Uhaul number for help and they had a 55 minute wait time. Finally I got help by calling another Uhaul location that was open, and they told me about the lock box and to go to the Pick Up My Truck page, which was NOT the same page that listed my reservations and had the notification to complete check in. It wasn't listed on the dashboard and took me about 10 minutes to find. I finally got my truck an hour late. This was a very stressful experience and it would have been so much easier if I was sent an email informing me about the lock box procedure
Erica Sthe pick up place customer service was excellent-we are NOT happy with UHAUL it self I was guaranteed a pick up location I had call that the 800 number 1 week prior and they said YES it was going to be there-Thank goodness I called the day prior of pick up only to find it was NOT there and elsewhere-very inconvenient since this was a time sensitive event I had to rearrange the other place we were meeting and dropping off the items we needed the UHAUL for-I would NEVER recommend UHAUL for a first time user next year for this event I have to think about where and what we are going to use for the fundraiser we needed it for

Sean MU-Haul Neighborhood Dealer 49 Houghton St, Hudson, MA 01 I made a reservation for 8 a.m. signed up for the 24/7 check in, called U-Haul the night before- was on hold for 25 minutes, I wanted to ask about the check-in process because I wanted everything to go smoothly. I was running a little late to begin with, then when I tried checking in on the website with my phone I repeatedly got an error message saying they were unable to determine my location. I had just use my GPS to get to the U-Haul location, my location was turned on. so I had to get on the phone with U-Haul I was on hold for forever by that time the guy working at the storage place / U-Haul got to work... I told him what was happening and he could care less, I think his exact words were" what you want me to do" and "we will see"... Like WtF. so at the same time I was on the phone with U-Haul I was talking to the guy he brought me into the office and checked me in on the computer while the lady on the phone walked me through the process of actually going to the website having to click settings, click on a couple other things type in U-Haul and click location on. I've never had to do this before and didn't know there was such a thing... The U-Haul storage place does NOT have WiFi btw. After I was checked in I told the guy I was in a hurry, and I'm late he said"that not my fault" I replied I never said it was I just got to go...he then started to explain things and highlighting things on my paper purposely going very slow. I rummage through my pocketbook found my own pen, signed the paper and took off. The mirror is cracked, he told me about it. The brakes would skip sometimes when stopping. The driver door only shut tight when slammed really hard. The trailer hitch light on the dash would come on and stay on even though I didn't press the button. There were numerous burn marks on the driver side ceiling from cigarettes. Next time I will definitely go to different location or find a different company to rent from.
Jennifer DI had to go out of my way to get another item that I needed. The person where I was supposed to pick up item. the item was not there and she didn't know of it not being there. So I had to go to another stopand was supposed to get additional mileage. I didn.t get this I had to pay on other end for this. I should have got another day in the first place. This was the worst expierience with u-hall I have ever been involved with. I will never use u-haul again.
