Had a problem with drop off. Due date/time was 12-30-2019 7:00 AM. When I called 800 number (on Sunday) message said to call back after 7:00 AM Monday. I attempted to turn in vehicle at 609 J Clyde Morris, NN, VA because they were the closest location that opened at 7:00 AM. They were not very helpful but I was told that the vehicle had to be returned in York County - where no locations opened until 9:00 AM. By then I'm more than a little frustrated! Luckily when I arrived at the Stor More location at 7307 George Washington Memorial Hwy, (scheduled to open at 9:00 AM), they were there on already on site and were very helpful. Seems to me the rental location should be aware of this potential problem and do what ever necessary to resolve at time of vehicle rental.

The sliding door on the trailer did not move well - it got stuck half-way going up or down and required a considerable effort to get open or closed fully.. I had difficulty with my reservation, as well as check-in at this location. The system was very slow, and my original reservation was lost. My payment was lost on my second reservation. The technician hooked up my trailer, but after loading, the chains were dragging and sparking on the ground. I was pulled over on the interstate to tie up the chains more tightly.

The trailer rented was great, did the job that needed to be done. However, i needed an appliance dolly and a furniture skate and they were not available and i didnt find out until the day of the rental. Overall, friendly service and great trailer.

Uhaul needs to reduce mileage rate for smaller truck vs. larger piece of equipment that justifies the !.29/mile rate

The expectation was not set that we would not have any assistance to load the trailer. It was dark and raining. My husband hurt his back trying to connect the uhaul trailer to the uhaul truck. He had to pick up the trailer and move it while the employee told him which direction. It was a terrible experience compared to my previous one with Penske. It was more, but definately worth it for the service. The only other person working was a pregnant female with a very unpleasant attitude. Not much help with attaching the uhaul truck to the uhaul car trailer obviously, but no customer service skills were complete garbage. Sucks that we didnt have a backup plan. Never again!

This location has the best customer service. I have never experienced a more friendly, and efficient group of people. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door, and taken care of quickly. The truck was clean and ready for me when I arrived. When I returned the truck, it was a quick and easy process. No hassle at all. Highly recommend Stor Moore for rentals. They also have great prices on their storage, as I needed something temporarily to hold my items. Danielle's customer service was great! Ask for her when calling to get your truck or storage unit. You wont be disappointed.

Karen and Fred were very helpful and friendly. I don’t know anyone that likes to move, but they made it as hassle free as possible. Also the truck was spotless. Best rental experience I’ve ever had.

If I recall correctly, her name was Karen and she did everything she could to ensure I had the vehicle I needed, when I needed it. She personally delivered it to my home because it was not available at the time at the intended pick-up location. My service was outstanding and I cannot think of anything that could be done to improve it, otherwise than the company acknowledging her above and beyond treatment of me as a customer. It was a very stressful time and I greatly appreciate her commitment to assisting me. THANK YOU!

Only issue - reserved a trailer but location talked my wife in to changing to a larger one “at same price”. Clearly, they needed the one we reserved for someone else. We had no need for the additional room. The trailer was more difficult to handle; especially when in reverse and gas mileage was significantly worse due to increased weight and poorer aerodynamics. In total, the fuel issue cost me in excess of $50 extra. I feel I should be reimbursed for this added expense.

The employees who work at this location are hands down the nicest, most sincere group of individuals we have had the pleasure of dealing with in a very long time. They go out of their way to make your experience it’s best. You will not be disappointed if you rent from them. Wonderful experience and exceeded our expectations.

I was not told information and no one takes ownership. I went over mileage and I was not told if I go over 100 miles the truck is no longer 19.99 it goes to 79.00, in which if I was told I would of went with a bigger truck so it would of been 1 trip. The manager just made like oh well and if your not happy call the CS at Uhaul. I regret working with that company and would never recommend and will not use them for truck nor storage. They are horrible with communication and customer service. I want them to fix the $79 for the truck and be charged only .39 per mile. Only $15.92 is owed.

No money returned for days not used. I returned rental early and I was told there is a no refund policy for those days. It does not seem fair.

The staff was very friendly. They loaded the truck beforehand with the dolly and furniture pads. They even turned the truck on for us to cool down the cab while we completed the paperwork. Solid crew. A great experience.

First off this was not the location I had reserved one. We had to drive to 3 or 4 locations to find one because even after confirming our reservation they didn’t have one. Then the uhaul trailer we actually had sounded like it was falling apart. Scariest 9 hour drive ever. Worst experience ever. Not even an apology from uhaul. Very sad and will be telling everyone about how bad our experience was

Worst rental experience ever. I was charged for an extra day after returning the truck 1 day early. I was overcharged for extra mileage. I was over but not by the amount started. When I contacted the drop off dealer, he issued an incorrect refund and said I would have to call the pick up dealer to get it straight. The pickup dealer said she could not help me because she no longer had my contract. I had to call 800 uhaul. Great service. I will call Uhaul, but will not rent a Uhaul aagin.

The truck's left reverse light was out. The staff at this location was very professional, friendly and helpful. We were greeted outside and helped immediately. The facility was clean and pleasant. We had planned on using the Warwick Blvd location, but they were so unhelpful and unprofessional, I was happy to take my business to Yorktown. I would absolutely NOT use the Warwick Blvd location knowing that the Yorktown Stor Moore Uhaul was just a short drive away. I would 100% recommend the Yorktown location yo anyone.

The online system is not properly synced with local availability. My reservation was changed three times within 2 days prior to the date I needed the truck even though I set my reservation 2 weeks prior. The hour I was able to pick up the truck set my move behind several hours.

i think the only thing is prices i had pay almost $1000 for the u-haul i could have had it for 4 days but used it less than 48 hours i think if people return the vehicles in half the time they should get like a partial refund like25%-50% cause you can rent it right back out

My only complaint is that I had "reserved" a trailer in Williamsburg and then learned that I would have to pick it up in Yorktown, 25 minutes away. It turns out, your "reservation system" is only aspirational, If I reserve in Williamsburg and if you don't have a trailer there, you should deliver one.
