They changed the hours from what I requested on line to what they wanted and fidnt tell me so I was late bring it back and they charged me for it

The truck was clean but it was very beat up on the body of the truck and it ran very rough. It's a very good thing I wasn't traveling across country with it , because I don't believe I would have made it out of the state.

Update it so that you can find the location when people attempt after hours drop off! I had my settings on to share my location and was told Uhaul could not find my location. It’s crap that I have to pay an extra $20 because you can’t locate me (I had full signal, 4G, and a full battery on my phone)! Make sure you can return the truck during business hours or Uhaul is charging $20! This is not a poor reflection on Ace, their service was great!

The experience in Crawfordsville was good. The person who helped us was great. Our issue was that we originally reserved a truck at a location 45 miles from this location, in West Lafayette, IN and were not notified that UHaul arbitrarily changed our reservation and notified us less than 12 hours from our scheduled pick up. We had movers at 2 locations that had to be rearranged and the man at the UHaul on Sagamore parkway in West Lafayette could have cared less about our dilemma. It was as if he did us a favor finding something within an hour vs. more. We will never reserve a UHaul again now that we know they have the right to change the reservation at the last minute, with little or no regard to the plans people have in place around said reservation. Basically, your reservation does not mean they actually reserve the vehicle requested several days out.

Contract 88143654. The trailer we rented had the back axle not attached and had 2 tires that had knots on them. It shows that no one has Check to makesurethe trailers are road ready.ws had to wait about 2 hrs. To get another trailer was just lucky the axle never broke loose on the other side and flew off and killed someone. I never asked for my money back but I wish I had. Someonehad put a new tire on that axle and they should have noticed the spring wasn't attatched. Next time I will look it over myself since we never did before I left all they did was hooked it up to my truck and said bye.
