Overall experience was pleasant except for the booking time didn't correspond with the business hour time and it took awhile to go through the reservation process even though data was already submitted online. In addition, the truck location was far from the store location and required at least 10min walking distance back and forth to pickup and drop-off the truck.

Scam alert. This place is run by a thug who stays in the back until you come back to return the truck, then he comes out to haggle you with tricks to scam more money from you. If you must rent from here (which I don't recommend), take a lot of pictures, every step of the way. Keep your dealings to min, don't buy anything at the store (STEREO1). Just avoid it if it is all possible.

The female employee at this location when I picked up the vehicle was outstanding, the male employee at this location was lazy, argumentative and simply the most unprofessional person I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The blankets were neatly folder in the back in the van, he screamed across the parking lot that we needed to take our "shit" in because it's a "rule", he then had the nerve to call customer service where he was informed that it was not my job to do it. He then swore as he hung up on the customer service rep. Total crap service

Waiting for 2 hours outside this location for them to open. My reservation was for 8:00 AM. Location opened at 10:00 AM. Lost my moving window and $200 due to the delay. Terrible service.

The lady who processed my contract was kind and patient but the other guy out back was not nice at all. When I picked up my rental van I asked if I should extend how long I would use it in case I needed it longer, the lady said it should be fine and to drop off the keys in the orange box outside. I hadn't planned on having the van for more than 2 hours but since it took about 30 mins to get my contract processed, plus with traffic conditions at the time (4-6pm) I was later than expected and didn't get the van returned until close to 8pm. I received a call at 7:12pm from the man who was there (don't know his name, he was a young black male) asking where I was and I told him I was on my way. He was upset and hung up before I could even speak much. When I returned the van the door was locked so I did the mobile check-in and put the keys in the bin once complete. As I was walking away the man comes out of the building and starts yelling at me "Not cool bro" and "What's wrong with you?". I said I did my best but he then started muttering other profanities under his breath as he go into his vehicle and drove off. Now, I'm aware that people have things to do in their day-to-day lives but that kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable, especially from a customer service point of view. I had a trying day moving as well but I would never treat a customer like that. I won't be renting from that location again (Stereo 1 on Highway 7) and definitely won't be recommending anyone to do so either if that's how they're going to be treated.

Signed the paper. The van was ready to go. Returned the van before time, fully filled up, got it inspected. No hassle at all. As an improvement, recommend Uhaul keep the seats clean from hair or fibers.

The rep at this location was not helpful nor professional - I had difficulty finding the location and he was rude on the phone calling me “an idiot”. Then when I arrived - he did not even hook up the 4x8 trailer for me - I had to hook it up myself - luckily I had seen YouTube videos to ensure it was hooked properly but this added a lot of stress to this move. I would definitely not recommend this location to anyone and this location does not represent U-Haul well (unprofessional and not service oriented).

Customer service was really bad using bad language and very rude. I didn't expect that behaviour. I was speaking over the phone with branch manager and received rude answers and hanged up the phone on me. Seemed like he didn't care at all.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. when I was picking up the truck I had to deal with lots of problems such as the guy working there wouldn't come to check the gas and km which it wasn't that he printed on paper and after when we were dropping the truck off again same problem, he's there but not willing to come and check the truck, he tells me to pretend he's not there? I was so surprised and shocked at the same time with his behavior like he was doing me a favor by doing his job, I have rented Uhaul before aswell in other locations such as weston rd and Welson area and had great experience but after this horrible customer service and experience with this guy at this location I honestly dont refer Uhaul to others because even after I called uhaul customer service and there wasn't anyone out there that could explain to me why this happened and why they trust and give there name to such a people who dont value and appreciate their name. Thank you

online registration was very difficult it should be more seamless between the pickup store and computer....I really don't see the advantage other than booking the item the advantage of on line. it also kicked me out a lot...not a great website. Also I got charged for the insurance when I picked on line to opted so now I have to waist more time to get refunded.

The guy did everything to get me the service, but he's ill mannered and I think he thinks he has great authority... he acts as someone given to power trips. He actually 'ordered' me to go get change and barked at me to go park it where I found it. He may not mean harm, he's probably jus an ignorant person who grew up with ill mannered people

I paid for 2 utility dollies to be provided with the truck. Dollies were not there and around 3 pm we returned to location to get the dollies, but location was already closed (despite the sign saying working hours until 4 pm). We tried calling U-haul customer service, spent 20 minutes waiting for a next available customer service rep and hung up, because we had to continue moving.

If your Mobile Doesn't work properly, why you using it. Called stereo multiple time but he didn't even answer one time. Wasted 2 hours just to get the Truck. Rubbish Service , Rubbish staff. Expensive charges compare to other local truck rental companies ! !

Agent had a poor attitude, like I was doing him a favor by bringing my business, both upon pick-up and drop off. Seemed I was more of a bother taking him away from his primary work (selling stereo parts and installing systems). Didn't take much time to explain anything. Truck was parked a ways away. Told me to go walk there. Didn't walk me through anything. When I returned the truck, I parked it in exactly the same spot as I picked it up - about a 5-7 minute walk from the store location. When I dropped off the key, the guy was working on car in the back and when he came around to the counter he told me I should have parked the truck out front. He then copped an attitude and when I gave him the key, he tossed it about three feet onto the side counter and went back to his work in the back. I will never use this location again. UHaul needs to have a conversation with this guy.

After reading the reviews I was apprehensive about renting from this location, but since I was renting a 20-foot truck one-way I didn't have much choice. This location is not as bad as a lot of reviews suggest. Some reviewers were upset that the limited parking meant that the trucks had to be parked around the side, maybe 200 meters away. That's a 10 second car ride, or maybe a 1-minute walk. Some other reviews indicate the renter was upset about things that they clearly had not read properly, such as having their rental location changed. If they had read more carefully, the location the renter specifies is ONLY a "preferred" location and may not be possible. I will agree with some reviewers that the staff there is a little abrupt and could improve his people-skills to make for a more pleasant experience, but I was there to rent a truck not make a friend.

No washer fluid, which is a safety hazard in the winter!!! Van was dirty. Unattended dropoff was a pain, as I was charged a cleaning fee because I reported that the van was still dirty from when I picked it up

The rep was impolite and mislead customers to buy CDW in spite of declining it in reservation. Overall my recent rent price was higher than I expected, and considering unrespectful attitude of the dealer, I will never go to this location anymore.

This was by far the worst experience I've had with U-Haul. Not only did the location open 30 mins later than it should have, when the person finally arrived and opened the door, I tried to lend a hand and hold the door open for him while he did something with the security gate. Without asking to let the door go, he instead shoved my arm away spilling my coffee onto my jacket sleeve. Once I and 3 others finally got let in, there was no greeting or acknowledgement. Instead, the guy went right onto the phone to call someone and immediately started cursing to whoever was on the line. After he was done with that conversation, he simply swivelled on his stool to face us and said "Ya?". I'd rather rent from another company than go with this location again.

This guy is a complete, rude jerk. I requested moving blankets on my online order. In store, the owner said “one or two bundles.” I said “one.” There were no blankets in the truck, nor did he give them to me over the counter. When I called to ask where the blankets are, he said “why didn't you ask for them?” I reminded him of our conversation. He said “so do you want to come back and get them or do you want to remove the charges?” Charges were removed, and I moved furniture with some improvisation as I had to get the truck back in time. There was no offer for extra time. Just “bring the truck back by 2.” This guys was so rude and unprofessional, I absolutely refuse to rent from this location to be treated like this. Check out the Google reviews on this clown - they all say the same thing.

When it is dark, there is no light to complete the verification if you arrived via taxi. The nearest open diner was far from the truck, the time it took to use the restaurant for the process and walk back to the truck timed out my reservation and cancelled it. At first, customer service told me there was no way to give me access to the truck I was standing in front of that I had reserved; a different department gave me access. The bigger trucks are also parked far from the uhaul rental business. It took one hour to merely pick up the truck all in all. MY RECOMMENDATIONS: Advise customers to be dropped off so that they will not be stranded if there is a problem. Do NOT let customers use this location for overnight pick-ups. Have different departments of UHAUL understand what can and can not be done for customers.

I rented a mini truck very close to my store, I was thinking to walk there to pickup, but I had to go to higyway 7 and keele when I was there I had to walk away to get the truck, I ask the store's owner if it's possible to drop at the place I rented he was rude and told me if I drop there will charge me double and some others
