Customer service was excellent! They helped with putting information for the return in the app and maintained professional and courteous customer relations. The ball joint for hook up did need a little service for a better grip and tightening, but overall is good.

Gary EHave the right truck there that was ordered. I wanted a van or pickup but because I'm in a rural area you decide we can't have them so not only do we have to pay more miles because we are rural but we have to pay more per mile. So I rented a 10' that I wasn't even going to fill 1/8 of the way and they gave me a 20'. Then I had to listen to it whine all the way to my destination, I called, they said they would send someone out, the person said they arrived but I got no notification and the person said I had left the area. I was in the same spot from 9:30 a.m.-11p.m. and have 100 other vendors with me as well that can say I was there. So the truck wasn't looked at, so I had to listen to the same whine all the way home. When I complained I got "oh well" we will give you a $10.50 credit because that is the difference in the gas from a 10' truck to a 20' truck. I will never rent from Uhaul again and I plan on putting my experience up on social media, especially how rural people get screwed by Uhaul since we can't rent the smaller vehicles. The customer service is appalling. The "supervisor" I talked to said that the people sent out he would have a conversation with. That doesn't alleviate the hours I spent in the Uhaul listening to it sound like it was going to blow. His response was it was still safe to drive, your nerves and continued patronage don't matter to me at all.

Edward SWE PAYED MORE THAN DOUBLE THE CONTRACT SCHEDULED. Which was for one day and 100 miles distance plus insurance. When we asked for an explanation for the excess charge on the credit card, we had to insist on receiving the bill and on our 3rd call we were closed the line, referring us to U-Haul customer services.

Natty CNot happy had a nail in trailer tire called called was put on hold for 45 minutes. Had to add air 3 times costing me $10. Got to my location was told that place did except trailers. Had to drive extra hour to drop it off. Last $1,000 I spend with uhaul.

I had some uncontrollabke issues, when i arrived. The Realty co. Wouldnt allow trailer on site until lease was signed.( 1230 Monday) fortunately it all worked out.. Big thanks to Steve..!
jon sWorker said he marked my return as complete and I parked the truck in the back as requested. Perhaps he did not as the next day it still wasn't marked as returned and o had an extra day charge that was not applicable and had to go through the process to get a refund for said extra day.

Carl NI fell in back of the truck which caused me to be late when it’s raining and snow the floors become very slippery specially when you’re moving big equipment within the truck you think they would have anti slip grip equipment I have pictures of my elbow that won’t let me up load I’m contemplating on contacting my lawyer..
terra gWhen we picked this Uhaul up it wasn't ready ( said it just came back in, had this happen before at this location truck not ready) sign it in and out at the same time. There were a lot of scratches that wasn't marked on the outside of the truck ( got stung one time because we didn't check the outside before we left) one of the backup tail lights was out and the cup holder was broken. One thing I would like to see done before you pick any Uhaul that they clean the windshield before they give it to the next customer (we are moving so I rented a lot of Uhauls this year some of the windshield were ok, but a lot needed to be cleaned.
Judith PMy issue is having to drive 40 miles away from my local uhaul and still didn't get the size truck I needed. No one compensated me for having to pay my own fuel the extra 40 miles one way. Never mind the time lost. I had made the reservation at my local uhaul in town 3 weeks prior and was told one would be available, it wasn't. In the words of Jerry Seinfeld - "I don't think you understand what a reservation is."

DARLENE BUhaul 800# was SO HELPFUL!!! STERNS LUMBER EMPLOYEE SHOVED ME OUT THE DOOR AND SAID HE HAD TO PICK UP HIS KIDS HE WOULD PUT THE TRUCK ON TRUCK SHARE AND I WAS LITERALLY FOLLOWING HIM OUT THE DOOR AS WE WERE STILL TALKING SO I THOUGHT AND HE LITERALLT JUST GOT IN HIS CAR AND LEFT. CLOSING TIME is 5pm. This was at 425pm he left me standing there unknown what I'm supposed to do to get this truck. Thankfully the people at 800# walked me through it but I was an hour late because of this nonsense and I'll NEVER RETURN AND TELL EVERYONE I KNOW TO AVOID IT!!!!
Tiana AToo much to list here. From customer and timely service, trailers in poor condition, and not checking in my rental until after I received notice that it was over a day late(I turned it in 2 hours early), this location needs work! I was very dissatisfied with my rental experience.

IMPROVE--EVEN IF YOU HAVE A 'TRUCK SHARE PICK UP' understand there may be issues with that pick up and h ave someone available to help instead of being told "he'll be right back" thus making the arrival of the truck at the loading site LATE AND THE MOVERS I HIRED HAVING TO SIT AND WAIT BECAUSE OF ISSUES WITH SIGN IN" Also, maybe train your staff , ALL STAFF, INCLUDING YOUR WORTHLESS REGIONAL MANAGER, TIM MCDERMOTT, that inconveniencing customers , acting condescending and trying to BLAME the customer is THE EXTEME IN POOR CUSTOMER QUALITY. I will never use your company again and will advise all my friends and family to choose differently when deciding on a moving company and to choose a company who actually cares about customer satisfation .

JODI RWe brought the gas back to the proper level at the station right across the street (we have the receipt). This location charged us for $26 (approx) for fuel. First time in over 30 years of truck rentals that this has ever happened.
Richard MSince we had to drive over 2 hours to pick up and over 2 hours back home, I was not happy with that as Uhaul gave me excuses on a Uhaul 10' truck not being brought to the Presque Isle location I had requested a month in advance. The extra mileage on my own vehicle and gas was a lot. The location itself was fine if you were in that area. The guy there was very nice and helped us a lot so I won't give that location a bad review but I will give Uhaul itself an unsatisfactory review on pickup.

JOHN RThe brake and turn signals were not working when the clerk said it was and I was good to go. When he went back into the store My wife got out of the truck before we left to verify it, they were not working . I reinserted the wiring harness to get them to work.

Glenn CI was supposed to do mobile pickup on Thursday evening since they close at 5 and I was coming up from Massachusetts. I couldn't pick it up because I wasn't left a key anywhere. They didn't provide me with a pickup code for the lock box. The next morning, I go there at 7 since that's when I was told they reopen. They don't end up opening until 730. The guy checks me in and says, oh Uhaul, why would you do this, apparently they truck was overbooked. Of course I'm not happy about this because I came up from Massachusetts the night before to load the truck, then to find out the truck is actually overbooked. He canceled they other person since I was there first. The uhaul wouldn't of even been there if I was able to pick it when I was supposed to. So now, this other person was out of a truck.
SEANA WTruck should not be in use as this truck has mechanical issues. Drove the truck on the interstate and the truck violently shakes and rumbles. I drove for 3 hours in this truck. It was shaking so much I Ithought my teeth were going to fall out. I explained this to the manager and was told the mechanical ussues would be taken care of. Truck in general was filthy. Windows had dog slobber all over the passenger side. Should have been offered a refund.
Michael BAfter the hassle I went through to get the truck, I get an invoice saying I was being charged $25 to clean the truck (it was clean when I returned it!), that I went over my miles ( again I went out of my way to pick up the truck adding over 50 miles to my rental), and that the fuel was low (the tank was full when I left it!). This is the 3rd time I've used uhaul and the 3rd time you messed up my reservation. I will not be using uhaul again!!
TAMMIE CThe "check tire system" light was on and all the UHaul agent said was "the light will go off when you get driving. A neighbor who is also a mechanic happened to be out when I drove the truck into my driveway. He noticed the low tire and checked the tire pressure; the TIRE PRESSURE WAS 25 LBS! He checked the other tires (all different psi: front tires psi, 60 and 62, other rear tire, 72 psi) and inflated thelow tire enough so I could return to the UHaul location; a UHaul agent put in additional air to get the pressure up to 70 lbs (tire max psi is 90). I would firmly recommend that no UHaul agent release a truck with low tire psi and the tire psi should be checked on release with each tire psi listed on the rental contract. With the tires at approximately 70 psi, my trip went without any problems.

Stephen HThe owner was very rude. "The person who deals with Uhaul isn't in." I then asked "When I asked when someone would be in?" His reply was "I don't know. " I asked if I could have someone call me he sighed and took my name and number. No one called me back. I called 2 days later and I spoke with an employee who helped me reserve a truck. Would never recommend uhaul.

Sharon JDropped off after hours. uhaul.com/share would not allow us to take a photo of the clean trailer and therefore could not complete the drop-off procedure. Also, eventually needed to get out our tire jack to lift the trailer off of our hitch and ball. Wouls have appreciated knowing that at the start of the process.
NELSON CHad an overcharge after dropping at this location. I don't think it was intentional, I think misinformation from a computer might have been the problem. I dropped the vehicles off after hours. U-Haul corrected the problem and refunded the overcharge!
