I booked over the phone. After I arrived to pick up my truck, it took almost two hours before I was finally on my way. The app wasn't working, nor was the website. It was 7pm and the location was closed. I had to call support and wait for them to call me back. By the time I left it was dark and I had to load the truck in the dark.Jay P.

This was not the location I originally selected. There was an issue with my reservation and wasn't able to pick up my truck for two hours. I reserved the truck online and the price was not honored. I spoke with someone at the Utah transportation office and they refused as well to honor the price online. I'm reaching out to an attorney to hopefully recoup the difference of $1100. I also reserved two bundles of blankets and they didn't have them for me.Jared W.

Worst experience of my life. No one was there when I went to pick up my vehicle. Once I finally got my vehicle after an hr I found that I had no dolly that I had reserved. Had to wait another hr in hopes that someone else would return the one they had. Truck was dirty, and the charging ports did not work. Spent over 2 hrs on the phone with different employees trying to get this resolved ans all that happened was being transferred multiple times. I will NEVER rent from uhaul again and will tell all my friends and family of the poor experienceJessica S.

Gross and dusty cab, the truck was in pretty poor condition, and the back was dirty. I had to sweep it out myself. It smelled like wet dog, and was covered in dog hair, making my stuff hairy and smelly. Also I had to call U-Haul customer service in order to get my truck because the truck share wasn't working, and they closed two hours early for no apparent reason. And when I turned the truck the next day, they closed an hour and a half early again!DAVID L.

U-Haul switched my original pickup location in Pleasant Grove to this Orem location. U-Haul texted me the address for the switch but not the Company name for the switch. When I input the address into GPS it brought me to a different location somewhat nearby. I had to call to get the Company name and input the name into GPS and brought me to the right location. The employees at the store said that many times GPS brings customers to the wrong location. IF CHANGING Pickup or Drop off locations INCLUDE the company name as well as the address.John P.

The van was dirty from the last person that used it. I understand that a person can be charged for not cleaning, but that charge should be used to clean the van. There were styrofoam bits all through the storage area, and the windows were filthy with fingerprints. The rental I picked up only had a quarter tank of gas left, which makes me nervous to drive it and frustrated that I would receive equipment so low on fuel.Michael M.

Truck was dirty when picked up. Dirt in back, dirt and cigarette ashes in front. This was noted during the mobile pickup. When we returned the truck they charged us an additional $25 for cleaning even though we returned it in the same condition we received it.ALLEN A.

The cleanliness wasn't the issue as much as the ratchets. I am not sure the best way to maintain those, but they were really tough to use. I would be nice to have had them lubed. Other than that, wonderful experience. ¡Gracias!Benjamin G.

When we went to return the auto dolly, the office was closed. The window said closing was 7 pm. I called UHaul national number, they said the location closed at 6 pm. It was only 5:26 pm. I really worried about leaving the dolly out overnight in front of the office door.Michael G.

My only question was that I was charged for 2 gallons of gas. The paperwork said that if I brought it back in with 3/4 to 7/8 then I wouldn't be charged for gas. It was exactly at 3/4. I even tried to put in a gallon myself after the gas station but couldn't get the gas cap off. Because it was at 3/4 I didn't think I'd be charged. I went a total of 16 miles.Amy P.

Make sure the truck is/has been cleaned. Inside cab floor was very muddy. Had to wash it out myself w a hose. Renter indicated it had just been used for some â€œconstructionâ€ work. Truck container floor still had rocks and a lot of dirt left in it.Gregg M.

Vehicle exterior and cab interior were dirty. I think however that the employee responsible to clean the van fell ill right before we picked up, so we understand. Everything else was great--a nearly new van ran well and gave 18 MPH over 1568 miles.Karl Scott A.

It was easy to drop of the truck I rented, but since I turned it in on Saturday and it was due on Sunday (when the office was closed), I would have been comforted by seeing a sign indicating that rentals due to be returned on Sunday would not be charged if they were returned before Monday morning.CHARLES W.

I ordered a 26' truck for my move. The web site indicated that it was available where other locations close by did not carry the equipment. Two days prior to my move to the UT dispatch office called and indicated that my truck was not available at my location but at one further away. I know times are tough, but when your system confirms my truck at my location when I place the order, I should not be charged fir the extra miles to get the truck to my location. No extra miles we're offered not provided when I requested then due to the mileage difference between the two facilities. I was given the choice of driving extra miles and being charged for them, or take a smaller 20' truck at my requested location. I was even told that the extra space over the cab made the 20' truck actually 23' long. I am not sure if the rep even knows your trucks, but a 2'x7'x3' space; which also exists on the 26' truck, does not make it 23' long. As a result of the change in equipment, forced on me, I didn't have enough space to load all of my belongings. I have had to make 5 additional trips in a suv to unload the storage unit and transport my belongings to my home. Per your statement on the web page which states I am owed $50 if my ordered equipment is not available, I believe you owe me the $50. $50 is more than the mileage ($1.29/ mile) charge that the dispatcher would have provided (approx 20 miles). I have rented from Uhaul for over 40 years and this was the first time I haven't been satisfied with the service of the company or the local agent. Reed - very dissatisfied customerReed S.

Due to the increased need for trucks, the one that I used had not be thoroughly repaired from a previous break-in, nor was it cleaned (dirty in the cab and glass under/behind the seats). But other than that the truck worked for our needs perfectlyKim F.
