Friendly place and very helpful.. will definitely rent from them again.
JOSE GGave us a truck that had no mirrors. Had to go back in and redo the process to get a truck that had all working equipment. Also, needs to be more pleasant and not rude/demanding.

Richard GTail light was out and did not notice until we got it home. Then had to return it for another one.
Aaron FI was charged $25 for SafeTow, I did not know ahead of time that I had to be charged that. If it was an option I would have said no.
Michael MI was charged for two extra days because I didn't realize the starting time was recorded as the time we Got to Uhaul in Ohio and not the Time we actually got it. The owner of Star credited me One day which I appreciated. However I didn't realize the rental time is specific to the time we Supposedly picked it up instead of when it was ready
Beth MI originally had a different Uhaul location picked for my reservation, but I was contacted and told to come to the Muscatine location. When I get to the location, the front desk worker told me they didn't have the trailer to haul my car and I would probably have to drive to the Iowa City location to pick one up. We resolved the issue with a smaller trolley to tow my car. When we got outside, the front desk worker informed us the trolley was "technically broken" and the pin for the trolley breaks did not go all the way through. He claimed he knew about the problem but "hadn't gotten around to fixing it." The truck that was given had alignment issues, we had the wheeled turned so far just to drive the truck straight. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience at this location.
Hannah BI had signed up to pick the truck up with the 24/7 plan but I was never sent the access code for the key box prior to my arrival so I had to go in to the location's office in order to talk to the sales representative and then he gave me the code to the key box. If the location had not been open, I would not have been able to access my truck.

Monica CFirst I'm just going to say that I had a ton of trouble renting a truck due to all of your stipulations like I understand the reasons for them but in my case I think it was bogus. $100 extra deposit because you're using a prepaid card is stupid to me but whatever I get the whole cash thing and why it cost more but my bank doesn't the option to let you deposit money over the weekend and I needed to rent it on the weekend and didn't have enough money in my bank account on my card so I used a prepaid one thinking that would solve my problem no not even close so it put my moving off for another week because I had to wait so I could use my debit card. My truck was kind of dirty I brought it back way cleaner than it was when I rented it. But I was late bringing it back that's on me because my help through his back out and him and his wife had to leave and then I had to finish it all by myself. I'm sure that was a little pricey. But all in all I'm thankful for my local U-Haul Distributors because sometimes you just need to freaking truck

gilberto gNot a terrible place - but a collectibles store that's not well-maintained outside. Parking situation was poor as it's a small lot and we were competing with 2 large delivery trucks for parking. Otherwise, usually helpful.

I look forward to petting their beautiful Diesel….. my only comment would be for the return process after hours for the company itself.. using the online return isn't an option for some. Providing a phone call for return would be better. Gracias.

JENNIFER KEmployee just told me to go park trailer without inspecting it or any assistance removing trailer from hitch. Having a recent back surgery it caused me great pain.

Austin YI returned the trailer on the 03/07/2023 (the date it was due back) still during business hours. But it wasn't received in that day as I got phone calls from uhaul both later that day and the day after that the trailer was not received in on time.

Herman SThe younger boy that works at that location hooked up the vehicle transport, took a picture of the connections and told me the instruction on loading my vehicle are on the side. Then he walked away. I've transported my car twice before and was always assisted. Would not recommend this location to anyone. Or at least while that kid is working. Now I see where all the negative feedback come from the location. Mind you, there was no one else there and the weather was not bad that day either.

Dennis FDrop off location smelt of marijuana when I dropped it off. Also frustrated that the pick up location wasn't available. Nearest one was an hour away and I wasn't notified until a couple of days before the move leaving zero time to book something else. Then I was charged extra mileage.
