Issue is not with location. This location was excellent. The issue is our first location was on Eisenhauer road pick up 10 AM. We got there and the truck was not available as it had not been dropped off by previous customer. Gentleman at the location went out of his way and got on the phone to find us another truck. Was able to get one at this broadway location. The whole ordeal put us 2 hours behind on our move. Then my drop off location changed which was not convenient at all. had to call Uhaul to get it changed back to where we wanted to drop off. Had the gentleman at the eisenhauer location not found us another truck would have had some serious issues. He went above and beyond to find us another truck.Joe R.
The truck was full of trash, personal belongings, and broken glass. There was also something hanging off the front of the truck. The agent was friendly and very helpful. U-Haul's system was giving him a hard time and he had to call U-Haul. This was also not the location I had made the reservation for, and he did not have everything I had reserved. I was told to go to a second location to get the dolly and the remaining blankets. When I got there, the agent at the second location was rude and wasn't willing to even help. I was missing 20 blankets and the utility dolly. We called to complain and were told we would be called back. No one ever called back.Shaun F.

Mirrors didn't adjust. AC didn't work. My reservation was almost cancelled and given away even after I already checked in. Was charged for a "dolly" but recieved a flat piece of wood with wheels that didn't work. Returned the truck early and used half the anticipated miles and was charged full price. I will not be renting from that location again. Scammer alert speedy Mart U-Haul location.Nadine E.

Truck had less than 1/8 tank gas. French fries, cigarettes butts, used foot covers and masks, movers pack, and trash was all over the floor! Smelled like a smoker drove cross country. Store keeper wanted me to check in again after I told him I did it online he handed me the key. In general I took 3 showers when I got home.Paula O.
Staff didn't even connect trailer like there supposed to. Left it for us to figure it out. Truck cab was beyond filthy as well as smelled of cat urine very badly. Back of truck was filthy and I had to sweep it out before we could even start moving stuff in. Car hauler was full of gravel and dirt all over the tracks and straps were poor condition. Last thing was when I received the truck it had 7/8 fuel level and I dropped it off with a bit more then it had when I picked it up and was still charged for a gallon of fuel. I have picture proof of fuel gauge when I picked it up and also a pic when I dropped it off so there shouldn't be any charge. This was the worst experience I've ever had with uhaulDUSTIN R.

It was odd to pick up my truck at a convenience store, but it was fast and easy! My only suggestion would be to have blankets and a dolly to rent. I had reserved those on my original reservation and had to go to another location to get blankets. Luckily the Moving Help guys I hired had a dolly.KIMBERLY B.

The truck was dirty soda splashed everywhere, seats were sticky. ashtray was full of cigs. Cigs were on the floor of the cab. It also reeked of smoke. Gross!!!Erika R.

Individual working was not very helpful; previous store didn't have my equipment so they made a reservation for me at this location and printed off the confirmation. Went to this location headed him the reservation confirmation and employee said it didn't exist even though I had the confirmation number and everything. He also had stopped working with me several times to help other customers in the convince store which made this process last forever almost 45 mins I lost count after 30 mins. And stopped counting after he stopped to help at least 8 customers one even asked the clerk if he needed to finish helping me! Clerk also made me write down all of my information on a piece of paper. Would not recommend to anyone that values their time. Will not be coming back to this location againâ€¦.. there was also no after hours key return. Fortunately the agent I spoke with on the phone was very helpful!MICHAEL G.

The truck smelled of sweat and had not been cleaned from the previous renter. The proprietor was professional enough, there was a problem with the rental; he told me about it and signed the contract acknowledging the issue. I appreciate the honesty, so four stars.Jeffrey W.

We were very upset not at this location but with Uhaul the company. We order a rental from another location for Sunday April 18, 2021 but when we showed up the whole Uhaul network was shut down they could not rent us the trailer and we could not call the 800 number or any other number listed. We were forced to rent a hotel for the night and schedule this location for the next morning. No notice or apology were given and we were not notified in advance. Even though we had given our phone number, email and credit card when we made the order??WILLIAM M.

Arrived to pick up the truck at 10:00 AM Sharp. The man in the store gave the impression he had no idea what he was doing. The reservation had everything needed for my trip. He then removed the insurance for some reason. I clarified insurance was already added since the original reservation. The truck was dirty with bird poop all over the front and windshield. The location is terrible. The gas gauge was only on 1/8 of a tank and we had to stop at the first gas station to fill up. I've rented multiple trucks from UHaul over the years with no complaints.Robert P.

The failed to attach one of the safety chains. There is no excuse for such carelessness or such poor training. Clearly they did not know what they were doing. Even the chain they did attach was done incorrectly. I put the blame for this on U Haul. You should train your dealers.Audley H.

The owner of the convenience store was trying to help me pick-up my rental which also serving a long, steady-stream of customers. He had no other people helping him which led to not only it taking a really long time, but no one to help me attach the trailer to my U-haul, help me park my car on the trailer, etc. He also could not access my online reservation, so we had to do a new one that didnt have all my previous options (furniture pads, insurance, etc) selected. Thus, my furniture pads were forgotten and then an entire new contract had to be done which took over 30 minutes... just for furniture pads. It was exhausting and wasted a lot of time.paul E.

Yet it took + 1 hour of standing in a grimy convenience store while the clerk tried to do whatever and kept asking for information I had already supplied and then could not enter it anyway. Then I get the trailer which had no wiring harness. I cannot believe you put this place at the top of the list for me or anyone else to pick up anything. They didn't know what to do with my reservation Was there more then 45 minutes waiting and was been charged more then what it supposed a trailer rental with tax and all is 32.99 and the we're charging 59.99 ) I rent to offen and after all the paperwork was done I had to do my own hookup and was very bad service and experience. No assistance with the equipment. They had the trailers' hitches sitting on the ground so I had to lift it by myself to hitch it to my truck. Had I been a smaller or younger person, I would not have have been able to do this. The trailer was missing the light connector.Casey A.

There was no one present to assist me in hitching the auto transport trailer to the truck I rented. The location was not well-stocked as they did not have a furniture dolly. The people who helped us at the Speedy Mart were friendly but not at all helpful when it came to hooking up the trailer (they gave us very quick instructions which I'm pretty sure were wrong. We ended up watching YouTube videos to figure it out). More importantly, though, the trailer we were given had a leaky tire. We noticed this when we were only 40 miles into our 1,400-mile trip and had to call roadside assistance. We ended up losing 3 hours to the issue. This could have been avoided by the Speedy Mart people checking the equipment to ensure that it was functioning properly.Jean F.

It was a small mart, kind of dirty, and the proprietor asked me to take a picture of the fuel and mileage and didn't even check to see if the truck was OK or not. He was nice, but it just didn't seem like a first-rate approach.larry B.
