We arrived at the drop off location at 9:45am. We waited until 10:50am for the employee to show up to work. Another customer was also waiting for the facility to open, which was supposed to have opened at 10am. My first attempt to return the truck using your online drop off web site, resulted in the app telling me that my mileage usage was 29,000 miles, even though I had entered the mileage correctly. It made no sense that the app would have known who I was, as it did not give me an opportunity to enter a contract number, or any other unique identifier to make such a calculation of mileage. There would have been no way for it to have known the mileage when we took possession of the truck. Separately, apparently, I exceeded my allotment of 85 miles, why such a low allotment, I don't understand. I could understand an excessive mileage charge had I driven the truck 500 miles, but I was not expecting a charge for having exceeded estimated travel distances. My last rental was with Penske, and I had no such mileage overage assessments charged. When I selected the same web site from my uhaul text message, it correctly knew who I was and calculated the mileage correctly. But because I was now using this method of return, after 10am, (the time I was to return it), the web site was assessing me a late charge. We purposely made sure to get to the drop off location on time so that if another customer was expecting to get a truck that morning, we would not be the cause of any delay. When the employee finally showed up for work, we returned the truck at the facility with her assistance.JOHN H.

The location was fine, but the experience was not. Vans seem to be in high demand at the moment. I was able to get the rental but not at my preferred location. Somersworth was at the other end of town. I had my rental to end by 5:00 and I received an email that it was changed to 4:00 With traffic and stopping to fill my tank I arrived at the location to turn my vehicle in at 4:35. The location called me numerous times asking when I would be back at the location making me feel more stressed and rushed to get back to the location. When I finally arrived, it was very uncomfortable. The keys were grabbed and it the transaction was fast. I do no think I will be renting from this location or Uhaul for a while. The van was not even cleaned or wiped down after my use.Kaitlyn G.

I was not told that I only had 1 hour to pick up my reservation. We arrived on site and tried to follow the prompts and change the reservations but it didn't work and we sat on hold for 45 minutes and then discovered the key was in the lock box unlocked so we took it along with a dolly (which we had reserved). I received an email that my reservation was canceled I immediately called to let them know I did get the truck I reserved. She then accused me of stealing the truck. I found her to be very unfriendly... I feel the reservation process should be easier and explained better. When I reserved the truck I picked Biddeford for pick up location and then the reservation was emailed it said Somersworth, NH (over 1 hr away)... all in all not an easy or enjoyable experience.Kimberly W.

When I reserved truck they messed up my reservation and then it says in big words on side of truck rent for 19.95 a day plus mileage they charged me an extra 50 dollars for just rentalsTrinity V.

At first I was â€œGuaranteedâ€ a truck at my local location for 8am. Then my appointment to get the truck was switched to a new location for 830. I arrive at 8:15 and the Uhaul place didn't even open until 9. I wait until 9 (because the Uhaul app and website wasn't working for â€œexpress checkoutâ€. I go inside and the Uhaul places internet wasn't working .... fast forward until 9:57 after suggesting I use a paper contract rather than the electronic and I finally left Uhaul with a truck meanwhile all my helpers had been waiting since 8.Anthony F.

I originally ordered from pick up location in Dover NH which I could which I could walk to which was confirmed on line. I received a call saying they had no truck available and scheduled me for somersworth which cost me an additional 20 dollars for an uber. This was frustrating but both dover and somersworth were extremely nice and competent. More of a corporate problem since website confirmedDavid D.
Have more of your other locations run like this one. Was a great experience. I hate moving I've done it to many times but the staff (including Mr Hank) were the highlight of the day and made for a much better moving day. Thank you very muchWarren T.

They called me twice because they lost the keys...wow. I handed the keys to the lady who called and woke me up twice in the morning because she was irresponsible and lost them. It was also annoying I was forced to go all the way there to drop it off in Somersworth instead of Dover. Again, thanks for not informing us about the gas charge. The 26 foot truck I rented was the perfect size truck for the job. I was also pleased with the price. The truck on the other hand had some hard miles on it. I could tell the front end was loose on the highway. Not good if that deer had run out in front of me. Good thing I wasn't going interstate. I had to keep the the window open. I could hear an exhaust leak and the fumes were entering the passenger compartment. The on line rental was well done. The employees were excellent.Michael S.

The customer service on phone was rude and terrible to me . I reserved a truck for my move and for it to be in somersworth, nh . They called me the day before and told me there wasn't going to be the size truck I reserved and if I wanted it I would have to drive to a far destination to pick it up when I was moving already to a long locations . Customer service did nothing to accommodate me or apologize . We had to talk to the actual place and they let us have a trailer to hook up to it . This was the worst experience for me.
