Make sure the service station where pick up was ready instead of long wait time. We were on a time restriction therefore losing 30 extra minutes made us late hauling which cost me extra😩

I am going to file a formal complaint. I received the vehicle with 1/8 tank of gas and returned it the same but was charged nearly 70 dollars in gas fees. I fully expect a refund

We got a $50 reimbursement due to the truck leaking gas, and a good samaritan who drove behind us reported it to Uhaul. We did not know until Uhaul called to inform us while we returned the truck. The critical detail is that we added gas when we picked up the truck and when we returned it (again, not knowing the truck was leaking gas the whole time). When we got the transaction receipt after returning the truck, we got charged for fuel because the truck didn't have the same gas level as the pickup. We are contesting this charge because we did our part of adding gas, and it wasn't our responsibility that the truck wasn't holding gas. The $50 reimbursement was for causing the inconvenience, as we could've been stranded in the middle of the trip or got into an accident due to the gas leak. Both parties (Uhaul and we) got lucky that nothing serious happened. At the same time, we shouldn't be responsible for the additional fuel charge. We reported the dispute a week ago but never heard back. We've just called again to request a refund. We hope Uhaul will do the right thing to credit us for the fuel charge.

This is a gas station, and we were not provided any receipt or confirmation the truck was checked in/transferred back to Uhaul - we just handed over the key and were told "ok, thanks!". We were expecting either a paper receipt or email confirming we returned the truck to Uhaul as per the contract. Only after calling Uhaul did we get confirmation of the return. Next time we'll look for a real Uhaul location and save the worry. Otherwise, the rental and move was fine!

Charged twice for furniture pads that we never received, even after driving out of our way to a different location. Truck was given to us with a 15 mile gas range which is unacceptable. Truck was in horrendous condition with graffiti all over it and the cab looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. Had we not been desperate for a truck we would have walked away. Currently disputing charges with UHaul since they charged a $25 “cleaning fee”. WAY not up to Uhaul’s normal standards. Go ANYWHERE else!

The team there didn’t really know what I was doing there, if the truck was okay to drive (after hearing the counter person on the phone I was a bit scared to drive it after hearing the last person had problems with it driving), the door wasn’t closing right which was something in my mind while driving it as I didn’t want to fall out, and the return process was difficult as I did not know what I was doing and the counter person didn’t speak English.

We had rented a dolly, along with the truck. We did not feel comfortable leaving the dolly in the truck overnight, and the person at the gas station did not sound responsible, when we asked him about if he could take the dolly. We ended up keeping the dolly overnight, and then returning it to the Pasadena Raymond location the following day. It would have been a shame if the dolly had "disappeared."

The truck was filthy extremely dirty on the outside. It looks like I hadn't been washed in 2 months at least. First thing I did was drive ait home and rinse it off cuz I wouldn't want to be seen that way. I was also forced to certify that the vehicle was clean because I tried to put it wasn't and then Ilit asked for a photo but it would not load the photo. I also tried to call customer service just before pickup to make sure the vehicle was still there or to get any help in case there was no one there to help me pick it up and there was a 1-hour wait to talk on the phone. Luckily I just showed up at the place of pickup and there was a nice U-Haul rep at the gas station that helped me which was a bonus and much appreciated. I was initially scheduled to use my phone as a contactless pickup but I could not get your application to load on my phone as it was way too complicated to figure out I was going to cancel all together until I drove over to U-Haul in the nice lady help me out.

Trucks don't need to be washed , but a clean windshield would be nice. Gaz and Rhiianten were very helpful and knowledgeable. I was confused on the charge i was billed 135.00 .but when move was complete truck returned mileage accounteded for, total was 74. and change. I'm not sure what I was billed watching for my bank statement.

Truck only had 1/4 tank of fuel on pickup, interior was smelly and sticky. The inside of the box was dirty, lots of hay in it, rags, broken side board and the blankets were just tossed in a pile on the dirt covered floor. Won't be be back to this location. EVER.

I had to move up my reservation by 2 weeks at the last minute, which meant I had to find a truck nearby on < 24 hours notice. I didn't get the rental for as long as I needed it, so I felt rushed. AND, extremely frustrated to be doing everything ONLINE on my cell phone... I'm not a technophile. Then, the truck only had 1/4 tank of gas for my 150 mile trip one way. I couldn't figure out how to adjust the mirrors (there is no way). So, after arriving 10 minutes early, I didn't leave the pickup place until 45 minutes after my pickup time. The checkin experience would have been much easier with a U-Haul employee there. So, no more ONLINE checkins for me with U-Haul.

The kid running the gas station couldn't be bothered. He was working off of a laptop, took pictures of our ID's, and handed us the keys. I asked about a rental contract and he replied that he'd emailed it to us. This means that if we got pulled over anywhere on our trip, we had no way of showing we hadn't stolen the truck. The truck was dirty and hadn't even been swept. AND the gas gauge wasn't recorded accurately. I asked about the moving blanket/pad things I'd ordered. He didn't have them and he couldn't be bothered to give a crap. I was on my own. I had to go to the store where I'd originally planned to pick up the truck and talk THAT guy out of moving pads. I couldn't HAVE a lower opinion of this location, and after being a Uhaul customer for over 20 years, this kid at this location has given me reason to take my business elsewhere. If Uhaul sends you to this location to pick up your truck, I'd cancel and call Penske or any one of the other rental places.

There were no available supplies (dollies, blankets, boxes, etc.) My truck didn’t have the things I ordered. Spent most of the morning scrambling to get what I needed from other locations. Wasted so much time.

Need to be honest and reliable. Never come back to this place for adding up 50 miles more on an actual 150 miles i drove plus charging me fuel fee even the gas level when i returned was higher than it was when i picked up. Fortunately, i did take all the picture as proofs.

Although I completed the on-line check-in, I still had trouble at the pick-up location. The system kept demanding additional phone numbers. After giving it all three valid numbers that I own, it still wanted a FOURTH phone. If four numbers are required to rent, tell us that during the on-line check-in so we can get them ready.
