I reserved a truck over a week before I needed it. I reserved it for a mobile pick up, before the office was open. After getting there and trying to get the keys I get a text saying this location can't do mobile pick up. So I had to wait an hour and a half to get a truck after they opened. Had people waiting i help me move and I could not get a truck. I don't understand why they give an option for mobile pick up if it's not an option. And then I don't get any reimbursement or discount after it was their fault I could not get my truck when it was reserved.CHELSY S.

Tires had to be inflated (3 tires) before I could leave the location. Staff when I rented was very pleasant and helpful. Staff when returning walked out of the store as he was answering my question about the charges. Told me I'd need to talk to the manager. He said he didn't have anything to do with it.Christine K.

Service was VERY slow. I understand training someone new but maybe hop in and choose another time when there isn't a line going out the door. It took 40 minutes from the time I arrived until I left. Since this was just a several hour rental and someone else had the van in the afternoon I was unable to finish what I needed to get done. The staff was very friendly and professional but the systems were slow and just trying to train new staff at an in opportune time. Also there was not much room to move around inside the store so it was tight quarters when people were trying to move around.Justin C.

The staff, only one guy, was extremely friendly and helpful. He was efficient with his time but obviously had several irons in the fire. Despite that, he went above and beyond to ensure that our needs were met. I believe he must be an exemplary UHaul employee, and that UHaul should pay him well for the pride he takes in his work and to the appearance of the store. He has many house plants thriving in the place which speaks loudly to me about his caring natureMARY V.

The employees looked like they had either just woken up or just left a bar and were very slow and non-chalant. They wore sunglasses the entire time, which is very disrespectful and unprofessional. They were sloppily dressed. One person in line said she'd been waiting 30 minutes just to purchase a plastic mattress cover/bag. I waited over an hour to be waited on. Im not sure what the point of a "guranteed reservation" is because when we got there they didnt have what we reserved. The resolution he provided was to have us go across town to another location to rent from them. When they were closed he suggested we go to the next town over. When they were also closed he finally asked if we would take a larger truck that had been turned in while we stood there (there was also another truck sitting outside). This is a service that charges by the mile, sending us a town over should have been the last option. Fortunately we were only charged for what we reserved, but getting there and being told "sorry, we dont have that" was not a great moving experience. It almost felt like we were expected to just say "ok! Guess we will move on another day!". Very frustrating and disappointing.THOMAS P.

There was only 1 truck available and they kept warning me not to drive over 35 mph when I left. They were sure to provide me with the uhaul road assistance number "just in case". The truck wouldn't go over 15 mph and would stall out and jerk around. It was a traffic hazzard just driving it in town. Took me 3 times the time to move because the truck moved so slowly. When I returned, I offered anyone in the building $100 if they could get it to go 35 mph - they smirked and said they warned me. The guy said he'd give me a discount because the truck was such a piece of crap - but he charged me full price. What a joke. I will make sure that I tell everyone I know that Uhaul and this specific location are a bunch of rip-off artists who don't care at all about their customers or their customer safety. Completely disgusted with the quality of the equipment and the service provided. Worst experience ever.THEODORE B.

The staff didn't show up until right at 10am and had no sense of urgency when helping all the customers waiting. You should have the people that took care of their order online so they didn't have to wait in line for the customers that didn't register online. I didn't get my truck until 10:30, however had registered to pick it up at 9am. No discount was given and I also registered and paid for 2 utility carts, but was not given them to use or refunded the money I paid for them. Very, very unhappy ðŸ™RENE S.

I turned my rental in on Friday (the day I was to return) at about 2-3 pm local time. I get my bill on Sunday saying I kept my rental two days longer. I DID NOT keep my rental until Sunday, either someone was late processing my paperwork or I've been scammed into being charged extra. Low on wiper fluid, and windshield wipers needed replacing. We were caught in a storm. - not a good situation. Also, the cab was dirty and had cigarettes in the ashtray. Reserved blankets but only six were available. Added an inconvenience on an already stressful day. Would have been good if they'd been set aside for us. Didn't answer the phone. An answering machine or way to text would be good to relay change of plans.DAVID F.

I appreciated the time taken to explain how to load and secure a vehicle to the car transport. The â€˜hitch inspection' went quickly and we left with the trailer attached in less that 30 minutes. The return of the car transport was a simple drop off and notify. This is the first time I had used a car transport. All went smoothly! The only recommendation I have is to check the tie down belts that went in the ratchet system. They are fraying on the endsâ€¦making it difficult to slip through the slot on the ratchet mechanism.WAYNE F.

Couldn't figure out where it was and informed me there was one in Coralville. Why would I drive all the way to Coralville and pay all those extra miles. Then he rented me a small uhaul. Reserved a truck at the Westdale location. Went to pick it up the morning of, waited about 15 mins in line and then was told they don't have any one-way trucks so I had to go to the Center Pt. Rd. location. Went there and waited in line for another 15 mins only to be told they couldn't rent the truck out to me because U-Haul assigned two different customers to one truck. Ended up waiting about 30-40 mins for it to be resolved. Very unimpressed.Morgan B.
