I have rented a storage unit for the last four years, and I have a very nice experience. The place is cleaned, well kept, very accessible, and very well managed. Thanks!

I turned the key pad in on Oct 6th 2023 at 7:30pm. No one checked the turn in box to see if the key was there. Dec. 13th 2023 I got a email saying that I owed $390.00. Wow doesn't anyone ever check the box or check to see if there is a lock on the storage door. Tried to call the office many times no one would answer. The office is supposed to be open until 5pm but when I went there at 4:30 pm it was closed. No I am not happy with your business. The kid that is there is useless never answers the phone doesn't check the key box and closes up early every day.

I called to see how late they were open. Online said 5:30 but when I called he said 5:00 but I could do mobile check in. I told him I would be there before 5 as I don’t like mobile check in and he hung up on me. I showed up at 4:50 and they were gone. Did mobile check in and they left the wrong key in box. Waited in hold for 20-30 minutes with the 800 number. Natasha was very helpful and I ended up taking the bigger truck that I had the key for. I thought the location was very bad but the 800 number was very helpful

After midnight, we decided to extend our rental. I called and left a message requesting a call back to do this as app would not allow it. Was told their office opens at 7. Called at 7:10, again no answer. NEVER received a callback to this moment.

Used to be very nice but has went extremely downhill since new ownership took over. Gate is always open, trash everywhere not being kept clean, person that operates desk hard to get ahold of and not very pleasant. And was very concerned with my property there because it appears people are living in there campers there.

Except for the drop off, this whole transaction was a disaster. Just check your records and you can see why. Although I scheduled a 15 footer two weeks in advance, I had to do with a 10 footer which we had to use for two trips instead of one which created a bigger expense and more hassle for us. If your national people had just stayed out of it and let me deal with Tammy on Telegraph in Monroe, Michigan we would have been fine. She is amazing.

Worse experience for my first time renting the U-Haul.

The pickup location was supposed to be open at 9:30am for pickup. The employee showed up at 9:50am causing us to be late to meet our help lined up to assist with our move. No apology for being late. Acted clueless about any questions we had. Did not come out to do walk around or check vehicle. Just told us to refer to text message of agreement/contract on phone. The drivers compartment of the truck had an overwhelming smell of marijuana present to the point of almost making you nauseous. Overall terrible experience at this facility.

Don’t Awnswer phone. Acted like it was a hassle to take care of situation. Not there when suppose to waited an hour after sign said 9:30 didn’t get there till 10:30

First the guy Cameron working I believe was sleeping everything I went in for help. My furniture clothes were no in the truck then the Cameron guy walked the property 40 mins looking for them then told me I had to drive to another location to get them. I went to that location which is on telegraph in Monroe mi then when I arrived there the general manager was very very very rude and gave me so much trouble to pick up these blankets. Total bullcrap

Better info from person at location. They could care less about helping me as if I was bothering them. Will not use this location again.

I began using Sherlock Storage almost a year ago while transitioning living situations. The receptionists were incredibly helpful and friendly. About half way into my time I noticed a change in the customer service. Each month I called to make payments the staff was very cold and didn’t seem to have customer service phone etiquette. I would end the call not knowing if my payment was complete or if I was good to hang up. Just a note to consider as you move forward.

It's a nice all around place it's the 3rd time I used this storage facility, everybody is really nice and willing to work with you, prices are fair, facility is clean and secure. The only thing that I would change is that I would make it 24 hour access for the renter.but other than that I give it a solid.... A...

The guy (can’t even call him a gentleman) working at the facility was probably the worst person I’ve ever dealt with. He did not talk to me after I told him I was closing out one of my units. He fumbled with his phone and computer for about 5 minutes and then mumbled something about the computer being down. I told him I would be back the next day. When I came back the next day, he was on the phone and again, I waited for about 5 minutes before he even acknowledged me. I told him I wanted to close out my unit and then he printed me a paper but acted clueless when I asked about the automatic withdrawal payment. I sure hope he did it correctly and I don’t get charged on January 1st. Besides the very poor customer service, he was disgusting. Stomach hanging out of his shirt, food on his shirt, and a container of eaten food laying by his computer. I sure hope this guy isn’t the owner.
