i booked 20 ft truck online, location McCoy East Side Quick Lube on Monday 10/28/2024 for pick up date on thursday 10/31/2024. when i arrived at that location to pick up that truck. He refused to give me that truck as he was saying that some one already paid for that truck on wednesday and he can not give that Truck to me. The priority should have been me as i reserved that truck early on 10/28/2024 and i already received the reservation no. before wednesday. But i had to settle for 15 ft truck from different location Sentry satellite & Tv at OLLA which was more than 25 miles further. But when i arrived at that location to pick up the truck, the shop was closed already although i got confirmation to pick up the truck from OLLA location. Then i had to call customer service and get trucks key from lock box. Because my initial 20 ft truck reservation was denied to me , i had to settle for smaller truck and i had to drive back and forth twice. i end up spending more money and i had to drive 6 hours instead for 2 hours. ( from columbia to shreveport is 2 hrs drive, so from columbia to shreveport then from shreveport to columbia then again from columbia to shreveport) if i had gotten 20 ft truck as i reserved it would have saved me lots of money and lots of time. i was so exhausted from driving that long. Both u haul locations, "McCoy east side"and "Sentry Satellite " Sucks!!!!

Did not receive the dolley I paid for, Truck was dirty inside cab and in box, (Fold seat down and there was splatter from a drink, and mud/dirt in passenger floor board,Box was not swept out before pick up) took truck anyway because we was on a time crunch, Ended up having to buy a dolley from Lowe’s

This has nothing to do with the location as the location was very good, but to do with Uhaul. I will not be using Uhaul ever again due to how your reservation process is lacking. I was not informed that I would have to provide alternate contacts that you would NEED to contact before reserving. I struggled as any contacts I knew were working and had trouble getting someone that I could get a hold of. What point does having your employees call someone just to ask if they knew me serve? They didn't have to provide a credit card or anything so IF I don't return your equipment what point is having called them going to do? If I was the secondary contact for someone and you called me trying to get information on them I would tell you that is your problem, so again what point does having your employees waste my time, their time, and my contacts time just to ask if they know me? I worked for Uhaul back back in 2008 and I have used uhaul for multiple cross country moves, around town moves, and recommended Uhaul to friends and family which in the past two days has completely changed. I have now told all family members, including the ones I struggled to find as my secondary contacts to never use Uhaul again and will be telling all of my coworkers and college recruiting teams for when we hire and move people to our offices. I get discounts through my bank and professional organizations that have always been cheaper then Uhaul but I used Uhaul for the convenience of your many locations, this new policy of having to contact and speak to secondary contacts for what purpose I still don't know has caused enough of an inconvenience to start using Penske, Enterprise, or any of the other rental companies. If you are having issues with pieces of equipment being stolen or abused maybe you shouldn't be forcing self service use of your equipment and actually have employees check in and out equipment. If you would like to discuss this I am open to discuss why this is a new policy and have ideas of what you could do differently. Unless the policies change or someone actually contacts me to discuss this ridiculous policy I WILL NOT be recommending Uhaul to anyone for anything. Before submitting this review I tried to use your "contact form" but as there is no selection for feedback I'm not wasting anymore of my time trying to give suggestions through electronic means, if anyone would like to contact me you have my email, phone number, as well as my secondary contacts that are well versed on my feelings here.

It's a long story, involving 1st trailer rental (wheel came off), a new defective refigerator, an initial rental agreement for the 2nd trailer that stated no penalty for return to Jena, your agent in Olla that changed the agreement without telling me, your clerk in Alexandria telling me that that what I get for not reading the final contract, and your new invoice 92 days later for $107.26 (82.00 drop off penalty). Contract 73532153. Your agent in Olla (Sentry Satellite) is a poor businessman and is untrustworthy. I have rented Uhaul trucks and trailers for over 50 years - this experience was not positive. The owner a Mr poppy attempted to no let me have the rental I already paid for. Only after calling the guy I made the arrangements with and handing him my phone he tossed my phone down and still gave me an issue. I walked outside and called my lawyer who advised me to try and amend the situation before taking legal action. After about 20 minutes of the hour I wasted there did he call me back inside to act as if he was allowing me as if it was he was the owner of uhaul itself to take the rental. Very poop customer service, arrogance, and disregard for anyone. A person with his shit attitude should not be in charge of even the most miniscule thing because he has a power trip over being the gate keeper to the equivalent of a pile of dog shit. Thanks for the horrible customer service, a filthy truck, shotty equipment. Thanks Mr. Poopy

Pick up location was changed without any confirmation or notification. Had issues with the 24/7 pick up process and it was a disaster. Will avoid using Uhaul ever again.

My husband and I rented a 6 X 12 trailer. About and hour into our trip it started fishtailing. We were going to return it where we rented it, but decided to drop off at a different location due to problem with it. We called uhaul to find a different location. Talked to many different people and departments, both by phone and online chat. Were disconnected, put on hold, shifted from departent to department, sent to 5 different locations and wound up returning it back in to original destination. The one location that we could have returned it to was going to charge us $300.00 over original cost to leave it there. Worst experience we have ever had with uhaul and we have rented from them many times. Only thing good about this experience was Sammy who originally rented the equipment to us. So nice to us and apologized for all the trouble.

There wasn't anybody even at this location to help me and my daughter lift the trailer and get it off the truck so we hurt ourselves lifting it off the truck. It was during business hours and the open sign was up but t door was locked. Will never do business with the Olla,la branch again never no exceptions

Paid for dollies and didn't receive them . I was told that I had to pay a $100 deposit that I would receive back and I only received $30 dollars back .

It's very dark in evenings after hours it would be helpful if the parking lot had more lights so it would be more visible when turning in the unit after hours.

I ordered a 20 foot truck. They never called me to tell me they only had a 26ft. I ordered a appliances dolly. They had one but couldn't rent it because it wasn't in their inventory. I needed the smaller truck because of the tight space I moved from. I had a hard time loading my fridge, washer & dryer without the dolly
