Originally we reserved at 324 S Larkin, but the gentleman claimed he couldn't log into his U-Haul computer system. So we called the U-Haul corporate, and they were able to help us get set up for this facility on Jefferson instead. They also said on the phone we would be credited $50 for the lost time and added driving to pick up the truck, but we have not seen that, not sure if that is being handled by corporate or if they were just blowing smoke up our rear ends. This Jefferson facility was able to get it done, and we were good except for losing the hour and the inconvenience of going to a second U-Haul that morning. In the future we will reserve at this one, first.

The Self Storage World Staff was very friendly and nice. The UHAUL system is just atrocious and to not have any fall backs to count on when your system isn't working is a bit of an oversight.

The mile reader was off. I’m a truck driver I drive for a living and use the same map app every single day it’s accurate. The truck still picked up almost 30 miles I DID NOT DRIVE. SCAM

I would recommend the location but not the service you have gone down the reservations and now when we return the truck we gotta take pictures instead of turning in the keys to the people we have to do all that. If not, you’re gonna charge is 20 extra dollars that’s not good customer service at horrible.

You need to let customers know they need to refill the gas tank or they will be charged for an estimated amount of gas used. Yes, there are signs inside the facility stating this but most people check in using their smart phone. Online, it is stated that a cargo van is $19.95/day plus so much per mile. I only used the van for 4 hours and was still charged the daily rate of $19.95. I think a full day is still considered 8 hours. You need to be a little more specific. Also, it cost me more for the insurance than it did for the rental! I thought $26.00 was a little steep.

I rented a 26 ft truck number JH2245D…on 8/31/22 at 9:55 am for 1 day. It needs a wheel alignment very badly, was stalling, and cut off on me twice that night, so I couldn’t move effectively, and was not able to return until abt 2 pm the next day because of the issue due to the individuals I had helping me move had to go to work, so I was with out any help for 1 load and had to wait till morning to find more help because they work 12 hour shifts. I believe the transmission needs to be serviced, I advised location of matter, the rep at the office said she was going to advise manager and see if he could waive the fee for 9/1/22 and he still charged me for that day. I think that was very inconsiderate n unprofessional, due to your vehicle not being maintenanced properly.

Fully check the vehicle. It had next to no washer fluid and the tires were leaking air on the passenger side causing a tire pressure sensor fault error.

The woman at the front desk was very professional and helpful. I had some issues getting the truck started and she walked out and gave me a quick tutorial on the step by step. The store was clean and would definitely recommend this to people.

The truck was low on gas when I got it. The trip computer showed it only had 32 miles to empty. I would expect a rental to have at least 3/4 tank at a minimum. There was also a noticeable smell in the cab.

I didn't read the gas mileage fine print but the gas hand was definitely not what was said 3/8th was circled but it was a tad bit of 1/4th but I'll definitely pay attention to the reading nexttime

Truck was very heavy with smoke oder ashes on sit and as opening door to enter flew in my face . the cargo area was not swept broken hangers and cut twisty ties All over. The eco control bogged truck. struggled to go up a road incline . not complaining about price !!!

I should get a discount for doing all the work when I turned it in. Taking four pictures to upload as “proof”? And having to record all the turn in details myself is ridiculous, if you turn in after hours, there should be a 25% discount, since I’ve done your job. Once upon a time, you dropped the keys in the box, and your employee processed the turn first thing the next open day.

Get better customer service rep. when I wasn't told I needed to reserve a trailer on line she was Hispanic and kind of vague and indicated NO trailers where available and I needed to go to a different location. A customer suggested I reserve a trailer/van on line and I did for the following day at the same location because it's closer to where I live be more professional please
