You charge if the gas is not exactly where it was picked up from, but need to give a refund if more was put in also OVER the amount. We had to put gas in because it was only 1/4 full on pick up, which is NOT much for winter weather. We estimated higher so as not to have to stop for gas so often. Not sure if this is against the place we got it from or if it is corporate policy. More than 1/4 tank should be in a truck to start out with in the winter when it takes more time to warm it up, therefore, using more gas that the customer has to replace. Otherwise, I have been very happy with UHaul every time I have used them.

The lady who I dealt with was very nice and professional. The truck was clean, and everything worked, no issues. The cost was far less than everyone else, even with gas. Will definitely use again.

Michael FI guess I didn't pay up front enough for the mileage I used. They sent me an email to pay before January 1, 0001 and was super confused. They took out 50+ dollars for the mileage and 30 dollar late fee which I don't think I should have to pay. Won't ever be going back to them. Most places don't charge for mileage!!!

Anthony FOriginally we reserved at 324 S Larkin, but the gentleman claimed he couldn't log into his U-Haul computer system. So we called the U-Haul corporate, and they were able to help us get set up for this facility on Jefferson instead. They also said on the phone we would be credited $50 for the lost time and added driving to pick up the truck, but we have not seen that, not sure if that is being handled by corporate or if they were just blowing smoke up our rear ends. This Jefferson facility was able to get it done, and we were good except for losing the hour and the inconvenience of going to a second U-Haul that morning. In the future we will reserve at this one, first.

Lisette GYou need to let customers know they need to refill the gas tank or they will be charged for an estimated amount of gas used. Yes, there are signs inside the facility stating this but most people check in using their smart phone. Online, it is stated that a cargo van is $19.95/day plus so much per mile. I only used the van for 4 hours and was still charged the daily rate of $19.95. I think a full day is still considered 8 hours. You need to be a little more specific. Also, it cost me more for the insurance than it did for the rental! I thought $26.00 was a little steep.

jesus cI rented a 26 ft truck number JH2245D…on 8/31/22 at 9:55 am for 1 day. It needs a wheel alignment very badly, was stalling, and cut off on me twice that night, so I couldn't move effectively, and was not able to return until abt 2 pm the next day because of the issue due to the individuals I had helping me move had to go to work, so I was with out any help for 1 load and had to wait till morning to find more help because they work 12 hour shifts. I believe the transmission needs to be serviced, I advised location of matter, the rep at the office said she was going to advise manager and see if he could waive the fee for 9/1/22 and he still charged me for that day. I think that was very inconsiderate n unprofessional, due to your vehicle not being maintenanced properly.

joseph dTruck was very heavy with smoke oder ashes on sit and as opening door to enter flew in my face . the cargo area was not swept broken hangers and cut twisty ties All over. The eco control bogged truck. struggled to go up a road incline . not complaining about price !!!
Cathy DI should get a discount for doing all the work when I turned it in. Taking four pictures to upload as "proof"? And having to record all the turn in details myself is ridiculous, if you turn in after hours, there should be a 25% discount, since I've done your job. Once upon a time, you dropped the keys in the box, and your employee processed the turn first thing the next open day.
