I tried the app 4 times would not work waiting till the day of at 7am to tell me I need to verify 4 ways who I am, who has a passport on them at all times, the window was left open the seat was covered in water and the door had a puddle in the handle, the truck was on E not just above but actual E I took a pic in disbelief, and the place charged me a fuel fee…..I will do all in my power to never use uhaul ever again

Gina T.Old truck, not super clean, but not really dirty. I don't think that is the fault of this location as trucks move around. The required drop of after hours app is useless. Couldn't find my u-haul location as it apparently doesn't include neighborhood locations, only the big corporate sites. Also asked me to scan something, but wasn't clear on what. The only thing I could figure was the bar code on the contract, but that didn't find my info. So after nearly 10 minutes, I just gave up and dropped the keys and contract into the box.
Josh K.Roof is caved in and leaking badly. All my sofas were wet and smelled. When I reported to the office, the person in the office blamed me for not telling them when putting my stuff in it. I asked her how I could have known and she said oh yeah. Then she said she would report it after I move and that was it. She did not even say sorry or walk to the storage to look at it. I spread my sofas and some furniture in the cold to dry at home. They are still damp.
Victor B.Office was closed, no one was answering the phone, and I had to wait for 20 minutes for someone to arrive to receive the truck key from because they were not in the location they should have been.
Shanell E.The lot was small and hard to navigate a 26' ft truck. I'd recommend a return place dependent on the size truck returning. Also, it wasn't the warmest location to go to. I wouldn't have wanted to return the truck at night as this location had me feeling uneasy and on alert.

This location on Greer St actually called me and texted me to let me know my truck was available and on the lot ready to go.

Howard T.Location for pickup was moved from a location close to home to 30 miles away. This created a logistics problem. However the service at Geer St. was so helpful, sweet and professional and I supposedly received a 50 mile credit that I forgave UHaul. Drop off in Myrtle Beach was super easy.

Kenisha M.U-Haul Order # 23215817 Hello, I wanted to contact you about a very unpleasant experience I had working with U-HAUL. Around 7:00am on May 6th, I went online to the U-Haul site and ordered a truck pickup for 5:45 pm that night. Around 11:00am I called U-Haul to change my reservation from 5:45 to 8:30pm. The person on the phone informed me that they changed my reservation and that I would be having a mobile pickup. They told me that I would be receiving a confirmation email or text message soon with information on how to use mobile pick up. I never got an email or a text message, and I could not find my reservation online. An hour later, I called back multiple times and was not able to reach anyone. I then called a different U-Haul in my city, and was finally able to reach someone. I told him that the people at a different U-Haul changed my reservation, but I didn't get a confirmation. He told me that my reservation was never changed, and it still says 5:45! No changes had been made. So, I asked him to change the reservation and to please wait on the phone to see if I get a confirmation email/text. We verified that my contact information was accurate, and he changed the reservation. However, I still did not get the confirmation. The person on the call repeatedly insisted that the reservation was in the system and that something was probably wrong on my end. He told me that I need to call someone to check my internet connection and that my data on my phone was probably full, and that's why I wasn't receiving confirmation. I knew that was not the case, because I'm a teacher who works from home and relies heavily on internet for my job. I had been receiving emails and text messages all day. I told him that I don't feel comfortable arriving to the U-Haul site alone at nighttime with no confirmation. I felt very hesitant about taking his word for it that my reservation was there, but he insisted that I should. He confirmed the details with me, and he told me how to go about mobile check out when I arrive to the site. Finally, when it was time to pick up the truck, I drove to my designated pick up location (Assistive Automotive), and like I thought, there was no truck for me to pick up or reservation. I immediately called the 24 hour support number and told the person on the line what has been happening to me and asked her to help me get a truck. She said that the people at Assistive Automotive did not set the truck up, and I cannot pick it up from that location. I had this reservation since 11am and had confirmed it with multiple people throughout the day. Why would they have not set up the truck by 8:30pm? I found that very frustrating when everyone I talked to from U-Haul insisted that everything was set to go. She then, told me that I would need to go to a different U-Haul location further away to get the truck. She changed my location in the system to Security Self Storage. I then drove to that location, and when I tried to get the truck, the app

jared H.glad that a vehicle was available but it stank and I saw roaches in it while moving. No one want to inherit someone else bugs while moving. The vehicle was not clean nor was the agent very attentive to this.
SIMON S.The staff at this location are sometimes out of the building tending to the property. In order to contact them to pick-up/drop-off equipment or buy supplies, you have to first call an answering service that takes your personal information before then contacting location staff and asking them to return to the office. It's a time-consuming process for someone hoping to quickly pick-up or return equipment and will deter me from buying packing supplies from this location in the future.
