Not over book your reservations. I had a truck reserved in Sacramento but when I arrived to pick it up the guy told me he had just rented it to someone else. He said my reservation doesn't mean anything because they take 3 reservations for the same vehicle and it's first come first serve. The Roseville location went over and above to find us a truck because I had flown one way to pick up stuff from my Uncle's estate to drive back home renting for one way. I was told no one had anything available for one way.SHARON W.

They were busy and only two working. Had to wait awhile to drop off trailer Employee was very helpful though in finding me a trailer available as that was my original pick up location uhaul had booked for me, but trailer wasn't gone be ready so they worked to find me a new location for my date and said I could still drop off with them as it was closer to homeKEVIN W.

I picked up the truck with only 1/4 tank. I extended my rental so I decided to ensure I had enough fuel. The truck was at 3/4 tank when I returned the truck foe check in. Other truck rental facilities will refund you the difference when you provide a receipt for fuel. I was informed upon return of the truck that there is no reimbursement for fuel. This was a huge let down as I fueled to a more reasonable level for a safe move and return of the truck.KATHRYN B.

Check-in process was very unorganized. I had a truck reserved at 9:00am and when we arrived there was a group of 4 customers gathered outside waiting to be helped. I used the 24/7 online check-in in order to make things faster but I still waited 20 minutes while people with no reservation were helped and went through the entire process. Once I was helped I just showed the gentleman my phone and he grabbed keys for me. They should really prioritize checking in for those who have used the online process the correct way in order to get the truck faster.Lee F.

Matt at this location was super helpful! I got a text from central u haul that they changed my pickup location and gave me a later pickup time than I wanted I went in to the Galleria location and Matt remembered me from when I booked a reservation 4 weeks earlier and he fixed everything for me within 10 minutes. He made the process easy for me and removed the stress I was experiencing from getting the text from central u haul. I would definitely recommend this location! I picked up the truck with slightly less half a tank, i returned with three quarters and at $3.42 a gallon i expected a credit $34.20 refund to my contract #94960883. However I was told uHaul doesn't fo that. I asked if I brought it back with only a quarter tank I would have been charged for a quartet tank. The attendant said yes. Well then you can give me a refund (same thing but reverse). He said NO. I said that's unethical and theft. He said let uHaul know. I expect a refund. You can reach me at 916-719-8313.JOHN M.
There appears to be limited staff working there at a time. The office is tiny - one customer only. It is also a large storage facility. All of those factors means that customers have to wait outside (there is a small porch with large posts for people to wait, but it is hard to see who is already there around the posts). Limited parking, so if renting or returning a vehicle you take up two of the four parking spaces! They did call us before we picked up the cargo van to tell us that we could not leave our own vehicle on the premises during our rental, which was very helpful. Despite all these challenges they were efficient and helpful. , They have a sign on the door if they are not in the office and they really do answer the number posted!RON F.

Did an after hours drop off. There's no parking spot for a 26' truck. Called customer service and had to wait for years for them to answer. Good thing there's a guy that went in the storage units I was able to go with him and parked the truck properly inside. 24/7 customer service is poor. I will choose another location that has plenty of parking for after hours drop off.Terence C.
the trailer did not ride well. were limited to 52 miles an hour and could not figure out why. at 700 miles into the trip, the one rear tire blew out. we then found the 2 tires on that axle were different sizes. poor managment. worked better with 2 new tires.richard B.

The pick up location was fine, but the policy regarding changing the pickup location is terrible. My move location pick and drop off was only 2 miles from where I reserved the truck. I found out the day of the love that my pick up location was changed to another location nearly 9 miles. I was charged the mileage and asked for those mileage to be removed. That was denied and I feel that was unfair to the customer. Had I known the location would be changed I would have book with another moving company.
