floyd smithPost screen shots of rental vehicle odometer reading, hold agents accountable for incorrect ‘beginning/ending mileage keyed into your current system in error.. providing your rental agents and rental customers an accessible online portal where a mileage image is available in order to help your customers feel as though they’re not getting slighted bu incorrect mileage being charged. Also, it would be extremely productive and advantageous for both parties to be able to manage (agents) and customers to report and see previous reported dings, dents and accidents on the rental…. Would prevent unnecessary, unfortunately the little stickers placed on such tend to degrade…. transparency in each step of the rental process and ease of communication is what will continue to keep me going back to uhaul verses Penske. Further, in today’s snap convenience of sendi BFF and receiving money, there should be absolutely no reason for any company to continue to hold ‘open charges’ on our bank cards for more than a day - rather than a week after rental was returned. I would like to see the fee schedule return to similar ones in the past, which were structured to be a little more cost effective for in town rentals. Thanks!
Julie RobinsonRenee was helpful and accommodating and apologized for the condition of the vehicle and damage, even though it was rented at a different location. She reviewed the photos I uploaded and I also sent her the additional pictures (the app only allows one picture to be uploaded) of the damage to be included in the record.
Steve RichardsIt wasn't the closest place to drop off the U-Haul and it wasn't the one that was supposed to be in my contract. I had to drive into another state over 35 miles to return the U-Haul! I was supposed to be able to return it to the closest uhaul dealer but I tried to do that and the system wouldn't allow her to take my return! This is BS at the highest level of stupidity!
Roberta SerfacePictures on app show truck fuel was close to 7/8 but bad internet so I couldn’t finish online check in. I was then billed for 2 gallons @ $8.05. It’s not the money it’s the fact that I was required to return 3/4 or more and it was more than 3/4 full. I stopped at gas station less than 2 miles from drop off.

Adam SmallFix the broken right side rail locking pin, fell off about 5 hours into my trip causing the ramp to slide out and drag on the road. I was able to secure it with baling wire. Also fix the left safety chain connector
Ken KellyA hook on the pull out ramp was broke so we had to get under it and hold it in order to slide ramp in for transport. The truck had been smoked in and smelled of cigarette which we are allergic to. The truck inside had not been cleaned. For the price and with COVID you would think a thorough clean would be appropriate.

ROBERT RUGGERIThe equipment worked great. Our biggest beef is with the website not showing the information correctly in all the places and the inexplicable changes in price and other details of the rental between the time of booking and the pick-up of the equipment. We had to call the U-Haul regional office several times about this, which caused considerable stress. Seriously, you need to get this figured out! It’s the only thing that would give us pause about recommending U-Haul to others.

Clay BrownEmployees were very friendly and helpful getting the car loaded on the tow dolly. I hope in future they will draw the attention of their customers to the fact that U-Haul sends out deliberately misleading emails regarding the return time, and that there is a fixed time for return not specified in emails sent from the company, and that any returns after that not-clearly-presented time will result in getting charged for an extra day.

dorthory frazeeThe 319 S HWY 59 location was awesome! Helpful, friendly, communicated well. However, I was originally scheduled to drop off at the location on Holly Street. The woman there wanted me to drive onto neighboring property and pull up a steep ledge, my SUV got center caught on the ledge and I had to back off, then she wanted me to back between a tight space off the same ledge, when I told her I couldn't she told me that I had to or I couldn't drop there. They had about 15 empty parking spots in a completely empty parking lot and she refused to allow me to drop in a parking spot saying that she needed the space for customers (that lot is always empty). Oh and the light wiring that UHaul installed for this rental broke during my trip. I had 5-foot wires hanging out the back of my vehicle and the right turn signal stopped working After the experience with customer service before I even picked up my rental and the experience attempting to drop off at the Holly street location I don't know that I will ever use UHaul again.
