Returned truck after hours, but it is a very small location with several U-Haul trucks already parked on their small lot, so it was a challenge to park a 26', but everything on the facility was clearly marked.

Marlie S.From the time I booked the uhaul over the phone the representative was rude, misinformed, and short. She assured me that the equipment I rented was available. When I arrived at the first location, the car hauler was not available. She expected me to go to a different location to pick up the car hauler. Well, how was I supposed to take my vehicle and the uhaul truck to the second location? Obviously, I rented the hauler because I didn't have anyone else to assist and wasting my time running from location to location was not what I was expecting. I called the rep back and she hung up on me. I was running around town trying to locate my equipment. This lasted 4 hours. Mind you, I was traveling out of state and I was trying to leave around noon that day. That didn't happen. It was quite possibly the worst, most unprofessional, and demeaning experience I have ever had with uhaul.

ROGER O.Originally I reserved a truck at the Highland Shell and when I went to pick it up, they did not have any trucks. They later had to change my reservation to another location. I-Hail had a policy once you make a reservation that, “We'll have your truck or we'll pay you $50.†They still made me pay full price for my rental and has not sent me $50 yet so I think it is just lip service.
David R.The only problem I had was trying to use the online return web site. It would not pick up my location on my phone. I tried following the instructions to allow location services, I tried restarting the web site and even restarting my phone. I finally gave up and called customer service and told them the return web site was not working.

David W.Did a self dropoff return, so we did not interact with anyone at this location. The parking lot was completely full so we had to figure out where else to park the truck and trailer, and it wasn't super obvious where their property lines were. Hopefully we left it in an acceptable location. Otherwise, the online return was very easy and quick.

David T.First of all, we went to this location after another location messed up the pickup place. So, I then got in touch with them and they told me they would call me back in 5-10 minutes. I called back after over an hour not hearing from anyone and was able to get in touch with customer service for the new location and pickup time. I went to the pooler location early and knocked on the door. They all stared at me then finally came to open it saying to complete the online log in which I tried on 2 phones but it wouldn't work. Then, I knocked on the locked door again and told them it wasn't working and the woman seemed annoyed and said “um I mean we're closed†so I stood with her outside in the heat as she watched the failed attempt over and over. Finally, I said so is there any other way for you to confirm my reservation because clearly this isn't working and it isn't my fault. She said No, and anyways we're closed so... then said after I continued to complain fine I guess come in. Then they let me in and locked the door when I noticed two other customers already inside had the SAME problem and she acted like it never messes up when I told her about my issues. Eventually, a man inside was able to confirm, print a receipt and do everything inside which is amazing because according to her 5 minutes before there was nothing she could do and no other way to complete check in. Would not recommend any of the U-Haul locations in Savannah, but especially the Pooler location to anyone. Unprofessional & dishonest.
