I called U-Haul customer service number because of being displaced from hurricane Helene and losing everything from the hurricane. I was unable to switch drop off locations online due to the U-Haul website not working properly, at no fault of my own. I called the customer service number and was told by a manager that it was not the problem of U-Haul that I needed a different location for drop off. I was charged a double charge due to not being able to switch online. This is unacceptable customer service from U-Haul during a natural disaster. U-Haul should be ashamed to treat their customers with such little compassion. I expect U-Haul to make this right immediately. I have been a U-Haul customer both independently and with my business for nearly 15 years. If this is not made right, I will certainly not be able to use U-Haul again. My number is 2294910177.
Jeffrey MWhen you expect to pick up the equipment at the time you select and it doesn't do any good to do so because you can't access the keys because she forgot to leave them in the lock box. Delayed us 2 hours on our schedule.
GARY NThe location is a bit dusty, but I wasn't expecting Buckingham palace. Also- this isn't their fault AT ALL- but for U-Haul to give away my reserved truck & basically force me into a bigger truck than I needed or could afford, AAAAAAND make me drive way out of my way to pick it up--- that was some BS!! I was picking my daughter up & moving her out of a domestic violence situation & to have the added stress from all of these things on top of what we were already going through was pretty upsetting & problematic. Gregory TThe lights where building where storage unit is located did not turn on.
Jeremy WU-Haul changed my location and it was not as convenient. Moreover, the truck had wet mud in the cab on the seat and center console and dash. And in the back cargo area was a muddy hand truck. Someone had dragged through the mud and thrown it in the back of the truck. I had to clean all this up before I left

Barbara SThe app didn't seem to work well when checking in the truck. I had no idea where to park the truck or where to put the keys. I ended up parking the truck along a fence, locked it and placed the keys in the front door drop box.
Glenn WAngie was really on the ball! She informed me how much the low fuel charge would be but I was too tired to go fill it up. After 1600 miles that was as good as it was going to be. The truck ran well and was easy to drive. The air conditioning was not the greatest and there was a lot of wind noise in the cab. There were two of us traveling and plenty of room for our bags and cooler up front. I will not have to move a student from New York back to Texas again but I will never hesitate to rent a Uhaul the next time I need it.

Sandra MMy account was charged for two rents one month, once my access code was changed and I had to repetitively call the number to get access and after I surrendered my keys I received a late payment notice in my email. When I called they said they hadn't processed my move out a week after I moved out. Other than that I had no issues.

Sharon G | Overall ExperienceI was the only person in the store at the time of check-in and I had to stand around and wait for someone to come to the office (which never happened) and finally a second person simply opened the gate and let me drop off the car hauler. It just shouldn't be so difficult to get service at the U-Haul centers. Always have to wait for help. Someone needs to figure out how to streamline your service and get customers in and out fast.

CAROL PAlthoght no fault of the facility I rented from, The rental vehicles needs to be inspected for mechanical safety. Especially a big truck like the one I rented. It was unsafe to drive & I would have returned the truck if I had extra time to move. It was unsafe to drive at night & the steering was loose & the truck kept wandering the lanes. Also exhaust fumes were entering the cabin due to exhaust leak.

Cindy W | Overall Experience1. I was phones the night prior to pick up, informing me I could not get a 20ft - but rather only a 15ft. Reserved for nearly a month. Because I was on foot to pick up I was unable to drive 30 minutes to another town. I left thousands of dollars worth of home goods/ furnishings / outside furnishings and a grill behind. 2. The cab was filthy with dirt covering the floorboards. 3. I literally drove around the corner to my home and the car transporter had a half flat tire.
Tamara Pmy trailer caught on fire and could not get a hold of anyone from uhaul to help me i finally got it fixed on my own and was only refunded the cost of the tire and wheel i had my brother bring me the trailer hasn't been serviced in years I will never recommend them to any one just Lucky i had the tools on my truck to take all the guts out of the brake drum ! Not happy at all !!!!!!!!!!!

Once I begin driving the fuel gauge fell down a little over half a tank and it supposed to be 3/4. Not too happy about that, gas prices are getting high lately.

I didn't think anything of it because the only thing they talked about was making sure I returned the truck with a full tank of gas. The contract also said nothing about cleaning. I used it for one 15 min trip. The location I returned it to charged me a $25 cleaning fee when I returned the truck in the same condition I got it in. The man at LW's told me he would refund me the money and charge the Sanger storage but I was not refunded. Not very happy that I'm being charged for something that I didn't do and was never discussed.

Jennifer HWhen you call the listed phone #, they don't answer as U-Haul, they just say "Hello"! I was instructed to return the trailer to a different city than where I rented one for the trip north in October 2020 and not where I live!

DANIEL TThis dealership could have easily informed me I really need a couple of extra gallons to keep from paying the tip off fee of uhauls which makes me pay an extra 30.00 because it went below the 1/4 tank limit which is what the renting dealer gave me. That is a TOTAL RIP-OFF ON UHAULS PART AND ALLOWS THE RECIEVING OUTLET TO MAKE AN ADDITIONAL 30.00!!
