Jessica MThe lady working here was incredibly rude. We had just parked our car, but she assumed we were there for the hair salon and came out and yelled at us. She told us we aren’t allowed to park in their lot but we were there returning our U-Haul. We also parked well within the parking spot lines but she was angry that she couldn’t back her car out even though she wasn’t leaving yet, and there was plenty of space for her to do so. Absolutely would not recommend going here. Awful customer experience.

Masaru MThe representatives were very capable and helpful, assisting with transactions at three locations. From the location we reserved the truck, we were redirected to the Las Tunas location. Average rating because the Las Tunas location did not have specific items available for purchase, ratchet straps. We then had to return to the first location which was well stocked. The web based reservation and truck rental process was user friendly. Communication and updates were useful.

Rocco OI rented 26ft Truck at U-Haul San Gabriel. I returned the gas same as I pick up the truck, but they still charged me 7 gallons. How do you know it short 7 gallons anyway? (I should take a picture) The truck is way too old for driving. Its already more than 200,000 miles. Feel unsafe and uncomfortable diving this truck. U haul already made your investment from this truck. It's time to upgrade new ones!!! and safe gas! The lady at the counter was so rude.! I am not coming back at this location. Enterprise Truck is better!

Dan BThe truck I scheduled was not available because of a service issue. I was I told they tried to call me and let me know, but this did not ever happen. Then I was told to go to another location and rent a truck. I eventually took a smaller truck as I had a deadline to meet. In trying to process the payment the terminal was not working so I did not get the paperwork until later. Upon returning a truck the second time I was dinged for just 1 gallon of gasoline. The guy in charge is not very friendly and has a pompous attitude. The gal who was there called me an hour later with a snotty attitude and chastised my friend for a messy bathroom as he had injured himself and some blood from his arm fell on the floor. Once I was told that if I was an hour late to pick up a reserved truck it would be rented out to somebody else. I can't help but think this is a bad policy and hope to receive some clarification on this issue.
PHILLIP IThe U-haul person we interacted with was very kind and knowledgeable and walked us through each step. He answered every question we had and offered us space to park our car. All the vehicles in the lot were looked very clean and the 9-foot cargo van we rented was in near-new condition. I'd happily rent from here again.

I didn't get any verbal instructions as far as the policy and conditions for rental. I only discovered this because we had to stop at another u-haul location to purchase boxes. A woman working there thoroughly went over their policy , and requirements for rental with a customer and I asked her about it, and told her I did not receive the same at the time of rental.
Alexandra CCreate incentives to fill tank. Having to return as it was is annoying and sometimes leads to getting a vehicle with not enough to get the day going. I would like uhaul better if I could expect that most likely there was a full tank.

CCHC ZManny was nice enough but my truck was dirty inside and out, but the worst part is I was automatically charged a cleaning fee!!!! Manny said I wouldn't, but because I checked on my mobile that the truck was dirty corporate automatically charged me and Manny said he can't change it. Someone please change it and send me a new bill. This is for a non-profit and I can't afford to be charged for something we shouldn't be. It would have been nice if Manny instructed me exactly how to check out so I wasn't charged! I clicked on the vehicle was dirty, but that's how I got it.

Peggy LIt’s not that the truck was not clean unto itself, but there was a moderate spider presence in the back of the truck and within the cab itself. Some were black widows.
