The process was quick and easy. Most correspondence was through email or texts. Mileage adjusted and final receipt emailed in less than eight hours. Will definitely rent from here again if needed.

Every time somebody came in to buy lottery tickets and snacks, he stopped to wait on them. This happened about 11 or 12 times. Took over an hour to complete contract. Then the didn't have all the equipment I reserved. 3 different locations to get all that was reserved. Very poor reservation system.

LEMONT K.My experience was honestly full of inconveniences. First of all, the system was laggy as hell and it took hours to get my reservation set up. Second, our truck wasn't even cleaned before we received it. Third, I was charged for 100 miles when I only drove 35!!! The guy that runs the place is very friendly and cool. I reserved 6 hours, but returned the truck in like 4.5 and was overcharged, mainly for the mileage. Also, the truck didn't even have a full tank of gas when I received it, so I probably was charged for that as well. $120+ for a 35 mile trip. Rip off!

JESSE G.Appt to pick up the truck was for 10:00 a.m. We get there they say we have to come back at noon because the person who takes care of it wasn't there! We were understandably upset. We were on a tight schedule, we had paid people to help us. They could only give us 2 hours. So they said come back at 11:00. At 11:07 we watch the guy walk out of the house next door to the business we were picking up from. So he could have run over quickly and taken care of us but apparently customer service isn't a priority. He didn't offer to compensate us in anyway. After complaining he gave us an extra 2 hrs time to have the truck returned. Which we ended up needing because we had to do all the work loading and unloading ourselves and pay for help we were unable to use. And we missed other appts as well. What a mess. So unhappy. I will leave this review any and everywhere possible.

SHANNON W.This is a dangerous location to rent from. The guy behind the counter is a liar and sells drugs to people from behind the counter. Not only will your rental not be ready they will treat you like garbage when you try to get the U-Haul. Do yourself a favor and get a Penske, Avia, of Enterprise rental. Overall U-Haul dealers are trash and horrible to their customers. If you want to buy drugs behind the counter of a local "market" this is the place. Their traffic manager is a joke and is rude and never calls customers back. Profits over safety for this company. Do yourself a favor and ask friends to help move it will be safer for you.

MICHAEL B.First the guy own a mini mart that is disgusting as fuck and 2nd he does the whole transaction on his phone then you have to pay and put the card on his versus using a machine which is sketchy to me. If you all sent me there again i would say fuck no i dont need to rent it anymore

Anna G.This event was marred by many things. The initial location for pick-up did not actually have what I reserved. The attendant seems to lack control of his business. The location listed above had the equipment, BUT, he is a one-man operation operating his convenience store and the u-haul business. He's really a nice guy, but, it took over an hour to get the equipment. When I returned it the next day, he did not come out and "receive" it. He just asked that I drop it off and I was done. I later got an email from u-haul asking why I had not returned the equipment. Hopefully that is now cleared up. So, in the future, I will be much pickier about what location I use.
jose E.Waited an hour for the guy to "get back" to rent the truck to us even though everything was done online and should have been super quick and easy. Then he just handed us the keys and walked away. Didn't walk to truck with us or go over anything. When we got in the truck it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in several weeks! It's was the worst experience. I will never rent a uhaul from 5his place again. Uhaul really needs to pay attention to who their vendors are because I'm sure this isn't what they want representing their company.
