The location I selected (Elizabeth Town Fitness) did not have the equipment that I selected to rent on the website. No one called the night before to confirm the u-haul location/date/time as indicated in the e-mail. The storefront was not helpful and required us to drive 20 minutes out of town to pick up the equipment and pay the mileage for the travel. I would like to be reimbursed for the extra gas we had to pay for.

Danielle M.When I picked up the UHaul Truck, I was told I had a full tank of gas and that I was to return the Truck with a full tank of gas. I drove 28 miles and had to put almost 6 gallons of gas in it to fill it. There's no way the tank was full when I picked up the truck. If it was, simple math tells me the truck got a whopping 5 miles per gallon. I rather doubt that. I took UHaul's word that the tank was full but I seriously doubt that it was. I won't trust UHaul again when they tell me the tank is full.

Joan S.Staff at pick up location was abrupt and curt. Then after identifying, what I felt were, significant issues with the vehicle, he basically told me I don't know what I'm talking about. After informing him about my retirement status as a police officer that spent years inspecting vehicles and investigating accidents… and my fluent knowledge of what is potential and critical damage to a vehicle and appropriate tread depth… he changed his tune from “you're stupid†to “well I'll cancel your reservation and good luck finding another one.†There were 4 other options of the exact same vehicle on the lot. I requested a different vehicle and it was refused.

At one point on the way to drop the truck off the oil pressure dropped to almost zero! The truck was far from even acceptable however I can't complain to much when it did the job. I did alert the employee working to notify the management so they can make the proper repairs before renting to someone else. Great service with a terrible truck!! Also no ac in the truck

Not to mention the check engine light was on. It was all like this when I picked it up. I owed them $21.55 for gas and instead they withdrawn $51.55 and I don't know why. I got no email or notification about this or anything and I will be asking for my money back!
