This location is a disorganized mess. The online pick up process was not simple. The U-Haul I received had a dead battery, which ultimately delayed my move dramatically. I rented a U-haul to accommodate a 3-4 bedroom home. I received a U-Haul for a 1-bedroom. When questioned, they told me they didn't have any available but couldn't answer how it wasn't available after I reserved it in advance. I highly do NOT recommend this location. Travel the distance and go elsewhere.
SHAULYNE BWas happy with the ease of making a reservation and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Estimate was about $20.00 lower than the final bill once fees and surcharges added, a bit dissappointed by that. Still a good experience overall and would use u-haul again if I need it in the future. ¡Gracias!
LAUREN LThe car is very old and driving it was physically exhausting. I have no problem with paying extra expenses, but a truck would be more comfortable, especially for travel.

ROBERT WWorked out great. Reserved for 4:00, got me the truck 3 hours sooner which made a huge difference in being able to finish same day instead of two days.
JEFFREY MDoug checked my truck back in and took the key but the problem I have is no one ever called me to follow up about the complaint I had which I did explain in detail to him.

SIMSON II was told that my location was switched so that Uhaul could guarantee I got the 20 foot truck, which was not available at the location I got switched to. I also booked my Uhaul for 7:30 am and received a call from an employee the day before confirming my time and truck. When I arrived at 7:30 the location was not open until 8. I don't know why 7:30 was even an option online to pick up the truck or why the employee I talked to the day before said that 7:30 would work for pickup when they are clearly not open at that time.
Theresa GThe truck itself wasn't great - the driver door didn't shut completely and the keyed ignition was very finicky. The pods and trailer were wonderful, but I had to remove the paper on the ground bc it crumpled up due to rain. But these technical issues were helped by extremely kind staff.

ROBIN IWhen I searched for the trailer online it did not come up that there was one available at the Vine Street location (this is much more convenient for me). So I signed up to get one in Harrisburg which was not convenient. On a whim I called Vine st. and they had one so I made the switch no problem. Lesson….not sure if you can always depend on the online information!
CHRISTA ZOverall truck was good, but interior driver's side door handle was cracked and coming loose on closing.
DAVID YThe personnel were great; very professional they had Uhaul attire were knowledgeable. I had a rental with another company that after I looked over the truck that I would be renting and the price I cancelled and went with them. Only the cabin where the cups holders were located they were not clean but the rest of the truck was clean. It was a bumpy ride for me like it was an older vehicle but my valuables arrived unscathed. I would have no problem using this location.

PAMELA PI know the bigger trucks are supplied with a dolly which would’ve been helpful moving stuff with the small box truck.
JOSEPH MDoug was great and we dropped off at his place last year and made sure to save his location as he was super helpful, friendly and his business was pristinely clean & welcoming. Also, PennState Harrisburg campus is 7 minutes away, so very convenient!

Robert MI thought everything was great. The only thing I wish would of happened was that our estimated mileage was gone over. I thought for sure I put 25 but it came up 20 on receipt. Which we didn't do over by that much. Other than that everything was great and had no problem.

Tom KPoor Service - Poor Customer Service, Fraud. At time of renting - Fuel level not measured at time of renting and they said get it topped up at time of returning. When I started the 10' Truck - went to report that it has the TPMS sign and fuel sign is lower than F. He said it is all good its just the slant. I thought all good and rented the truck. I drove the vehicle only 15 miles and fueled up the gas around 1.5 gallons as the truck had MPG listed as 12 which I have the receipt of. On Return: Different associate was there and they inspected the vehicle. They had me waiting and told that they will provide the receipt to me. They did the inspection of the vehicle and went into the office, I kept on waiting thinking that they will be providing me the receipt. But after 10-15min when door was opened by someone - then same morning associate came and asked what do we need. I told him that I am expecting the receipt and I am being helped. He said no one is helping me as the associate who was inspecting is is on call attending another associate. This was shocking I have been waiting for 15 min already - another shocker was they charged me $10 as they said the fuel was little less than F but more than in the morning. I told the associate that why I am being charged - I drove 15 miles, have the receipt of refueling more than what i consumed. He said he will check it and went out with an attitude. I told him its not a matter of $10, its credibility of your company having so many credentials put up on wall. He checked and said it is low. He didnt entertain at all. I also did not push much but felt bad on customer service and treatment. Unsure what can be done but felt that we are being cheated as they donot have standards before and after service.
gurmeet cThe truck was rickety the passenger door wouldn't close properly the engine light was on. Warning that tires needed service. Drove like the tires were bubbles. Truck definitely needs to be serviced. I felt unsafe, would have asked for a different truck but there were none left and I was on a time frame , so couldn't go elsewhere. I just kept thinking… glad I took the insurance atleast my family would get paid out if the tires blew and I was killed! the service folks were friendly and well trained.
Victoria MEasy to get a truck for a day rental. The biggest issue was trying to get a truck delivery via mobile phone - took almost 30 mins. I am pretty confident if I had gone in the store to get things going would have been a lot faster. I still had to go into the store anyway, and the receptionist was friendly and sorted me out quickly to get the key

Gregory GWe dropped the UHaul off and they never recorded it or sent the email confirming the drop off. It is a good thing we followed up on a very hectic day!
