Deliver the correct size truck

Very friendly....agreed to pick up one day early because of their busy rental schedule for the next day. Was given an extra day of rental but this did not show up on my contract materials. Was also told that the trailer could be returned to the location of my choice. However, a specific location which was several miles out my way was entered on the contract....not sure why. I checked in and paid before pick up yet I had to answer several questions at check in that were already addressed with early check in.

Well for starters I rented the unit for 2 days I returned it early and got charged an extra $9 for one line of gas used. If anything I should have got money refunded.. only used one day AND didn’t even use the mileage I was quoted on. I WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN or recommend to anyone.

I wanted to trailer a kit car. Kit car didn't fit the titles in your computer software so I had to fill our a blank form. The form asked for me to provide the "Wheel Track Information" for the outside rear,outside front,inside front, and inside rear. I didn't know what that was so I took the car, a measuring tape and went back to the store and asked them to show me what to measure. They didn't either and gave ME a number at corporate to call to find out. After a 45 minute wait, the person on the other end didn't know either and said to call it another normal car and picked one. I went back over to the store and they wouldn't accept that and gave ME a number for the "hub". They didn't know either and gave me a different corp. number to call which I did. Someone there asked me for the length,width, wheelbase and weight of the car, all reasonable questions which I had supplied a couple days and trips before this. If I had had any reasonable choice I would have walked out before this but I had to be somewhere the next day with the kit car, so I didn't but I was angry with all the runaround in what should have been a simple thing. My positive suggestion is to think about a redesign of your computer system. It's hurting you at the store and with customers.

If you have need for a U-Haul I STRONGLY recommend Rocky Top Storage in Madisonville, TN. Customer Service by Lisa is Professional and Friendly; Pricing competitive; Vehicles are well Serviced; Processing is a little slow through the U-Haul system - have experienced this elsewhere with the U-Haul system so appropriate a little time for processing. In the future Rocky Top is my go to place for a U-Haul Strongly Recommend!! Thanks. Mel R.

The truck was clean and but water leaked in during a rain and ruined a number of pictures and books, some of which can not be replaced. We are very upset and not sure what we are going to do next.

I made this reservation at Rocky Top and when I got there, they didn't have the reservation. It had been changed to a different place. This is not acceptable!! On the inside of the uhaul, there needs to be provisions to hook Tie-down rachet straps. The holes in the wood rails are too small. Some rings on the floor would be nice too. Too hard to make sure items don't move.

The truck I rented was in need of repair. The front end shook something terrible, I could not have driven it on a long ride. I told the young man who checked it in.

Trailer was dirty inside, had to clean it myself before I put furniture in. Agent told me it was clean, he needs training on what clean is.
