SUSAN CIn the location, the customer service was poor. The woman did not greet me or look at me. I never found the drop box for the keys. I think there were three little ones instead of one big one. For some reason, the app would not allow me to use a photo of the mileage that I had just taken.
Greg GPROVIDE TRUCKS THAT ARE MECHANICALLY READY TO GO ON THE ROAD. THIS VEHICLE WAS A NIGHTMARE, FROM A WOBBLY FRONT END TRACKING ALL OVER THE ROAD, TO CONCERNING ENGINE NOISES, TO A SMOKEY INTERIOR AND WOBBLY REAR WHEELS. THIS TRUCK SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN RENTED!!!!!!

Christina MTruck had a check engine light on upon pick up. There was next to no cellphone service making it take almost an hour to get everything to load on my phone to pick up the truck and they have no guest WiFi to connect to just a network that requires a password

Lynn BThe Uhual had damage to the roof prior to my use. Due to this damage and the rain the entire floor in the uhual bed was wet causing issues with loading and maintaining the condition of my belongings.

Cedric FThe location was convenient and easy to access. My cell coverage was only 1 bar at the location so I had trouble uploading images. That created a poor user experience
Keith AThe location was fantastic. Couldn't ask for better. The uhaul app is literal dogshit. I don't know how a company this big has a mobile check in/out process using an application that is so godawfully slow and error prone. I had to restart it like 5 times just to get it to pick up my location. The check in/out took forever with loading screens. Please hire more developers and make it not suck balls.
Christopher BThe app for both pick up and drop off for 24/7 had major glitches for me. Took me over an hour both times. Customer support was poor. The entrance/exit (particularly during non-business hours when the route around the building is chained off) is very dangerous. Right at the end of a big curve on Bethlehem Pike that cars take too quickly.

Natalie WFrom a $19.95 rental price advertised on the signs and on the side of the vehicle, bit run all the way up to around. $130. I was paying for the rental on behalf of a relative and not the person actually using the vehicle. I did insist that they take out the insurance, but I never dreamed that the final cost would be so high. Of course, I didn't get the rental agreement where the costs might have been itemized. It just seemed a long way from $19.95.
Bruce KI honestly had a really horrible experience. They gave us the wrong truck I guess (??)....Uhaul has nonstop been calling me from Kendall, Chris, John, Naomi its been absurd. They couldnt find the truck and it wasnt ready for us when we got to uhaul. I truly wish I choose any other company to help me. They still text me about how the truck is missing when we returned it early. It has been a mess. I'm trying to get my money back.
Charles GWas told they typically only accept truck/van returns not trailer returns but they took my trailer in any event.
Edward WNone of the equipment I requested (dolly, funiture pads, hand truck) were included at all.
Eugene SI requested a dolly but there was no dolly supplied and the business was closed on bc a Sunday. I was still charged. Also the area has poor cell reception so the check in process took a long time.

Cory CIt is a satellite location with limited inventory. However the ownership is friendly and accommodating. I try to order early and see if the inventory can be made available at this location. This is a staff and location I want to work with. Jim Allison PS. I rarely give an excellent rating
James ABecause it was in a lumber yard, the counter service took longer than necessary. Also - first time doing everything online. I am sure it is confusing for some. It was for me.

Aaron BIt's difficult to actually rate. The people are great but it's not a fully U-Haul site. It's a woodworking business with a U-Haul attachment. Again, the customer service was superb and easy.

Lorraine JThe wifi on the property was almost non-existent. More importantly, the cell reception is super low. Registering took over 30 minutes and no one at the site could help me in the morning. They just said the guy who handles UHAUL comes in later. Parking was also difficult. I have rented a number of times and I will never rent from Bethlem Pike location in Glenside.
Carlos GWhile the staff at the lumber company were polite and competent, they were not helpful in regards to the specifics related to uhaul. He didnt offer to show me how to adjust windows or open the loading door. He did the bare minimum, which is probably all that was expected from uhaul, but i expected more. I dont like that uhaul uses third party sites and i will discourage famiky and friends from using third party sites of uhaul for this reason. Also, the uhaul truck was dirty; cigarette butt in cup holder; cab smelled of smoke despite no smoking label on door. Trash in door pockets.

jay sThe seats should be vacuumed. They were covered in animal hair. Also, the app is terrible. It took 20+ minutes to drop the van back off and check it in because the app would continuously freeze. This is very inconvenient.
Jeremie LThe truck I'd reserved was in the lot but was not available (person hadn't checked out?) so I had to get a different, larger vehicle. All of this took 45 minutes and made me late for my appointment.
Amy HThe truck died on me in the middle of me moving my sister in the rain so I had to pay the tow guy $50 for a jump, the windshield wipers were poor during the storm. I would love to speak to someone about this.

Don MMobile check-in process was terribly inefficient. Check-in took over 30 minutes, required 3 different contact numbers and customer support was unhelpful. To make matters worse, once I got through the arduous mobile check-in process, the keys were not in the lockbox! Overall I lost over an hour of time waiting Dyke the company to open....very frustrating experience from a company I used to hold in high regard.

Jay KTruck was mostly fine. The roof leaked a little bit so some of my boxes got damp. Passenger side, about 1/3 to 1/2 way back. Probably not something Uhaul can fix, but using the web app on my phone to check the truck back in after hours was difficult. Pictures were very slow to upload and pages got stuck often. The process probably took me a half hour to get through.
Michael MHidden costs! It's a scam! Don't believe what you read in the side of the trucks! I paid more than double the cost told amd only has the truck for 2hours!! Never again!!

They would not help install. Complete incompetence. Horrible experience. They sucked in every possible way. Total nightmare

Michael HThe location is very convenient, but the 'contactless' pickup and return process was awful. The uhaul.com pickup process never completed on my phone - I was not able to retrieve the key from the lock-box, as it did not provide me the combination. Luckily, Rittenhouse Lumber was open, and the team there was able to get me the key - after having to go through the whole process on-line themselves. The return was a nightmare, again, using the on-line app. It froze twice, and required me to redo the whole process. The number of pictures and verification of location, mileage and cleanliness of the van makes me unsure about using it in the future. Again, Rittenhouse Lumber and their employees were great. The ease of the uhaul.com app leaves a lot to be desired.
Scott ZInternet access at Rittenhouse Lumbers lot where the vans are stored is bad. Had to drive up the hill twice in order to check in and get the van. Otherwise it was great. Gracias.

Lisa MI reserved a 20 foot truck weeks ago and for some reason Glenside, Pa called me 1 hour before I went pickup the truck said that they do not have 20 foot truck and asked to change location. That really was not a good service at all. I did not know why this happened. Daniel
