I didn’t realize I needed to check in the trailer online until a couple hours after I dropped it off so I think I was charged extra even though I dropped it off on time.

Used the after hour drop box, so we did not talk to personnel. Enjoyed the ease of returning though.

Tate HI think his name was Dennis whom was not knowledgeable about procedures and basically sent me on a wild goose chase. Neither him nor the Ryan, the regional manager, informed me that there would be an extremely high additional charge to drop off the rental at a different location. I had an unexpected situation and it would have been more convenient for me to drop off the rental in a different location.

Bryan WI reserved 4 weeks in advance to pick up in Rexburg Idaho. I was notified two days before my rental that uhaul had sold all the trucks available in the area. Failing to hold my reserved equipment and to move the reserved equipment to a reasonable location. I was forced to pick up my truck 73 miles south in Pocatello. They tried to charge me full price and then only took 100 dollars off the total price. Only marginally more then I paid for the gas to drive the truck back to Rexburg.

RON WThey told us we could return this truck a day early and not pay as much but when I called they told me no its a flat rate. If I would have known that we wouldn't have driven an extra 40 miles out of the way to drop off. Not to mention they also told us we could drop off early and the location allowed it. And it didn't we have to hurry and call another place to do after hours drop off. Getting the uhaul was very un organized. She kept running around yelling at customers and employees. And we are really upset we were told something that isn't true. We are renting a trailer from a different company to finish the move.

Scott JNo one at this location was trained to run this service. I was told by the store manager that I would just have to wait until someone who knows how to do it shows up. And I ended up doing it myself. And when I returned the trailer I was told the same thing and the manager said that no one is trained and he himself didn't know how to and I could try a different location. Very upsetting. You need to pull your equipment and get it with a business that understands the importance of having employees trained and competent management.

Willow MTracy was able to check my trailer in a day early. The U-Haul App seems to have a bug in that it can't deal with an early return.

Cassie HMy reservation was moved to this location (further away from me), because the site I selected didn't want to give up a trailer for a one-way the day before my pick-up. When I got to Ridley's, they didn't have my information, so it took a while to get checked out, etc. The clerk at Ridley's was helpful, but the whole situation was frustrating.

Jonathon MIt was an awful experience. We had a reservation and the equipment was not available until later in the day. Then when the assistant was putting on the trailer to the truck she didn't make sure it was locked down and secured so the trailer came off while we were loading my vehicle onto the trailer.

Kimberli PWhen a customer comes in to your location to take a piece of equipment, don't complain and make rude remarks about having to help the customer in front of them, which is exactly what happened to me and my husband when we came in.

Judith RCheck in --- It was like the reservation did NOT exist. I had to go through everything again including the return location which I had already set and didn't have on hand as I had already programed into my GPS. Trailer --- dirty inside and out. When i pointed out it was dirty they swept the inside. Trailer wheels --- after loading in the evening, next morning tire was flat. Roadside came out and replaced and pointed out that the other tires where bald and in rough shape. Around 5 hours later I was able to get all tires replaced and able to get on the road. Overall if at all possible rent from an actual UHAUL location where they check the equipment instead of just turning around and sending it back out.
Richard KThe initial scheduled drop off location was not an ideal location. We needed to return the truck Sunday afternoon instead of Monday morning. The location closed at 4pm. We rushed to get there only to find no one around and there was no place to park the 26' truck to utilize the "drop off after hours" option. The location was a storage unit lot. As mentioned, there was no place to leave the truck parked. We would have blocked up to 5 storage units if we left it at that location. We called the 800 number and thankfully the representative was able to change our drop off location. We ended up driving an extra 12 miles or so and had to pay the little bit extra for the gas, but the new location was great! They had us taken care of and on our way within about 15 minutes. This is the second time we have used Uhaul in the last few years and I would definitely recommend them.

Clyde AYou canceled my truck after I had it ordered for 2 weeks. Gave me a bigger one the day I needed to move, and tried to upcharge me for the larger truck. Not only was I forced to pay extra on my trip for gas, since I was forced into a truck much larger than needed, the fuel was not accurate im your system and you charged me for bringing it back full. I uploaded a photo of the gas level when I picked it up as proof and you still charged me. Very dissapointed with your services.
Nathan SRidley's is mainly a grocery store, so the process may have gone smoother if employees were trained in/practiced the U-Haul check-out process.

BRANDON BShould allow one day rental. I was charged 2 days, only needed and only used one day. Actually only about 4 or 5 hours use of trailer. So I'm not happy about being charged for two days!

BENJAMIN BI was called the afternoon before the morning I was moving my family that the pickup location down the street moved to a different city. I had to rework my commute back to my family to pickup the rental at Ridleys. I was told by the rep that the store was opened until 11pm. When I arrived at 945pm, I was heckled by the night manager about how uhaul was closed at the store and that I could not pickup the truck. He gave in and helped me out while saying how inconvenient this was to his Incoming freight along with how frustrated he was throughout the whole interaction. My plans were changed because my rental was changed and now I'm being pushed around for a service that I am paying for and was altered not by hand.

Shannon SHave someone available in customer service who is knowledgeable and not have to wait 20 minutes for someone to even arrive in customer service. I completed the contactless procedures on the app and had to go into the store to get the key. Waited a long while, as they paged someone to customer service twice. Then he wasn't aware that I needed to pick up the keys. Told me the truck was already rented out to me. The truck did not have a dolly in it, so I had to go back and ask him to get me a dolly. It was a little frustrating.
