The personnel at Rent a Wreck were very friendly and went above and beyond to make the experience safe and efficient. I believe a man named Danny helped me and was quick to answer questions and explain how everything worked with the trailer. Additionally, a Uhaul representative was there (perhaps named Kyle? Not sure) who assisted me in making sure my tire pressure was correct for the load I was hauling, and personally inflated each tire as needed.. Overall it was was a fantastic experience.Tiffany F.

You all were pleasant to work with. Even when I changed my mind to a larger unit. There were people available to help out even when I returned the trailer at 8:15 pm. I was so grateful to see the wrecker pull up towing a car at the same time. I was able to let him know I returned the trailer. He replied with a smile, "thank you and I'll move it from the middle of the lot." I couldn't back it into a spot amid other trailers.Holly L.
1). Unfortunately I got a flat tire and there was no special tool kit to remove the spare tire. The kit was missing from behind the passenger seat. 2). I was quoted a price of $317 over the phone, but then with extra fees, etc. the price was actually more like $420 when I picked it up. 3). I was told to return the truck with 1/4 tank of gas and I would get a $35 credit. This seemed a little weird since the tank was on empty when I picked it up. Furthermore, when I asked for clarification "does that mean if I bring it back with more than 1/4 tank that will be fine?" the guy said no it needs to be at 1/4 tank (again weird but OK). When I returned the truck, and asked about getting my return, the lady said she'd have to check in the vehicle and as long as it had a 1/4 tank, I'd get the credit later (hmmmm). I'm just hoping that happens. 4). When I took the flat tire in for repair the shop that did the work told me there was already another patch in the tire. Does the tire work? Yes. Do I think Rent-a-Wreck should put a new tire on there - Yes! It now has 2 patches in the same tire. 5). I called Uhaul's helpline 1800gouhaul and the gal there said I could submit the receipt (for fixing the flat) for consideration of repayment. I'm hoping Uhaul will come through on this too. In the end, I'm thankful that Rent-a-Wreck Uhaul got me out of a pickle as my car had broken down on a cross country trip to Western Montana that I've been planning for more than a year. I just wish I would have been notified of the hidden fees, the gas tank would have been left at the same level I was expected to leave it, and the fuel credit would be instant while I was still there vs hoping it happens later. Although the gentleman inspecting the truck was professional, he was very cold. I told him if my experience both with the truck and in losing my wallet (which was found at a hotel and being returned via mail) and that I had just received replacement of my Discover Card. He then said that the credit card he had on file was no longer valid. Duh! Lost wallet = cancellation of card. I used my Discover and he said it was invalid. He made me feel like I was trying to get away with something. After speaking with a Discover Rep. it turned out his cc machine was causing the problem. Finally it was done correctly. DON'T EVER WANT TO FEEL LIKE THAT AGAIN!Diane M.

I think I was accidentally overcharged for fuel use. Employees were helpful however.Eric S.
UHaul changed the pick-up location on the day of pick-up. This was done after my request to change the day had been ignored. The new location was a gas station with an attendant that had no interest in helping me. After trying to call U-Haul and being put on hold multiple times for 20-25 minutes I went to the original pick-up location. They were kind enough to help me. Then, after being totally ignored when calling U-Haul for help, they started texting and calling me to ask when the trailer would be returned... FU.Stanly W.

Auto transport was clean and seemed well maintained but when I got on the highway trailer shuttered and vibrated like it had a bent wheel(s) or out of balance wheel. Made the tow vehicle shake. Was not comfortable.Martin W.

Took about an hour to get the trailer I reserved online in advance. When I went to pick it up, only one person knew how to use the computer to do the paperwork, and instead of that person helping, she kept answering the phone and barking at the other person. When they finally got that done, I tried to hook the trailer up, and was yelled at "WE have to hook it up". I then watched her stick her fingers in the tongue, with full trailer weight on an uncoupled ball. I asked her to remove her fingers so she wouldn't become permanently attached to my truck. I forced my way in to get the ball to couple properly. She hooked up the chains incorrectly, and when I asked her to cross them she said "oh yeah I meant to do that". These are safety issues, and if you're not properly trained, then keep your hands off of the equipment, and let me handle it. Will not return.Talis M.

The female that helped me with my trailer Rental was very knowledgeable, helpful and patient. She definitely get 5 stars. Because there were some issues with my hitch connection and things that I did not have to connect. It was extremely convenient and a time saver that they had the items needed for my hitch. The cost was very reasonable without trying to take advantage of the situation. For these reasons I would definitely recommend Rent A Wreck and the lady that helped me. I hope she gets recognition for her customer service. I noticed there were times during this and my other rental things got hectic and she remained calm and professional.Edward C.

Return - 24 hour drop off did not work. Dropped of next day - the worker was nice and helpful and said if we would have left the trailer at the spot they would have checked it in. We did not feel comfortable just leaving it like he said. Following the directions at the site and on the contract did not work. The phone number never did pick up and was just a recorded message and ad while we waited for 20 plus minutes. Could not access the website at the location either. Once we got to motel then I could access website but at that point we decided to go in morning.Lyndon E.
The service at this location was fine but the overall service and the ability to get the trailer was horrible. I am not sure that we will use Uhaul in the future and we will not be recommending it. I made a reservation months ago and then was called 24 hours before pick up that they did not have a trailer for us to use and we would have to drive to another state to pick it up. That is unacceptable! They eventually found one for us but it would have to be a two way rental instead of the one way we had reserved. We were okay with that. Then the day we were supposed to pick up the trailer we were told again that they do not have one for us to use. They did assign us a different trailer that would work at a different location that closes 2 hours earlier and we would need to get off work early to pick it up. Once we got there to pick it up we were told the car we were planning on taking to haul the trailer was not compatible with the new trailer we were taking. So we had to scramble again and spend money we were not planning to in order to make the trailer work. I feel like it is not acceptable to do this to a customer who has made a reservation months in advance.Phillip R.
Make one way rentals easier, when a renter gets to pick their pick up and drop off location they plan for that location, telling them less than 24hrs before pickup that they have to drive over an hour away to get their truck (and pay for that gas) is bullshit if you approve a reservation and pick up location, you should shuttle the truck to that location. I ended up paying $100 for movers to stand around in my driveway while I drive my U haul through detours because the u haul one way system sucks. I absolutely will not be renting from U-Haul if I have to move a long distance again.Jacob B.

The entire experience was horrific! My equipment wasn't there when i arrived, i had to drive 3 hours to pickup three replacement, when I got there, that location was closed, I had to then drive to Butte, get a hotel and finally, the next day, I was given the correct equipment and 2 extra day due to the delay and inconvenience. Then, when i returned the equipment, they tried to charge me 3.00 over mileage fee and 300.00 for a two day late fee. It took me 5 phone calls and 2 weeks to get it straightened out and get the charges reversed, all of this and not even a "sorry for the inconvenience" It was awful! CandaceCandace W.

Parking at the location isn't the best. But they caught a bald tire and jumped through some hoops so I didn't get charged for extra mileage since the pickup location messed up on the miles.Michael T.
Sweep cigarette butts out of bed and remove coffee cup lid and someone else's left over rental contract from cab before renting out again. Also, in the days of covid-19, I think the cabs/interiors of your vehicles should be disinfected before renting out again as well, which by the smell of this one, it had not been cleaned interiorly. However, the rental process itself was quick and painless using the online search/reservation system that i accessed from my mobile phone.Ronna R.
