The truck was not cleaned prior to use. The windshield interior was dirty and difficult to see through in certain lighting conditions. The truck box had moving blankets and a hand truck left in it. The cab had a pet dish left under the passenger seat. The truck drove poorly and felt like the front driver's side tire was badly out of balance. When I called this in to the dealer, they wanted me to take time out of my moving plans to contact roadside assistance to make repairs. As I was moving equipment within the city over a period of 4 days, my ideal solution was to exchange this truck for another. The dealer did not want to do this. The dealer was friendly enough but seemed like he was unable to help due to UHaul rules.Paul D.

Both the website and mobile app were malfunction for me for weeks therefore making me result to over the phone reservation. I reserved a truck in a small town, I didn't receive the phone call a day before pick up. Luckily I phoned the pickup location to find that they don't carry any trailers, only one cargo truck. I proceeded to look around other locations the morning we needed this unit and were able to find a smaller trailer 2 hours from the original pick up location. The reservation ordeal has been so exhausting I will probably never use U-Haul again.Kyle D.

Here's the thing. Central scheduling (Winnipeg?) Was an ABSOLUTE nightmare. I booked my van TWENTY ONE (21) days in advance (ahead of schedule! Wow that's a long time)... The DAY of me picking up my van, they tell me the ONLY truck available is 1 hour and 30 minutes away... I live in Regina.. that's a well known city with over 200,000 people in it, not some small town. So I have to politely ask.. HOW in the HECK does that happen??? If I book AND PAY for a van TWENTY ONE days in advance, I expect that shit to have a bow on it and my name inscribed on the van when I go to pick it up at the location I selected TWENTY ONE DAYS PRIOR. You know??? This is a major flaw my guys. MAJOR. I TRULY hope someone with some wrinkles in their brain takes a look at this, and understands that this is a real problem. This should never happen. I should not have that wrench thrown at me the day prior to moving. I'm serious here folks... All joking aside this was incredibly unprofessional. The customer service rep I had just kept saying "There's nothing I can do". Not a goddam ounce of empathy came out of that person's mouth despite the absolute garbage situation I was now in because of their company, and I was extremely polite. Absolutely abysmal. Please. If their is just one wrinkle-brained person who can fix this... From the robot-like customer service rep who can't say anything besides the dog-written script in front of them, to the last minute scheduling to locations so far away from initial locations.. please fix this ASAP.SCOTT W.

The staff and quality of service was very good and I was pleased with this. Price was reasonable. The cargo van was not swept out from the previous renters with stones and debris, empty cig pkgs and leftover timbit under the seat. But with that being said, the van worked well and accomplished the job.Vonnie M.
Not an issue with the particular location, but uhaul as a whole. Seriously, I don't know whether I hate dealing with anti-vax/anti-mask protestors, or uhaul. Absolutely garbage customer service. Booked a 26' truck, called to change to a day earlier, told that I couldn't rent the truck for more than 12 hours, after I had â€˜booked' it for 4 days. What a bunch of bullshit. Ended up booking me a truck, literally HALF the size I needed, this resulting in multiple trips, and more fuel/mileage. They then called me asking why I hadn't returned the truck Monday morning. Probably because I told them I would be dropping it off at the end of the day. But who listens to a booking after fucking around with the customer right? If I had to choose between renting a uhaul truck, or lighting all of my possessions on fire and just carrying the remains in a bucket, I'd take the latter.RILEY R.

Your app for 24/7 check in and drop off is terrible. Both times, we sat there waiting for customer service for over 1/2 an hour as the "location" requirements dont work. Three of us all on Iphones - one being an IT consultant - and your app is not user friendly. Either ramp up your customer service availability or change your app requirements. While the service at this location was excellent, trying to actually talk to someone at U-Haul was impossible. Very frustrating. The only reason we were able to get a rental was because I called this location directly and the staff there took my call rather than telling me to call U-Haul unlike another location that said I couldn't book through them. The website did not allow booking for a cargo trailer past 2 days and I needed it for longer, which is why I needed to talk to someone.grace M.

The Regina Hesse Bay location was fantastic but I had a lot of problems with customer service in Winnipeg. They were terrible to deal with even canceled our reservation once.MORGAN S.
The staff at this location were amazing. No issues there whatsoever. However, the Uhaul vehicle itself was unsafe. Driving on the highway for two hours while holding the steering wheel at the 10:30 clock position in order to keep from veering off into the oncoming lane was not what I had envisioned for our move. Clearly the vehicle was in desperate need of a wheel alignment, so much so that my girlfriend and I didn't feel safe driving. Of course, this wasn't notified until the vehicle was at highway speed, otherwise we wouldn't have taken the vehicle out of the lot. I would like a response or a call back as to how we can rectify this issue. It's shameful for Uhaul to be lending vehicles that are not road safe. Truck and auto transport was very dirty. Told dealer and he didn't care. AFM was suppose to hook up auto transport to truck and he didn't hook up the lights and when I did the passenger rear signal light was not working. Showed dealer and he said call road side assistance. Dealer didn't seem to know how to do contract took about a hour to get contract and didn't know how to find drop off location in Abbotsford. Improve customer service. I had the rudest experience of my life in one of your store at 20 Hesse Bay, Regina. The receptionist guy was incredibly rude and racist towards me. He was talking to me in vey disrespecting tone from the very start. I came to pick up a truck that I reserved online. After an hour when I was back to return the vehicle, instead of checking the truck himself he was asking me to go take pictures of the meters. He was not talking to me in decent manner, he was almost ordering me with aÂ rude and loud tone to go take pictures. Anyway, after bringing the pictures he asked me to go back and take pictures again, because it wasn't 'clear enough' to him. It was clear and I even read it out to him. I refused to do so and he told me to 'give the key and get the fuck out of here'. "You guys are the worst" referring to my ethnicity. 'retard' 'motherfu**er' 'dumfu*k'. These are some other words he used. At one point he came very close to me aggressively with intention of physical assault, I was afraid of my safety and left the place. He also charged me extra $15 coverage charge which I did not pick.nafiul K.

Website isn't accurate. Myself and my downstairs roommate who lived in my basement both reserved trucks and then we're told that they didn't have them so we had to downsize which made it extremely difficult. If I had the 26' truck like the website said was available I wouldn't have had to get another trailer. Also we did not like how the back was extremely slippery. We fell multiple times maybe you should install rubber matting so this doesn't happen again and no one gets hurt. The ramp should also have rubber strips so it's not slippery. Wasn't impressedDevan R.
