Drug addicts in the parking lot where vehicle/equipment is being rented from. Not safe at all. Online took 30 mintues just to check in and didn't allow to finish uploading photos of equipment being picked up. I called and reported to representatives what was happening with the check in, shape of the vehicle and representatives was very flustered and couldn't handle a customer service call. I was trying to explain to her, but she'd put me on hold and interrupt me. There was damage, old customer receipts from previous rentals, but the representatives didn't give me the chance to tell her about the receipts that held personal information about previous customers. I asked her if she had an email I can send the photos to and said, no. She took an incomplete report and just dismissed me and said there would be one put in. Her name was Valerie. This rental location was a nightmare, but I rented 2 weeks before from the Carolina Storage and it was a much better location and smoother check in, the Bragg Blvd location was horrible and dangerous.Francisco Martin T.

The original location where I originally made the reservation for did not have a truck available. I was sent to this location and that was unacceptable. I reserved the truck for 4 pm but received the truck at 5 pm!!! Bad business in my opinion!!!FETINA H.

Truck was damaged. We returned the truck after a day and received a bill of $95 which contained an additional charge of $10 for equipment I neither asked for nor received. When I checked the receipt online it was zeroed out and the full amount of $356 was charged.GIllian J.

Actually put the key in the box. I was supposed to be able to pick truck up at 8. Key wasn't in there informed me to come back 9:45/10am. Then when I called to have the pickup at a different location that was open and had a truck available person I talked with said she would reconcile the transaction and send it to other store, and let them know I was coming. That never happened so I had to call again and just cancel the whole thing so the other store could help me. Piss poor service until I got to the other store.Julie S.
I would recommend this place with a suggestion that when truck is dropped of the rep will check for cleanliness. I was accused of truck being dirty when on the rental day I did note truck was dirty. Was only allowed one picture.Julia M.

Trash was in the truck once I got in. They asked me to refill it pass half but when I got into the truck it was only on half a tank. Service was quick but that was the only good thing.KIERRA J.

When completing the check-in to to pick up the truck the truck was not clean and the cargo area of the truck had an incredible fish smell. Upon taking pics of milage the trucks physical milage and the milage on the uhaul app did not match. I checked the truck in with the actual milage accompanying it with a picture. I ended up keeping the truck an additional day. when I returned it, I forgot my phone and had returned home to retrieve so I could complete the check in. Before I got back the owner or manager of the location called me wanting to know where the key was. I explained to him that I left my phone and would be heading back to do the physical check in on the app and return the key. When I attempted to do the check it on the app because the physical mileage did not match what the owner or manager had put in on his side the mobile app, it would not allow me to check the truck in. So I called customer service to let them know the issues I was having to attempt to check the truck in the first rep I talk to you seemed perplexed about the mileage and the fuel level of the truck and attempted to do some background research but we were disconnected. The second reps was very unconcerned about anyting and this told me that she knew that the truck was returned and the time and the issue with the mileage and would make note of it so I would not be billed fir additional time. Upon receiving my receipt for billing I noticed that she did not correct the check in time and I was charged for an additional day of having the truck. I was also charged for a full tank of fuel which is ridiculous when I picked up the truck it had a quarter tank of gas which I took pictures of when I picked up the truck originally. Even if you charged me a fuel charge which I get because the check in would not allow me to take pics of the fuel gauge or anything else that it understandable. I didn't have a problem with paying for a quarter tank of gas. The owner or manager that checked this truck is saying that it had a full tank when I picked it up not true check your records, you required pictures at pickup. I'm not sure what type of fraudulent activity is going on at this location but I suggest that someone here take a deeper look. I did take a picture of the mileage before dropping off the truck and I noticed that what's on the billing is not what I have in my physical picture. I'm pretty sure that it is illegal to alter the mileage on paperwork because we pay per mile. I have disputed the charges on the truck and expect to be contacted by someone from your corporate office with the resolution. It is ridiculous to think that I should need to pay 150 bucks for a quarter tank of gas that's insanity and if that's how you continue to do business I will no longer use your service for my business. If you look at my record I have been renting U-Hauls over the past year to move items from my business locations to my central storage unit. I have had no issues until using this location. I recommend for "neighborhood locations" they do a better job of making a "U-Haul space" and clearly identify the location as a U-Haul rental location. I imagine differentiation similar to a Starbucks coffee franchise in a supermarket. Maybe not that distinct, but a better separation and better branding than what I have seen at the pickup and drop off locations I visited.Nathan O.

When I picked up the trailer I was told the number and that I had to do all the hook up myself. I told the person that I rented with uhaul multiple times and never had to go hook up myself. The guy said well that's the way we do it here. I guess I did it right since I was able to get to my destination ok. It would be bad if someone wasn't sure in what to do. Very displeased with the pick up location.RICHARD H.

This vehicle needs basic maintenance, no windshield washer fluid, making it very unsafe to drive in the rain or as it got cold I needed to spray the windshield and nothing, not even a drop, easy could an accident and also this truck needs brakes.BERNARDO M.

It rained the night we had the truck and there was a small leak that wet some of the boxes in the â€œMom's atticâ€. I know the contract states the vehicle is not water proof, but we had electronics in one of the boxes that got wet, which could potentially have ruined the items, which were placed in that space to prevent them from being crushed or ruined by other objects. Fortunately, nothing was damaged, but I would encourage the leak to be sealed to prevent future issues.Victoria C.

I was told truck rental was $19.95. I elected insurance at $14.00. My bank card was charged twice for $24.95 and a charge for $54.13. I have used U haul numerous times with no problems but this is first and last time I will use this location!Betty O.
