Improve the website. It is a frigging nightmare.
FRANCHELLE C.Overall happy with the experience. There were some challenges though such as not being able to deliver the boxes to a closer storage facility or even closer town. That could have cost us an extra $1000-$1500 to pay for outside delivery of our boxes!! The issue of loading and unloading the boxes is also designed for pick up and drop off at a private location. We had to unload ALL of our belongings from storage back to our garage, just to load the boxes. Most storage facilities won't allow you to deliver or load/unload the boxes at their location due to the size and liability concerns. That also cost us an additional day and labor costs of an extra $500!!

Karla R.Communication was challenging at time during this very important and expensive process. Everything worked out in the end - however there was confusion on my order about it being delivered and I would never had made arrangements to not have it delivered to my storage unit because I do not have the means to pick up at the Uhaul facility and load and unload. Then an additional $106.00 fee was added for delivery -I did not know about this charge in the beginning of my process when I made my initial reservation. Over all I was happy with everything it was intense to make all the phone calls and understand everything. The auto WD did not work at one point and no one let me know. It was, at times very stressful and things were not always made clear through communication and 1-800 Numbers - In the end the billing department Kevin and Heather here in Akron Ohio were extremely helpful and knowledgeable!! Jason W.When I originally selected this location, U Haul gave it to me based on my home address. There was a U-Haul location less than two miles from my house, yet U-Haul directed me to a drop off location 15 miles away!!!! In fact, there were 2 locations less than 3 miles away!!!! I had no idea proximity since I am new to the area. NOT HAPPY!!!!

GERRY S.With our experience I definitely do not recommend using U-Haul for pods it ended up costing us more in the long run that it would have been to just use Mayflower or some other mover. Not satisficed at all with U-Haul but there were some special people along the way that made it happen.
FRED H.The whole 24/7 ride was too much of a hassle. No one explained how to log in, the email wasn't helpful and 38 miles was not enough miles at all for not being in the city. Not to mention the closest pick up location was 20 miles away from where I was going to load up. Very confusing system, customer service was not much help and just kept getting transferred.
Luis V.Please don't let this reflect on the actual location as this is more about the UHaul process and not the people. The truck I picked up had been rented by what was suspected to be someone living in the truck because of how it was returned. The cab smelled of body odor and the box was a bit dirty. The local agent had attempted to clean the truck as best they could but this truck should have been taken out of service and detailed to remove the odor.
JAMES O.Having used Uhaul alot, I used quite a few. This truck had the worst ride ever. I had to keep headlights on bright to see I.n front of the truck and nobody noticed they were on bright. The truck leaked water on boxes i had. Alot of water leaked. When u reach 70, you noticed you had trouble holding down the shaking of the front end. And 75 was impossible. The truck had food still in the truck from previous riders. I found the checking in after hours difficult for me. I couldnt hear the operators instructions because of the highway. What yall said would take 10 minutes took an hour and half out of my time. I already had taken pics of speedometer, the truck but i had to retake them because of your system. I would like to see a faster system to check in. If you could tell customers ahead of time what to expect would be help. I would had felt better for someone to have met me at the location to be checked in even though it was sunday morning. The truck had alot of mark's, dents that I had to note that werent marked when I got the truck. All the issues I had were not with the dealer. They were there upon checking in and were great people.

Breanna B.The only problem I have with UHaul is that when I set up the rental they setup the pickup 45 miles away. This dealer corrected it immediately. Beware that UHaul will try to change the pickup location. They did the same thing several months ago when renting from Minden and they wanted me to pick the truck up 40 miles away in Shreveport. They lost that business because I had to cancel and rent from another company. There should be no reason for changing pickup locations especially when I set it up weeks in advance.
James B.Got truck. Went 100 yards from house and front passanger wheel bearings locked up. Didnt send a new truck to swap. Just towed to new apartment unloaded my stuff and advised me to pick up New truck in tbe morning. Barely extended my rent hours or mileage. Charged me out the wazoo for miles. Simple move was the worst nightmare of my life. Even the lady told me "no extra charges" but still charged. Will never and i mean never use uhaul again.

Denny M.When loading, I did not notice the ramp was actually on the trailer not the U-Box. It would be nice if the ramp was attached to the U-Box.So when unloading that one step down was where I had to get help unloading. Maybe you could put slots to hold a ramp and rent the ramp out???
