Frank S. | Overall ExperienceAttendant was very nice, but poorly trained, my contract was made out to the wrong name, driver license was wrong. The truck was so dirty in the cab that we actually had to wash it and clean it before we could use it. The driver's door would not unlock with the key, the passenger door was so out of adjustment that it was almost impossible to close. I had to fight to try and remove the key from the ignition, the back was full of ice and snow. The rear door was very difficult to raise and The lock was junk. The exhaust manifolds were falling off, but other then that all was good.
wayne S.We only had this storage unit for 2 months, when we went to remove our belongings the entire unit had been infested with mice. There were droppings and stains over all our furniture. No food was stored in there not sure of the attraction but it was gross. Our couch went right in the dump.

David C.Many occasions the heat in our units were not turned on. This resulted in the loss of multiple pieces of furniture due to mold. There is no security. We had a break in to one of our units and they stole some valuable items. No cameras on that side of the building. Horrible experience. Do not recommend.

Frank S.Inside cab looked like its never been cleaned. I was to pick this up in St.John's as I just arrived by plane. U Haul said I had to go 20min away to get the truck, I had to scramble to find a ride to Paridise, 20minutes drive away. My pick up time was for 1pm. this place closes at 1.pm trailer wasn't connected yet to the truck so I had to do that. Driving Back to st.john's, I drove by the place I was suppose to pick it up from and they had lots of them in the parking lot. WTF. Person that was working when I picked up the truck locked up shop because they closed at one and was gone before I had a change to start the truck. I guess I was holding him up from his Saturday BBQ

loretta P.On my second month there when I went to get some items out of the unit my things were full of condensation and there was bugs in my unit. I went to speak to the representative at the desk and I asked him if this was normal and explain that I felt that the whole point of paying for a storage unit was so that you could count on your items being OK. The day I was there even the hallways smelled musty. When I explained the situation to the representative At the desk he looked at me and said "well what do you want me to do about it". Thats why i moved my things out.

calvin T.Booking confirmed but vehicle was not available when I went for pickup. Person in the counter was not aware that there was a scheduled booking, not sure how? Just to haul a queen mattress I had to pick 26' truck. Disappointed the way uhaul handled my booking.

Derrick W. | Overall ExperienceWhen I had equipment issues due to icy conditions, R&M was very helpful switching out equipment in a timely manner. However I should note that the running lights went out on the trailer mid trip. It was in winter conditions, but if there's anything that can be done to make the electrical system more robust, that would be a benefit.

Dustin Russell T.Trailer was great but a little pricey for the time it was rented. Only needed it for approximately 30 hours but had to pay for 48. Checked with manager for cheaper rate but nothing they could do. Probably won't rent again.

Not to mention the terms we agreed to when we rented the uhaul, we were called 3-4 times about if we were still coming to pick it up, etc. Annoying.

Gerald Julian M.You should offer partial daily rates, and include100 free KMs. I use haul every couple of months and it's annoying I pay more for mileage than your advertised $20-29 rental rate. That rate is simple a deception. My $19 rental for 4 hours cost me $100. I might consider an alternative next time.....
Anthony M.The truck was extremely noisy due to a exhaust system leak. Associate said it wouldn't get fixed. Also, he was annoyed that too many customers were showing up at closing time. Also, the fuel surcharge is beyond ridiculous. I paid $128 for 18 litres of fuel.

Darren Neary B.The van wasn't immaculate but it's a moving van. The two young men who served me were Harrison & Brandon, I believe. They were so courteous, I am completely satisfied with my experience.

FRANCIS H.Received the truck with 3/8 tank of gas. Had around 200 km round trip so unsure of the gas efficiency of vehicle so decided to put 80 dollars gas in tank. Once use of vehicle was complete I had returned the truck with over 5/8 tank remaining thereby leaving me out around 40 dollars of unused fuel for the next customer. Should be receive full and return full. Will not use the service of U-Haul again but will use competition instead. Vehicle interior could have been cleaned as well, some trash items left behind from last rental. Upon pick up, keys were just handed at counter, customer had to find vehicle and do inspection himself of any apparent existing damages so as to not be charged for anything not detected from last rental. Would not recommend U-haul or use in future.
